New Scot's Independence

Hi, this is my first time on Nation States and I'd like to get my nation going. Is there anyone willing to have my nation rebel from them? New Scot is a liberal democratic republic so I could be rebelling because your nation is really conservative or religious or maybe because you have an evil dictator or something. I'm just a little island country so I don't think a big nation would care too much about losing it. I've roleplayed battles on other games so I'm not bad at it, although its been almost year ago.

You can rebel from my empire. I have a lot of islands and plus I'm in a war right now so it would be a perfect chance for you to rebel. My empire's people are also pretty poor and there's no elections or anything. My nation's atheist, though, so you couldn't rebel because of that.

Cool, thanks. By the way, you aren't future tech are you?

No, I'm modern tech, but my army actually uses cold war stuff since I use quantity instead of quality. I can field a whole army for the price of some of the player-made machinery sold around here.
or my nation its a total dictatorship.

How's that work out for you, Northfrost? The Russians tried that in WW2 but it didn't work out so good. 1010102, is that what your country is called? What made your people say "Hey, let's name our country a whole bunch of random numbers!" :D
Its a reference to futurama from the episode with the wercarand bender dreams abouyt a bunch of numbers and sees that number string.

Well, I lost my first war and I was kicking but in my war right now until the guy that beat me in my first war showed up (that bastard).

Beat twice by the same guy. That's got to suck. Maybe its a sign not to use stuff from the 60's. But don't switch over until I get my independence. ;)

Lol. I don't use stuff that old. Most of my stuff is from the 80s or 90s. I like Cold War stuff, though, since most of it has already seen combat in real life and you know how its going to perform and what it looks like. The stuff players make here are usually just giant, super-powerful versions of real things that cost about 10 times as much.

I'll check that stuff out sometime. I doubt my little country could afford any of it, so I'll just stick with real, modern weapons for now. Can we start this tomorrow? I have stuff to do tonight.

Sure. Could you post a map or something when we get started? It helps to know where the main cities and highways are. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to get lost on a little island, but it can help roleplaying.

Okay. I'll probably just use a real life island (like Ireland or Taiwan). I'm not too good at making maps.

They won, didn't they? Incidentally, I'm willing too.
