Emperor Pharonius wanted to make sure Prince Aranor had a chance to continue the Royal Line. Sitting in his Throne Room, he thought that getting Aranor to marry would be good. So, he went to find Aranor, to discuss it with him.

Aranor was in the Library, reading a book when he felt his father's hand on his shoulder. ''Hello, my son.'' the Emperor said. ''Greetings, father.'' said Aranor, closing the book.

Pharonius said ''Aranor, I have been thinking. I do want you to have a good life. I would like to know if you would want to have a wife.''

Aranor looked at his dad with a weird look ''I've never thought of having one.''

Pharonius replied ''I can have a notice posted up for you so that suitors can come.''

Aranor nodded and said ''That would be good but what if no one comes forward.''

''I am sure someone will, there is someone for everyone as they say.''

So, Emperor Pharonius had a notice written up:

''To all nations,
I, Emperor Pharonius have made this notice to declare that my son, Prince Aranor is looking for a female suitor. I have discussed it with him and he has agreed to it. Here is some info on him:

Pharonius told Aranor he posted it and Aranor thought ''Maybe someone will come forward, who knows? I may find myself holding the hand of a lady soon.''

Vera Hylland walked through the New Archangel University. It was a good university, very reputable. She was studying to become a lawyer, it was hard work and very stressful. After an exam she returned to her apartment off campus. The answering machine had messages from her ex-boyfirend who cheated on her but for some reason wanted to hook back up with her. She deleted them and sighed. It was a nasty breakup and resulted in Vera breaking the nose of the other girl. A letter sat in her mail box. She read it and became interested.

I have read your message and I too am looking for someone to be with. I find you to be very interesting and I'd like to meet you in person someday. I think we have much in common and I'd like to hear from you soon

Arius' daughter was similar to him, he was Pharonius' only son and she was Arius' only daughter. Vera was a nice girl too, she was in university. He decided to write to them both.
