Assault on New Leningrad (Attn New Dornalia and DMG)

A holographic image of Lord Dominkive was shown in the middle of a dark throne room. A room within the Imperial Palace on Coruscant. Lord Dominkive and the other darkened figure

"The Fleet has been assembled brother."

<Excelent job Dominkive. Excelent.>

"......"

<Why the silence brother?>

"I just feel uncomfortable attacking their system Aelikes. It's the Aritash System results.... They're damn good fighters."

<And that's why you're getting the Tyrant as your command ship. You're being backed up by some of the strongest ships of the Empire. You have the best Tie Series Fighters in the Empire. What is there to be worried about?>

The hologram of Dominkive flickered a bit. Interferance from the invasion fleet of New Leningrad, "And..... We'r----..... Look's like we're comming into the system. Th---e-som----ference." The once crystal clear holograph of Dominkive began to grow into static. "Hold on Aelikes.... Switching modes..." The clear-life like shape of Dominkive changed into the older, clasic holographic blue-lined. "Better?"

<Much. You know the outline of your fleet. The ships involved. The fighter. Trust me, you'll be fine.>

"Whatever. Hey.... *Alarm sounds*" Dominkive rappidly turns around him and a Clone Trooper walked up to him, "We've reached the outer-most part of New Dornalian system of New Leningrad. Dominkive out."

OOC: Hopefully, this works.

IC:

Somewhere on the New Leningrad Section of the MacIntyre Line-

The Commander of the many Mannerheim-Class Defense Stations (upgraded Narn-types, with FTLi and lots of ND-made goodies) browsed around, drinking his gourmet coffee in the standard issue "#1 Dad" mug he had gotten on Father's Day. Ah, to be a Dad...sitting in an oasis admist a veritable desert of mines, he felt secure.

A call went out over the PA, however, that interrupted his caffinated bliss.

"Comrade-Admiral Barishnikov to the Bridge."

He got on the nearest lift, and approached the bridge, mug still in hand. The crew did not have good news.

"Comrade Admiral, there's something you must see...."

Barishnikov said, "Onscreen."

The screen revealed the Forward Scan Array, and it revealed unknown elements on the outermost edge of the System.

Barishnikov began to tremble, and his coffee nearly fell on the industrial-grade floor as he said, "Have they replied?"

The Crewman said, "No, Comrade Admiral."

"Anything from IFF?"

The Crewman replied, "Well...Comrade Admiral....analysis of scans indicates they are definetly not GFFA. Possibly Huntarian."

Alarms began going off, and the monitors flashed angry, panicky messages from other Station Commanders. It seemed they had discovered the enemy as well...

Barishnikov then said, "Arm the mines. Activate FTLi. Hail them."

The Crewman saluted and said, "Aye, Comrade Admiral."

----------

Outside, the Squeeze Box class mines began flashing colors, and their indicator lights turned an ominous red. In their Limited AI brains, meant to provide the best IFF and Guidance ND could buy, commands to target the foe were flashing about, and their ordinance awoke. They turned slightly, and their guidance systems, magnetically based and tractor-beam-based, were ready to move towards the foe.

Meanwhile, the whirring of Mannerheim FTLi Generators onboard every station in that section could be heard, as they began to project their fields all around them, enveloping that section of the Line in FTLi-ensuring the enemy would have to move in on sublight drives, making them more vulnerable to the mines.

Onboard the stations on the MacIntyre Line, red "ARMED" lights flashed over the command consoles for the FTLi and the Mines. The Stations also began activating their onboard weapons, temporal shields and abblative armor, though they knew that it would be up to the People's navy to finish this mess.

As for that bit, a message was wired, and two hundred ships from the Home Guard, and the Drama Casserole Class ship Oliver Law were called upon to respond. Thus, they began moving as fast as they could, hoping to reach the Line in time.

---------------------

Then, a reply came to the Huntarians:

"Foreign Vessels, you are entering the sovereign space of the Workers and Peasants of New Dornalia. Please state your business with us. Otherwise, pelase turn around. This is your only warning."

"Lord on the Bridge!"

"Raise shields, charge the turbolasers but don't arm them."

"My lord?"

"Do it tactical."

"Aye."

*Beep Beep* "My Lord, we're recieving a message from the New Dornalians,"

"Play it."

Then, a reply came to the Huntarians:

"Foreign Vessels, you are entering the sovereign space of the Workers and Peasants of New Dornalia. Please state your business with us. Otherwise, pelase turn around. This is your only warning."

"Send them a typed message. Buy us some time.... 'We're an heavy exploration fleet sent by our leaders. Our communication's are down and weapons disabled. Our navigation is destroyed and our impulse engines don't work properly. We require assistance. We request permission to cross into your boarders."

Barishnikov then said, "Seems alright. But then again, what did you say their nationality was again?"

The Crewman said, "Possibly Huntarian. Not Alliance, either."

Barishnikov then said in response to the Crewman, "Tell me then, what would an exploration fleet of the Huntarians be doing close to us? Only the worst...."

The crewman then said, "Not to mention, if their comms are down, then why did they respond?"

Barishnikov then said, "Update me on the status of naval reinforcements."

After a few minutes...

"The naval units are almost in range."

Barishnikov then said, "We can send in the ships, and make sure they're not dangerous. If they are so, then we can act. Hail them."

Barishnikov then replied, "Well, since you are damaged, we are sending ships in to escort you into our space, where further aid can be rendered. ETA 5 minutes. Do not move close to the border during this time. Repeat, do not move close."

OOC: I actually wasn't really involved with Aritash..... I let you two (Relative Liberty) slug it out.

The crewman then said, "Not to mention, if their comms are down, then why did they respond?"

OOC: They do have the ability to recieve communications, they "can't" transmit through normal channels. Why they've only responded more like an Email rather than audio, visual, or holographic. Remember Wrath of Khan? The Reliant sent messages to Enterprise without audio or visual transmissions.

Also, we'll plan more of this out OOCly durrin' lunch. When school's out, we can contact eachother other ways.

The Comm officer rapidly punched several buttons, and recieved the message.

"My Lord, they're requesting for us to hold our position untill a fleet arrives."

"Acknowledge them. We hold here."

"But.... We're suppose to invade their space. They don't attack us. We attack them."

::CREWMAN!!:: Dominkive's sudden "voice" command shushed the overtalkative ensign. ::SCILENCE. I know how to handle this senario. We let them come to us. We play dead. They come in and poke at us. We remain dead, untill the time is right. Is that understood Ensign?::

"Aye sir. Sending transmission."

We are awaiting your ships for inspection. We will remain here, outside the boarder and wait.

IC:

The ND Fleets arrived, and Barishnikov had them hold behind the line. He had a plan....

...since it would be suspicious and even wasteful to try and send all units at the same time, Barishnikov held most of the bigger units behind the lines. He then sent pickets of Zaitsev II ISDs forth through the minefield. As the mines' IFF Sensors were active, they didn't touch the Zaitsev's one bit as they sauntered through, and finally exited the field.

As they began their approach to the Huntarian lines, the leader of the Zaitsevs hailed the Huntarians, saying, "Huntarian Vessels, we hear you, and are coming to inspect."

Meanwhile, Barishnikov ordered the Zaitsevs, some 50 in all: "All Zaitsevs are to keep their guns at the ready. If this gets ugly...then you are to head straight back into the field, and engage the enemy from its confines. Do not risk open combat."

The Zaitsevs pulled up alongside selected vessels. As there were more Huntarians than Zaitsevs, which worried some, they moved to board the TIE Class Fleet Carrier, twenty of the Necrosis TSDs, and 20 of the Armada Battlecruisers.

The boarding parties that entered consisted of 50 man groups, made up of fully-equipped Marines, a few Border Patrol agents, and Acolytes to deal with Force sensitive matters. Everyone knew this was no ordinary stop and search, but they went ahead, armed and ready for trouble.....

Admiral Frishkill was sitting in her quarters when she got her alert.

::Admiral, they're boarding.::

Yes, my lord.

::Meet them in the hangar bay.::

Yes sir, Frishkill hated it when Dominkive gave her messages through the force. She couldn't exactly respond back. She knew the plan. What was about to happen. She grabbed her pistol and walked on out, but before she did she pushed a communication's button to the Carrier's Armory. "This is Admiral Frishkill, I want a platoon of Clones, and a squad of twelve Space Marines at the Hangar Bay. Prepair for boarding assault. This is a silent alert. Repeat, do not let them know of our objective." She walked out of her quarters and jumped as she ran into Kirtir Master Yussalami, "I didn't expect to see you Master Yussalami."

"Unusual Circumstance, Admiral. If the Dornalian Acolytes come aboard, you're going to need Devil's Ops by your side. And me. However, I won't be coming with you immediatly. My squad of twelve Warriors and Knights will be behind me. By the way, get your men to have their helmets on. We need to keep the enemy surprised, and only them. We don't want our troops to be.... Surprised by my move. Bring your visor. Wait for my move, then strike."

The Admiral didn't exactly know what the old Kirtir Master meant by "His move" but she assumed it was the signature move of Devil's Ops. when they raid buildings, compounds, and the like. She knew this was going to get ugly.

The boarding parties that entered consisted of 50 man groups, made up of fully-equipped Marines, a few Border Patrol agents, and Acolytes to deal with Force sensitive matters. Everyone knew this was no ordinary stop and search, but they went ahead, armed and ready for trouble.....

An hour later, the Admiral walked into the hangar bay where the New Dornalian boarding party landed. Before she entered, Yussalami put his arm in the middle of the doorway, "Remember.... Wait. The signal will begin as soon as you start walking down the ramp. Remember, 'Electrical Failure' are the key words."

"Right," the Kirtir Master removed his arm and she began to walk outside with a squad of Clones behind her. The rest of the Platoon was ready to follow, and the Space Marines were ready to go after them. Then, the Kirtir would march in after wards. More like.... "Jump," that is.

The party exited their Haywood dropship, and then began filing out, the Border Patrol agents in the lead, the Marines assembling into squads and the Acolytes escorting the BP agents as they walked up to the Admiral.

The lead Border Patrolman, a man named Johnson, said, "Agent Joe Johnson, New Dornalia Internal Security Bureau Border Patrol Division. I'm here to render assistance. What seems to be the trouble?"

The Acolytes, meanwhile, kept their hands on their sabers....they could sense something was up. Again, they didn't know quite what it was, but whatever was coming was bad news all over. The Marines, meanwhile, kept their guns at the ready, though this was more out of standard procedure than anything, and besides, their weapons were lowered, though ready to be raised-again, standard procedure.

The Admiral continued to walk towards the New Dornalian agents, and as she did, the lights behind her began to fade. They couldn't exactly see what was coming. Blackness began to engulf the Admiral's position.

"The Systems have been spontaniously activating, and deactivating. We've repaired the hulls, as you can see, but we can't repair the systems. It seems to be a type of Electrical Failure."

As she said those words, the lights above her turned to darkness. The Hangar bay was black. "What the hell?" She really wasn't expecting this part. However since the New Dornalians can't exactly see her, she drew her pistol and aimed it at Johnson's head.

"We seem to have a major black out. Emergency lights won't come on. It's.... Total Darkness."

It was at this moment whin Kirtir Master Yussalami sneaked into the hangar bay, and activated his lightsaber. The Acolytes only heard the activation noise, but they didn't see the blade. That's because Yussalami's blade was the ledgendary black crystal formed upon the volcano's of Hunxa.

He began his advanced with the rest of his squad behind him.

Johnson then said, "What the hell's going on!? Marines, initiate defensive procedures, Agents DiMaggio, Carlson, and Thorstad, stay with the Marines. Wait until the situation is clear."

Johnson then said to the Admiral, "I hope you can get this power failure resolved. We'd be willing to help...."

The Marines then assembled into a defensive circle, with IR Vision activated to see through the piercing darkness. The BP Agents, meanwhile, dashed into the middle of the Marine circle, helped by the Marines who coralled them in.

One of the Marines then contacted the Haywood, saying, "Turn on the floodlights." As the Haywood was meant to drop men and materiel into the situation no matter what climate or terrain, it had floodlights as standard issue. So, the onboard floodlights turned on, bringing a modicum of illumination to the battlefield. The Marine didn't know the Kirtir were in the area, he just wanted to shed some light....

The Acolytes activated their sabers, and held them facing forward. The sabers gave off a faint glow, but the Acolytes didn't need light to figure out a Kirtir was in the room. Johnson was a dumbass, but then again, he wasn't an Acolyte. They knew it was a trap. And, he had company.

Yussalami knew this would happen. ::Give 'em EMP,:: He orderd to his squad through the force. Suddenly, giant spheres were erupted from the Kirtir Squad, and was targeted at the New Dornalians. The attempt was to disable enemy visual sensors, and to nock out their boarding ship. It won't effect the guns, nor lightsabers.

The Marines switched on the flashlights on their guns, and lifted their visors-they were useless now. With what visibility was granted by the flashlights, they fired grenades out from their builtin 25mm grenade launchers at the enemy clones and Space Marines, and then fired away at the enemy, all while moving and seeking cover behind the Haywood Dropship.

The Border Patrolmen tried firing back with their pistols at the clones, and shot at the Admiral, screaming at her, "B**ch, we'll slap you down!"

The Acolytes, meanwhile, began using their powers to throw tools and heavy objects at the enemy clones while blocking their shots as best as possible with their Lightsabers, preferably at the heads or other vitals of the enemy. Still, they too began to seek cover, to hopefully try and prolong their lifespan.

Their attempts, while usefull, would be futile. The troops knew their ship, and knew it well. They knew the lay out. There will be no where to run.

All the meanwhile, the Huntarian Empire fleet moved in closer to surround the New Dornalian Fleet. Dominkives eyes were closed while the New Dornalians boarded their Tie Class Carrier... And opened when the Admiral fired at Johnson, "It has begun. Attack."

The Tyrant charged their heavy turbolasers, and activated it's tractor beams attempting to capture some of the ships of the enemy New Dornalian Fleet. Three of the Acolytes were taken down by the lightning, but the rest did their best to absorb the lightning with their sabers. Occupied by Yussalami, they were distracted, resulting in furtive attempts to throw heavy objects in the cargo bay at the incoming enemy. The Marines, meanwhile, and the Border Guards kept shooting and throwing grenades at the enemy, and braced themselves, taking cover behind the Haywood when they heard Yussalami calling for grenade attack.

All the while, one of the Acolytes Forcemessaged the Political Officer aboard his ship, instructing them to activate transporters and get them out manually. After all, several of the Border Patrolment complained their communicators were not working-this was the only way. Thus, engineering began to try and get a lock on them.....

OOC: I'll assume this is for the Zaitsevs-Technically, you're just facing a small element of Zaitsev II ISDs right now. Most of the bulk of my fleet is behind the MacIntyre Line (with its mines and defense stations), so you may want to adjust the wording on that slightly...

IC:

The Commander of the Zaitsev picket ordered lockdown procedures, and emergency forcefields, blastdoors, drone guns and Acolyte/Marine teams began to appear all over the picket, attempting to frustrate the enemy boarding parties by impeding their advance and opening fire on them, should they enter. Of course, the enemy tractor beams were getting nasty, having ensnared some, so the ensnared Zaitsevs fired back with Demolisher Guns, their own beams, and the occasional attempt to overcharge the shields in a massive pulse (all the while, gunning their engines in these attempts) to try and escape the enemies' grip.

The Commander then executed standard New Dornalian procedure, powering up his temporal shields and abblative armor to full, before ordering his ships that could move to move downwards as fast as possible, and then spread out ASAP to escape. The undeterred Zaitsevs began moving as fast as they could, shooting at enemy weapons and tractor beams with Demolisher Guns and conventional torpedoes. If things got dangerous, they would deploy Antimatter torpedoes, though not yet.

Meanwhile, the commander of the picket wired a message to Barishnikov-

"Comrade Admiral-we are under attack. Repeat, under attack. It was a trap. A bloody trap. Send help. We will try and escape."

Barishnikov then said, "So it begins. Call for reinforcements, wire a message to JRCCC HQ in San Diego. Tell them we are under attack from Huntaer, and we need reinforcements."

=============

San Diego, CA, Earth SSR-

The message traveled fast, and San Diego was abuzz. It became clear that the Huntarian Empire had launched a devious, dangerous attempt at attacking New Dornalia, by luring several inspection ships into an ambush.

Messages flew back and forth. It became clear that a) this was the big one, possibly the anticipated counterattack by Huntaer, and b)though things looked bad now, they would most certainly turn out worse later. And after what had happened at Jurai-well, the public didn't know about it yet, but the brass knew. They didn't want another one.

Voidkeeper Station, Minbar
The Voidkeeper was one of the many facilities guarding Minbar from enemy attack while the fleet was away, and at four klicks long it was bigger than most enemy capital ships to boot. It was made as a Minbari technology version of the Earther Babylon 5, a station where foreigners could come to talk to the central government of Minbar, the Grey Council, and also as one of the various military hubs of the Federation. With this most recent war between the Galactic Federation and the Empire, thousands of refugees from various worlds had come into Minbari space to be interred at Voidkeeper, and distress calls galaxywide from the war had come to Voidkeeper, only to be denied help.

This call, however, was different. The Dornalians, a staunch ally of Minbar through the Galactic Federation, had come under attack from the Huntarian Empire, one of the long arms of Palpatine. This distress call was routed to the top Satai Shais of the Federation, who were the family head of the Wind Riders clan, the warrior caste member of the Grey Council, and the best strategist in Minbar. The response was unanimous; deploy to Dornalia. Voidkeeper's records showed the fourth Quick Response Fleet was immediately available, so the orders were transmitted as quickly as possible to the lead ship of the Seventh, a Valen'Zha class called Hawk's Talon.

"San-Alyt, this is Battlestation Voidkeeper, please respond."

On Hawk's Talon
San-Alyt Rennon recieved the urgent message from Battlestation Voidkeeper with a start, he did not expect any orders, seeing as Minbar usually denied requests for assistance.

"This is Hawk's Talon, San-Alyt Rennon speaking." he said into his speaker.

"Rennon, we have recieved a distress call from New Dornalia. You are to take your fleet and deploy immediately to New Leningrad, jump your fleet to the rear of the Huntarian fleet and assist the Dornalians at any cost. Our intelligence shows that Huntaer uses Imperial technology, and we are much higher technologically than they are. Be warned, though, they have at least one thousand ships. Other GFFA members are expected to respond shortly."

"Yes, Voidkeeper. Hawk's Talon out."

Minbari Fourth Quick Response Fleet
Rennon's voice crackled out over all the executive officer's speakers, stating, "All ships: We are deploying to the New Leningrad system at these coordinates, Prepare for battle. Get into phalanx formation and ready all fighters. Rennon out."

The fleet formed up in their standard Minbari phalanx formation, with the lighter ships like White Stars and Tinashis forming up the lead, followed by the main block of Sharlins and Shargoti Sharlins, and at the lead of that formation was the Valen`Zha class, "Hawk's Talon."

Fifty-one jump points formed at the fleet formation as the Fourth QRF went to jump space. Using the Minbari jumpspace at full burn, New Leningrad was at least half an hour's drive away. There were certainly other GFFA members closer to New Dornalia, but the question was, could they get ships there in time?

OOC:Huntaer, my fleet's composition is the same one as I posted in the GFFA boards, but add a Valen`Zha class command ship. My stats are, as always, in the GFFA library.

For the longest of times, the Dornalians and Abh had been great allies where help was only a quick jump away. All that was needed was to ask for help and they would be there to stand firm against there comrades and defend their home against any darkness. So it was that their cry for help was heard and it would be answered.

Above the lively planet of D'Hara, ships hovered about waiting for assignments and numbering. Squadrons were constantly being formed and renumbered as more ships rolled off of the assembly lines. The throne of D'Hara sat empty as Lord Rahl was away but a suitable replacement for the time being was present. Death's Mistress worked effortlessy over parchment and candlelight. Her graceful hand signed the line below allocating several ships to the defense of the Dornalian system in Leningrad a message was also being sent to the Klington fleet that was supposed to meet with them.

A jump gate orbiting the planet flared to life and a wave of Abh ships poured into hyperspace making their way to Leningrad.

"FIRE!" And he himself shut off his lightsaber, inorder to deliver more painfull blows of orange/red electricity towards enemy. His goal, to drain the life of his enemies. Gainig it for himself. ::Follow Suit!!!:: He shouted to his Kirtir Comrades. Some used the Drain technique, while others used lighting, electricuting a single target, and force storm (the next stage up from Lightning), targeted at multiple enemies (OOC: According to KOTOR 1 & 2, there is no limit to the extent of how many people are hit by force storm. Pick and choose ND)

The Clones stoped their main bullet fire, and switched to grenade bombardment upon the order. The front row bent down, took aim, and fired into the enemy with precision. When they were down, they backed off, revealing the next line. And then they fired. Then the next line, and the next, rotaiting untill the first line was first again. While each line lost a few grenaders, the next line made up for the loss. This process was repeated over and over untill the Enemy will be no more.

The Space Marines, however, provided as superior targets for enemy fire. The Lasers were absorbed by shielding and armor, and the bullets were stoped. The Mk II Tactical Dreadnaught Armor, based upon the origonal Space Marine TDA, was much more efficient.

A few did, however, die. But it wasn't enough to make Yussalamiri and the Admiral to be concerned. In the Dark, the Admiral took another aim at Johnson's head and fired.

All the while, one of the Acolytes Forcemessaged the Political Officer aboard his ship, instructing them to activate transporters and get them out manually. After all, several of the Border Patrolment complained their communicators were not working-this was the only way. Thus, engineering began to try and get a lock on them.....

"My lord, unusual signatures from the fleet. I think it's fighters."

"Send out the Darts and Enforcers from the Carrier. Just those will hold 'em off for a good while."

OOC: Correct friend.

IC:

The Huntarian ships, continued their formation. The Heavy turbolasers aimed for any shielding emmitters and bridges of enemy ships. The regular Turbolasers kept the enemy's turbolasers occupied.

In responce to the ND attacks, the Tyrant fired out her transphasic torpetoes. Hoping to break through enemy shielding.

Both sides knew, this will be one hell of a bloody battle.

[quote]

"Dominkive, my lord, they're sending distress signals to their home planet."

"Get 'em locked. No one else recieves the messages."

"Jam theirs too. No one else gets into the system if it can be helped."

"What about their force wielders my lord? They can send messages that way too you know. Can't you do anything about it?"

"San-Alyt, We are not detecting any FTL inhibitors in preliminary scans of the system. We also have word that the Abh Empire is sending a reinforcement fleet to the Dornalians as well."

"Yes, yes..Pull us out of jumpspace when we reach the outskirts of the system, I don't want to be surprised by any sudden FTL inhibitors. Accelerate to point four c and open fire when we're at our maximum engagement range. Empire tech isn't great as far as engagement range is concerned and our weapons are much faster than the Imperials. Prepare the mass drivers for use on their main ship, I believe the Sharlins are already loaded with a fair size rock. The Huntarians have changed up the design of the Imperial Star Destroyer, and they no longer have vulnerable command towers. All ships are to target the engines of the Imperial vessels when we jump out. You have that, ensign?"

"Yes, San-Alyt. We will be exiting jumpspace in approximately three minutes."

The combined effects of Force Lightning, Drain Life, and Force Storm, which hit ten of the New Dornalians (five Marines, five Acolytes) were beginning to be felt, and the next BP Agent was wondering when this would end.

The Acolytes, meanwhile, knew that if they wanted to die, they would die fighting. Thus, though weakened, they stood their ground, using Force heal on their numbers and on those Marines that had either not died, been severely wounded, or run out of ammo. They also began using their own Force Shock, Force Throw, and Force Choke powers on the Space Marines to buy themselves some time. They were not as effective as the Kirtir's powers to be sure, but it was the best they had.

The Zaitsevs' shields and abblative armor held off most of the turbolasers, heavy and conventional, though onboard, the effects could be felt, with minor or less damage to the targeted areas. Nothing the ND nanoregenerative matrices onbard couldn't handle. The transphasic torpedoes were something else; the shields were only slightly useful against them, defeating only half, and that was with the help of the Gauss Guns. The rest slammed into the abblative armor, which soaked up most of the damage, but left minor damage to the ships in general.

They continued to try and make good their escape. Having gone underneath, and as the enemy held formation, they turned to face the enemy, and begin moving backwards towards the MacIntyre Line in as good an order as possible, making a boxlike formation to cover themselves better. They then began firing Demolisher Guns, ignoring the enemy conventional turbolasers, and firing at shield and tractor beams, along with deployment of the fearsome People's Hammer Antimatter torpedo to try and really make a dent in things. They also prepped their Gauss Guns to begin hunting TIEs; this could get ugly.

"Dominkive, my lord, they're sending distress signals to their home planet."

Several of the comms officers began to report problems with the communicators. They screamed, "Comrade Admiral! Our communications are down. We cannot communicate with HQ. Comms with the Zaitsevs are spotty. We are facing difficulties."

Barishinikov thought hard, and then said, "Get our resident Acolyte master up here."

The onboard PA system still worked, so there was a chance to get the local master in.

As it turned out, she came. A tired looking woman, she said, "You interrupted my meditation...what is it?"

Barishnikov then said, urgently: "Master Goldfarb. We're facing troubles. The comms are out, we can't get a signal to the fleet or to our allies. Can you act?"

Goldfarb then sighed, and said, "Well...I can probably band the team together, mediate and deliver a message."

Barishnikov then said, "That's good. Tell any ally that arrives to be careful, we have FTLi set up to prevent the Huntarians from getting in. Then, I'll need you to keep on going until we can unjam the comms, understood?"

Goldfarb then said, "I'll see what I can do."

She then sure enough, went into meditation along with her team, and later, sent a Force message to any and all allies, sensing the presence of incoming friendlies through the Force (ooc: If that seems a bit much, I can fix that, but that should be possible with the Force. Also, this is mainly for the Minbari). The message said, simply: "Incoming friendlies, this is Master Christine Goldfarb, People's Acolytes. We thank you for your arrival. Be aware there are FTLi fields up in our section of the MacIntyre Line, so be careful when you get here."

The same black whitestar that was at Jurai, glided through Hyperspace towards its final destination in New Dornalia. It was most likely that the fierceness of the fighting had only intensified since receiving the transmission. They were now coming up on the jump point to enter the system. By now Richard should already be back home if nothing had detained him.

"Sir, we are detecting local FTLi fields."

"Type?"

"Unknown at the moment. It is possible that it could only be geared for the Imperial style of travel."

Doron sat there for a moment lulling over the options for some time. "Bring us out of Hyperspace now. I don't want to take the chance that we are forced out when unprepared. We'll hump the rest of the way in."

Jump points opened all across Dornalia territory as the Abh attack squadron pulled out. "Paryunu destroyers to the back. Whitestar fleet on full burn."

Off in the distance, flashes of light could be seen from the battle up ahead. It wouldn't be long before the Abh fleet was in range to link up with their comrades.

In the rear lines-

The rear of the MacIntyre Line, where the bulk of the fleet was based, witnessed a concentration of some of New Dornalia's best. They could only witness in horror like deaf-mutes at the action going on, their communications with Barishnikov taken down by the enemy, though engineering was working on trying out multiple frequencies and different energy bursts to defeat the jamming.

Onboard the mighty Oliver Law, one of New Dornalia's formidable Drama Casserole Ubercarriers, Commodore Jessica Yi was in command, trying to sort things out. Like Barishnikov, she was caught between a rock and a hard place by the sudden cutting off of communications, and like Barishnikov, she had had the idea of using People's Acolytes to send Force messages.

Her helmswoman said, "Comrade-Commodore. We are detecting incoming vessels. They are unknown, but more than likely, they're friendlies."

Yi then said, "Keep scanning. Master Roshi," she said as she turned to an old man meditating on the bridge, "try and use the Force to figure out if they're friendly."

All she had to do was wait for the allies to come in...

More ships had arrived than were promised and the simple whitestar squadron was proof enough with a hundred strong followed closely by the Victory destroyers, Rambirds, Abh missle cruisers, and Paryunu destroyers.

Doron sat at the helm waiting to open a communication channel. "Anything yet?"

"Nothing sir. It is possible that we just came into range of the enemy's jammers."

The Gauss Guns fired at the torpedoes, defeating a number of them, but still feeling the shock from the results. Still, some got through, slamming on the shields and causing great stress on them, reducing them by 30%-50%. The abblative armor still held, but it suffered some damage as well.

All in all, the Zaitsevs continued to do what they did before, gunning their engines, firing back, and moving backwards into their minefield. Once they appeared inside, the defenses would activate; the onus would be on the Huntarians to come forth.

Fourth Quick Response Fleet
"San-Alyt, we have detected localised FTLi fields. We are exiting jumpspace now."

"Yes," Rennon said while pressing his fleetwide communicator, "All ships, we are exiting jumpspace now. Open fire on the rear of the Huntarian lines and focus fire on smaller ships, intelligence believes that Imperator-class Star Destroyers are very weak to our gravitic neutron guns, so stick to those. Rennon out."

The Seventh Quick Response fleet, in the standard Minbari swirling blue vortex of energy, left jump space, all fifty-one ships. Upon first sight it looked like the Minbari fleet paled in comparison to the massive Huntarian fleet assembled before them, and as the first shots of large diametre gravitic neutron guns leapt out of the gunports of the Sharlin class. It was rumoured that the Sharlin class could destroy a standard Imperial Star Destroy in one full salvo.

Mass drivers prepared to fire their loaded kinetic projectiles, loading them into the guns and preparing for fire. The ranges were still too great for kinetic projectiles, although when the acceleration got to c-fractions, the weapons would become much more effective. The Minbari were not ones for missiles, but the Sharlins had four missile launchers which were loaded for firing.

The Empire would burn today..

Also, the MacIntyre Line is ready to begin firing at the enemy ships as soon as the Huntarians come close to the minefield."

Barishnikov then said, "Come on...follow them into the minefield...."

Goldfarb, who was still meditating, said, "What if they do not follow?"

Barishnikov then said, "Then send this to Roshi, and send it to the Abh. Tell them that if the Huntarians do not follow the Zaitsevs into the minefield, then our forces will move through it. Commodore Yi will take the center thrust, the Abh and part of the New Dornalian fleet the Left, and the Minbari and another part the right. Understood?"

Once the Huntarians enter the minefield, we will let the mines and defenses go at them, and engage them usign distance weapons.

Once Admiral Barishnikov or Commodore Yi determines it is time, we will begin the assault, Commodore Yi's Oliver Law will take the center thrust, the Abh and part of the New Dornalian fleet the Left, and the Minbari and another part the right. If the Huntarians do not enter the minefield, we will attack anyway by moving through the minefield, using it as a fallback zone, and move aggressively as fast as possible. Understood? I would not worry."

One of the Acolytes screamed, "INCOMING!" recognizing the very nasty threat that was coming. The Acolytes got down immediately, ducking, rolling, and throwing another wave of Force attacks upon the Space Marines, all the while moving to the side. The Marines, meanwhile, also began shooting at the enemy...

"Right. Run fools," Yussalami then threw the big ball of energy at the enemy squads.

More troopers fell, the first row of clones were officially dead, the second row was half-alive. However, there was no need for concern. This ship is well protected by its onboard troops. Half of the Space Marines were gone, but the others were fighting more ferociously. For their fallen comrads....

The teleporters went into action, and soon, several of the Marines and Border Guards dissapeared in a cloud of light, as transporters are wont to do. Meanwhile, another group of Marines was targeted by the light, and began phasing away...

"What the hell!?!" The Admiral watched as some of their enemy Marines and Boarder Guards dissapeared. She's heard of this type of technology, but never thought of it to be actually possible. She was unaware that the
empire was capable of this type of technology.

Mainly because they haven't implimented it yet on starships. Quite a waste too.... Yussalami, however, was aware. What he wasn't aware of was that the New Dornalians had transporting technology. He was taken by surprise, but not in a way which would defect him from fighting.

OOC: Forgot this bit. My bad.

IC:

The Gauss Guns fired at the torpedoes, defeating a number of them, but still feeling the shock from the results. Still, some got through, slamming on the shields and causing great stress on them, reducing them by 30%-50%. The abblative armor still held, but it suffered some damage as well.

All in all, the Zaitsevs continued to do what they did before, gunning their engines, firing back, and moving backwards into their minefield. Once they appeared inside, the defenses would activate; the onus would be on the Huntarians to come forth.

OOC: By gunning their engines, do you mean that the Zaitseves are running away, or that they are shooting at the Empire engines? Slightly confusing. If it's the second, it's rather impossible considering how all huntarian vessels are facing towards you.

The message was received by Doron and the Abh fleet moved into position with the two Paryunu's taking up the rear of the Abh line on the left. "All Whitestars and Rambirds to the front. Run the configuration link through my froch only." Doron was a whirl as he began barking out orders for the fleet and the crew on the bridge.

Victory Destroyers moved to the outside flank along the missle cruisers in a sort of "U" formation. The Abh fleet moved up to link with the Dornalian fleet and waited for the signal to begin.

OOC: Its number one. They just want to get away from your ships, before any further damage occurs.

More of the Marines were teleported off; now, only a few Marines, and the Acolytes were left to contend with the enemy. And even these were undergoing transport, as they too began to dissapear in blue lights...

Commodore Yi then sent 12 Mao Zedong IIIs, 12 Prochkhorovka IIs, 12 Trotsky Escorts, plus 12 Relay Mobile Suit Carriers, to join the Abh, using Roshi and his Acolyte staff to Forcemessage each commander. She then prepared a similar number to join the Minbari, Roshi sending a Forcemessage similar to that he sent the Abh and Goldfarb providing static to cover up the traffic. The remaining 75 vessels (25 were Zaitsevs engaged in battle) were kept with Yi.
