The Kingdom of Spain
History
Late 2006: Falange Espanola de los JONS and Falange Autentico announce a union and take up the standards of Carlism and traditionalism under the name Unión tradicional de la falange.
January 2007: The immediate Royal Family dies in a plane crash while on their way to Italy for a ski vacation in the Alps. Prime Minister Zapatero proclaims Spain a republic and refuses to recognize anyone as legitamite Spanish King.
February 2007: Unión tradicional de la falange inspires protests and demonstrations throught urban Spain. Zapatero agrees to have a plebiscite.
March-May 2007: UTF gains overwhelming support due to its strong traditionalist views and its plan for reviving the Spanish economy and creating a second Desarrollo.
June 2007: The plebiscite is held and the people show overwhelming support for the recreation of the Kingdom under a majority rule by UTF.
July 2007: The new government enters into service and Sixto Enrique de Borbon y Borbon Busset, the Carlist pretender, is crowned King of Spain. Diego Marquez, leader of the UTF is made Prime Minister.
Late 2007: UTF and King Sixto I Enrique move the country closer to Catholicism and give the monarchy more power in the government.
Early 2008: UTF founds a branch in Portugal called União tradicional do Phalange de Portugal.
Middle 2008: Spain gives large amounts of money to UTFdP in preparation for the upcoming elections.
Late 2008: UTFdP gains a significant minority and becomes a vocal part of Portugals government. Spain begins covert research into Nuclear weapons after attaining Nuclear power for some years.
Early 2009: Regionalism is given creedance as part of Carlist tradition and the regions of Spain are given more autonomy while the Madrid district is put under direct rule by the King. The King has the power to appoint all Regional Presidents and begins moving the nation towards feudalism once again.
Late 2009: Feudal titles are given creedance and King Sixto I Enrique appoints the first nobles with power since Alfonso XIII fled Spain.
2010: Spain experiences an upturn in its economy as it disassociates itself from the Euro and moves back to the Spanish Peso. The Carlist ideas of Communion and industry are combined and many communitys in Spain begin running community led corporations and decreasing the unemployed percentage.
2011: UTF is given a 93% majority and is in control of every town and regional council. Movement towards a strictly Western Abrahmic(Judaism, Catholicism, and other forms of Christianity) state. The Military budget is increased. Spain detonates her first atomic weapon and by the end of the year has created more than five hundred inter-continental nuclear missiles.
2012: The Military budget is increased and all members of the armed forces are forced to take an oath to the King instead of the constitution.
2013: The Military budget is increased and legislation is passed to require that all Spanish men serve seven years reserve duty or one year active duty and two reserve duty within two years of reaching their eighteenth birthday.
2014: King Sixto I Enrique takes the royal form His Catholic Majesty as opposed to the more common His Royal Majesty.
