OOC: First try at this shit... Help!
Kamsland is a small Slavic nation, formed by Field Marshall Kam - Who declared it's independance after capturing every city in that country, at the cost of a lot of lives. Based on the idealogy of the former terrorist group called the Killuminati, Kamsland hosts roughly ten million people and boasts a fair economy.
The Killuminati is an organization dedicated to raising money - in any way possible to the betterment of people. An agenda is not clearly defined. The Killuminati was created because of poverty and oppression, and now with Kamsland independant and thriving, the Killuminati serves no purpose aside from being used as a tool of propaganda to other regions that can be subjected to dissent because of their own state of wealth. The Killuminati is really a thief, but a good one - Like Robin Hood.
Service in the armed froces is manditory, and any healthy youth aged 18 services the nations army for a period of two years minimum. The economy of Kamsland also thrives very well of off the various Arms Manufacturing industries, specializing in assault rifles, cost-friendly close air support aircraft, and there's even work being done on nuclear warheads.
Kamsland, being a small nation with no coastlines, has a light Navy of about 60 PT boats - fast and lightly equiped - their main use is to Police rivers. Because of it's size, the Navy's main specialization is in intelligence. The Marines, 1 Brigade in strength, are used by the Navy to police the mainland of Kamsland - they specialize in counter-intelligence with strikes against drug trafficing and illegal imports/exports - Most of which is collected by the Marines after a raid is called "the bounty", which is placed on the black market and sold to neighbouring nations. Lt. General Slovanovski is the Cheif of the Navy, he's loyal to his cause, and a master in the game of trade. Most of what he sells comes back to him to be sold again.
The Army consists of 4 divisions, working under the doctrine of mobility focus. The army is lightly equiped, with heavy foucs on the infantry getting from place to place rather then showing off big guns. The army has sold all of it's captured T-72 tanks and other accessories of the civil struggle, and bought a large number of trucks to create two fully motorized divisions. There's also a fair number of APC's in service creating one mechanized division. The rest of the surplus was spent on transport/attack helicopters, and one fully functional Air-Cav division was created to serve Camsland. Too compensate for the lack of heavy armour in the army, full control of the Air Force was given. The air force boasts roughly 250 CAS (CloseAirSupport) planes, made by the nation for the nation. They're really a rip-off of the A-10 Warthog. There's also a two wings of interceptors, also made by Kamsland, that mainly serve as a counter for enemy bombers. The interceptors are made to be fast, carry a low payload, are built small, and are built on a budget. Feild Marshall Kam runs this show.
Kamsland, while growing, feels threatened - and the government knows... War makes money. An army is slowly being errected to change the way our locals play politics.
