Now, more than ever
Polockistan's recent tragedy led to a special election for Chief Minister. With the assassination of long-time Chimin Nathan Barrett, a void was left, both in the government and in our hearts.
But now, we have a new Chief Minister to fill that void. Saul Meggido, former Minister of Education, was elected by popular majority yesterday, and will take his place as Chief Minister beginning on Monday. Many believe that Meggido will take a strong position on education, and institute laws forcing all children, regardless of race, religion, or upbringing, to attend school until age 18, whereas the current mandatory schooling ends at 16, followed by compulsory civil service for two years.
Congratulations, Chimin Meggido.
