now re-settled on a world in the Federal Union the people of Kirisubo could pick up where they left off.
with them having mandatory military service getting the people was no problem although they would need more training to bring them up to the standards of the exploration fleet.
in an orbital shipyard supplied by the Federal Union they were building 20 ships of the Kurakka class at the same time that would be NX-08 to NX-28. names had yet to be assigned to these vessels that was the backbone of the defence fleet.
Basically agile gun platforms they would be upgraded to carry phaser banks which would let them match the firepower of most hostiles they would encounter.
Admiral Tanegashima looked out the window of her office in the shipyard as she seen the steel grey hulls taking shape.
