''Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name...'' could be heard from the Cathedral of St. Gregory Nazianzus. The Emperor could be seen from his pew, with his wife and children. He was a member of the Orthodox Church, Orthodoxy and the Free Church (based upon Anglicanism from England, I guess) were the state churches. Catholicism was a minority as was Protestantism.
The Emperor finished the service and left for his palace in New Constantinople. He was greeted by the Byzantine Guard, an elite guard for the Imperial Family.
The Emperor, Emperor John IX was known for his humble nature and his kindness in ruling his people as an absolute Emperor. His wife, Empress Janet was known for her charitable work and other things, both were respected.
When he entered the Palace, he decided to walk with his wife, his children going to have fun or study for school or what not.
The Emperor talked to his wife about things like how thankful they were for their family for example.
OOC-I am still planning out my nation, so I may change things. Also, am I doing good so far?
