F-420B Smoke Fighter

The F-420B Smoke is an upgrade of the original F-420 fighter. It has been improved in several areas, ntably the avionics, engines and ovberall aerodynamics. Like the original, it is coated with a special stealth coating,and the F-420B appears to be much smaller on radar than it actualy is, giving it an advantage in combat. The foward canards and advanced 4-way thrust vectoring engines make it an excelent dogfighter. It has a weapons bay which holds 6 AMRAAMS or 3 JDAM bombs. Carrying weapons in the bay increasesstealth, but it can also hold 4 Sidewinders on the wings and 4 Phoenix missiles under the engines, a top of the line phased array radar has been inculded to target the Phoenix missiles. The Smoke is available in a carrier capable verison(F-420C) and can be refueled by the hose and drouge method or the flying boom method while in flight. It features carbide armor around the crew compartment and an ACES 7 ejection seat.
