United Canadia

John Cora looked at his ministers around the table and sighed. The new nation of United Canadia after receiving no international trade from anyone for its two months history was now being plagued by rampant crime. All crimes were way up around the country.

John Cora said" We need a state of emergency declared to get the army out before someone looses their life in this outbreak of crime. We need a curfew from midnight to 8 a.m. anddrastic arrest moves after 4 a.m."

His ministers nodded.

---------------

In Toronta three armed men walked into the bank. The leader pointed his pistol at a bank security guard firing twice striking the young security guard in the stomach. Several screams could be heard from scared bankers as the two other men went to the nearest tellers and ordered them to fill the bags. As the did so the one who fired the shots spotted the bank manager moving in his office and fired several shots from his pistol striking the man in the shoulder. The man clutching his shoulder was able to hit 9 1 1 and told them the situation. However, as police officers arrived the three armed men had disappeared and the two injuried men were ferried to ambulances and taken to hospitals.

------------

Campton, Ontario, United Canadia:

Two men walked with a bag of marijuna in their brown bag. They were undercover police officers who were dropping off dope to a gang area in the town of 24,000. They dropped the bag on a bench when four armed men opened fire with pistols. The two men pulled their issued pistols and they returned fire. However one of the police officers was struck in the chest and in the arm and collapsed. The second police officer fired and shot one of the four gunmen in the left leg near the thigh. The second police officer then had a bullet graze his head and another two shots hit him in the midsection.

By the time ambulances and crouds arrived, the injured gangmember had left with the drugs and one police officer was already dead and another wounded.

Government troops numbering around about 400 positioned themselves around the capital. About a dozen checkpoints were set up outside the capital and another half-dozen were set up in the city.

Sgt Martiz and his patrol noticed four men and women who seemed to be suspicious. As they approached the four people they took off and the eight soldiers chased after the four men and women and soon cornered them and arrested them and found illegal drugs and a hand gun on their persons.

Elsewhere in the country, another 2,000 soldiers were deployed to numerous towns and cities.

In Charlia Quebec, the body of an elderly lady was found by a soldier patrol as her door had been left ajar. And with a population of 700 people it hadn't been surprising to see the door open but on closer inspection they found the elderly lady with a knife in her neck. They notified the police department and the police arrived to begin investigation.

(Violence has left 2 people dead, 5 wounded and 4 detained by authorities)

This was a three day spree of violence that had gone in the capital of Toronta and elsewhere in the country of United Canadia. And since no assembly for politics had been built yet and since this was a federation parts of the maritimes, and Quebec as well as in Ontario itself were deciding to break away from this newly independent nation because of the gang violence that had claimed the lives of 11 people. So far at the moment these voices were extremely small.

Twenty soldiers from the army had their rifles raised as the two cars in front of them had slowly pulled to the side. The army had just received reports that four young women had rushed a car dealership and took the keys to two expensive trucks and had fled, nearly running over several pedestrians in the process.

The soldiers barked commands at the four women and after several minutes the four women appeared from the two vehicles with their arms raised and they were quickly detained.

A small group of PROHT peacekeepers walked into John Cora's office, while the rest took up armed gard around the planes they arrived in.

A fairly large, slightly somber Captain wlked up to President Cora's desk:

"Hello, my name is Captian Dimitri, these are a few of my associates. We stopped by to make sure both parties agree to the terms and conditions of our peacekeeping operation. PROHT priveately funds these operations, and they generally are never cheap, for some reason wherever a revolt is someone is going to try and invade. Our goal is to discourage that while improving your image and economy, while helping to settle such things as crime. In return, the PROHT government asks for a reletively small fee. We currently have 5 troopships with a full division of marines aboard, they will be here within a week but have been ordered to do nothing until their action has been approved by the nation state of United Canada."

He pulls out a few papers and a pen, then hands them to Mr. Cora.
