Stellar Nations makes Re-Appearance

((Probably Re-Re-Re-Appearance or something like that.... Meh. And i'm making up a bunch of it, so just ignore what actually happened. That doesn't matter any more))

WHen the Stellar Nations were last heard from, they were fleeing from an onslaught from many nations. Their allies had been wiped out or conquered, and their military, oversized as it may have been, was massively decimated, millions of servicemen and servicewomen killed in action, and hundreds of thousands missing in action. Three worlds had been lost, and the fourth barely evacuated in time. Out of a combined population of over fifteen billion, less than a billion made it out alive or unconquered.

That was one hundred, seventy four years, three months, and six days ago, Terran standard.

Stellar Nations has recovered, as much as possible in the time, and has decided it would be a good time ton show itself to the outside world. A small ship, only with a hundred or so crewmen and a diplomatic party, with minimal weapons, emerged from FTL drive in an empty spot of space and began broadcasting this message:

"This is a diplomatic envoy of the Stellar Nations. We wish to make peacable contact with any nations willing. If you are interested, send a ship to the following co-ordinates. Be warned that if you come in force, we will retaliate in kind."

The message was followed by a string of co-ordinates giving the location of the ship. It was now time to wait for a response.

"Stellar nations...theyre in the databanks captain, shall we return their message" asked Ensign Fitcher as Captain Collek of the Bekhaeran Empire vessel, the S.S. Succubi returned hoem from protecting a small nation on the brink of civil war

"Very well relay this message to them: We The Holy Empire of Bekhaera's High Guard vessel the Succubi wish to extend a hand of friendship and alliance with you, we come with the intent of peaceful relations"Captain Collek said "Head towarsd these co ordinates they sent..seems to be in unknown space..be careful ensign"

Seeing the message, it was decided that after a century of sitting turtled in their own little galaxy, they should take this opportunity to reach out to the rest of the universe. So, they responded in a brief, concise fashion: "We are the Dominion of Arcadeos and we will meet with you." And thus, a ship was dispatched to the aforementioned coordinates.

"Sir, two responses so far. Both seem peaceful"

"If they aren't?"

"They are not large. We shouldn't have to worry."

"Good. Acknowledge their responses and send greetings."

"They replied sir... should we get within holo screen view to establish talks?" asked Ensign Fitcher

Collek looked at him and merely nodded,The Succubi sped into hyperspeed to get near the Stellar Nation signal that sent their message back

The INS Emperor's Fist, an Interdictor-class Battlecruiser, picked up the signal while on patrol on the outskirts of Imperial space. Contact with other space faring empires was rare for the Ftagn people, as the extreme xenophobic militarism inherent in their Imperium usually scared off most other nations. Engaging it's quantum tunneling drive [ooc:don't ask me how it works...], the Battlecruiser disappeared from the known universe to make the first contact with an outside power in a hundred years...

OOC: Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news...but...

Your population isn't even close to five billion.

OOC:If that's pointed at me, and If your read that correctly, you'd realise that I only had just over a billion people left, leaving it at *checks* my current population. I just re-started everything, chucking 99% of what I had out the window, including my previous history and such.

The was the first of sixteen battlecruisers to be completed for the Republic of Rashari's 1st Fleet. Fleet Command was busy constructing the rest of the 1st Fleet which would evenually include one-hundred and nine ships including a Mothership with Fleet Command onboard. With little threat to Amacore Galactic Cluster on the edge of known space, Rashari was allowed to explore the universe in peace. The [I]Dominators maidian voyage would be a mission of peace to make contact with other interstellar nations. Though a battlecruiser was not the most diplomatic ship to send the Rashari government decided that they would show strength rather weakness in it diplomacy. She dropped out of slipstream in the middle of middlespace between systems.

"Set a course for the Stellar Nation starship. Open a channel, This is Captain Fredrickson of the Republic of Rashari onboard the RSV Dominator we are on a mission of exploration. We received you communication of diplomatic relations I was wondering if we could open relations between our two nations." With that the Captain left the current occupants with the responsibility of replying to his inquiry.

[OOC: Errm. So? If this is directed towards Steller Nations, and his fifteen billion, then: Really, what sort of interstellar empire would have just a 3 billion population? It just wouldn't make sense for FT.

OOC: It's a moot point, whether it 'makes sense' or not. It doesn't make sense for my galactic overlord dude not to have a weapon that can destroy a galaxy. And yet I don't have one.
