+++The beat-up television switched off, courtesy of a remote held in the beefy, mottled hand of General Adrianne Hawkings, an imposing figure of an iguana, his signature sunglasses perched atop his head, and his uniform's sleeves rolled up. The matching peaked hat lay nearby, on top of a coffee table with some Chai tea and a plate of unfinished mango slices nearby.
+++He grunted sourly, musing over the relative success of the unification. They'd hammered out the constitution over the past few months--quite literally, sometimes--establishing a temporary military government to stem the tide of insurgency, but would replace it with a more confederate government after a period of five years. Currently, he was the head of the ragtag bunch the ASIF referred to as its "military." It was really laughable, however, as the heaviest units Adrianne had could be counted on one hand, and he knew all of their crews by name. That might not be a bad thing, but the mere fact that he was able to do that said a lot.
+++"We're gonna need some help with this," he rumbled. Of course, being so close to Jamaica, it rather sounded like "Wi gwanah nee' sah 'elp wit dis."

C'mon, people. D: Anything. Economic aid, military aid, medical aid, whatever, this country needs it all.

Well, maybe not economic in terms of strict cash, but it could use an infrastructure upgrade, considering its main industry is fish farming. Like Chile. ]

His Majesty’s Government welcomes the new confederation and would like, with permission, to dispatch a diplomatic envoy that would represent the United Kingdom of Oceania in negotiations to establish diplomatic and economic relations. If the nation will allow it, then Jenrakian will buy a sizable portion of land off your hands, and we shall build a city upon it. Upon that city we can assist in economic and military assistance. Remember that the city will be viewed as Jenrakian property, however.

Deciding it was better than watching the raid going on a few blocks north of his house, he stepped toward the Toshiba laptop and brought up the Thunderbird client, whose message had by now retracted into the taskbar. Pulling up a rolling office chair, he sent a reply to each inquiry.

IC:I, Schnapsemarschall Hallget of Boozia, am happy to see a military government which, like my own, isn't some kind of Neo-Nazi megafest, and we will give anything we can spare to help you with your current plight. Like second fleet and a marine general combat brigade, that's a lot. Although unfortunately, we aren't very... good at diplomacy. Unless it's over a frothing beer and a frankfurter, and a lot of people say that's not proper diplomacy. But I'm sure a squad of our military aid will be enough to pacify a street by marching down it with its gasmasks set to "darth-vader mode".

What do you say?

OOC: I haven't fought too many wars on NS, but I know a decent amount about military hardware and warfare.

Are you an island nation? If you are, or if you have a coast, I can send a Marine battalion to train with you. I think a mechanized or motorised regiment is overkill though.
A good idea is to figure out how many troops you have, how they're organized, and what they're equipped with and go from there. I'm putting together a "practice" war with another nation for sometime next week (RL week) so you might want to get in on that.

[ I still need to hammer down the map. I'm thinking small archipelago, though.

I, Archduke Alexander of Grabinia, hereby offer your nation military assistance in the form of a datatchment of the 1st Royal Guards' regiment ("Blackguards"), consisting of 100 infantrymen.

As part of the Royal Guard, these soldiers are highly trained, with an emphasis on low-intensity warfare and urban conflicts. They are not many, but you will find even fewer that are better equipped or trained.

In exchange for some currency I could also offer a small amount of additional weapons for your military or police forces from our spare stocks, specifically 40 cases of Panzerfaust 3 and Bunkerfaust RPGs. Price is negotiable.

OOC: About the most advanced thing I use is some coil-guns (weaker than rail) on navy ships, and some elite units also have slight cybernetic modification, but very little, just replacing a few important bones with metal replicas and so on.

OOC: Basically I've created a small, puppet nation just for this. The original plan was to allow a nation that have ties with to go to war with this puppet to test his doctrine and organizational structure. I'll telegram him this weekend and see if we can't expand this to fit you in. No promises though. If either of you want help in organizing your militaries, send me a telegram and I'll try to give you some advice.

With the blinking icon on the bottom of her laptop, Deveraux laid her plastic fork on the fruit bowl she had purchased in the mezzanine for lunch. Double clicking on the icon she pulled up her inbox and found a response by General Hawkings, the leader of the Independent Furres – a potential friend and ally of the United Kingdom. Picking up her fork once more and allowing herself a bite of succulent pineapple, Deveraux wiped her fingers on the frustratingly small napkin provided with her food.

The exact location of our meeting is for me but a trivial detail, the important point being the opening of a dialogue between our two peoples and their respective governments. As such, I would be able to arrange an ad hoc meeting of sorts, though my time would be limited to at most say 24 hours or such. However, hopefully within that day we could hammer out the start of diplomatic relations, especially signing treaties of embassy exchange and opening our nations’ markets to one another.

Almost pouncing on the General to give him a quick hug around the shoulders, she'd answer in a perky voice. "Love tah!" she giggled, nuzzling Adrianne's cheek briefly, before prancing off to do...things. Whatever entailed cleaning up the wreck of a home Adrianne had.
