OOC: unless this is like the real war and there instead is a phony war

IC:
From Prime Minister Winston Churchill, recently appointed
To Mssr Daladier, President of France:

The British government in light of recent actions taken by the German Republic and the need to defend our allies suggests a conference as soon as possible to discuss what strategies and goals our nations will lead. I suggest a meeting in Dover. (We can talk in another, more secret forum if you agree)

From Mssr Daladier, President of France
To Prime Minister Winston Churchill

Indeed the recent actions of the German Republic are inexcusable, and with the recent invasion of Poland, our countries should declare war. I will meet with you in Dover to discuss our strategies.

From: Jaime Gerardo Roberto Marcelino María Ortiz Lizardi, President of the Argentine Republic
To: Albert Lebrun, President of France

The Argentine military is currently going through a time of upgrade. We are very interested in French armoured models. France has, since the great war, turned out many high quality tank designs.

We would like to establish Argentina as a leading South American armoured power, and purchase the following designs. Because war looms, we knwo that your factories are busy producing armaments for the defense of the country, and cannot spare time for foreign exports, so we are more than happy to buy production rights.

We would like to purchase the following:
Renault R35
Panhard 178
Somua S-35

We hope that our offer is accepted.
Argentina wishes you the best of luck in defending your motherland against the fachist menace.

Signed,
Jaime Gerardo Roberto Marcelino María Ortiz Lizardi,
President of the Argentine Republic

From Albert Lebrun, President of France

The French government would be delighted to assist Argentina in it's construction of an efficient Tank Corp by exporting a number of R 35 and S-35 Light tanks to the Argentine Republic at their request.

Albert Lebrun

Thank you for your assistance, how many of these tanks will you be able to provide? We will also need a few crews for training, but rest assured, we will learn quickly, as we are already familiar with armoured cars and have a few tanks from the Great War that we have used for experimentation.

Signed,
Jaime Gerardo Roberto Marcelino María Ortiz Lizardi,
