Dauberline

A prototype of a new Dauberline littoral warfare naval vessel has been seen by satellite, leaving port for sea trials.. It appears the vessel is based on hydrofoil technology, however there are no hydrofoil wings. The vessel is delta-shaped, and has many odd angles on its small superstructure.. there appear to be no external weapon emplacements, it must use guided cruise missiles as weapons. - excerpt from Technophile Magazine.
OOC: actually, I'm developing a fast attack surface vessel, has stealth characteristics, a very low profile at slow speeds, but is capable of extreme speeds (I'm talking 120knots here people...) As it uses a "surface effect" I will not go into further OOC details at this moment.. but the US navy experimented with such craft back in the 80s to mid 90s, but deemed them unnecessary.
