Question: Atruria, can you give me some idea of the Duchy of Ardhain cause i'll send the first of my troops into that area to try and recapture it
Good Idea, it´ll also give me something to work with in aiding in defence without actually being overt yet.
Novacom: As Atruria's a rather large nation, climates vary. However, the north of Atruria is mainly highland and forest-ish, think Scotland.
Yallak: Ardhain, while not really in the north, is sort of the same. Not so much highland, but it's a pretty forested area.
Also, just in case anyone's wondering, here's some geographical info:
Atruria's a large island, about the size of the US, though it's generally considered part of Europe. It lies south of the British Isles and somewhat westward of Spain. The climate in the north, as i've already stated, in mountainous and forested. The middle region consist mainly of forests and, to a minor extent, grasslands. In the southeast, there is sort of a Mediterranean climate, while the Southwest shares similar climates to the Caribbean. The nation consists of many provinces, which are mainly feudal domains. I'll be making a map soon, so that'll probably help.
Ah Excellent, putting you in my general area then, as I place myself in the Atlantic ocean as well, only as far as I see it, it´s considerably larger.
Okay that's cool. But, just a heads up, I'd like to mount an assault on the Acragas area, seeing as this is a war RP and there have really not been any battles.
Cool: If it your royal troops doing the attacking - i'll send some to assist - and ill send others to Ardhain.
Oh by the way, can we monitor if anyone else joins up that they won´t be bringing in a huge army, as I don´t want to be dogpiled.
Can you also tell me how many forces your commiting, I want to make sure it´s not obscene overkill, for either side, and Yallak the weapon I mentioned will be used in this battle, when it´ll be used will depend on how things go, when the time comes I´ll check to make sure it isn´t complete overkill.
There´s more than a few familiar faces going to crop up here

Sure, I don't see a real problem with monitoring the RP like that!:p
it's just to make sure I don't get dogpiled, especially as Yallak has an extra 2 billion to chuck round that I don't already making things a little tricky, and then obviouslly fighing you as well.
And Paitience on war actually breaking out, developing things up and laying ground work is important, it's also ICly realistic, as I don't hurtle into war at the drop of the hat, I delay it as much as possible while preparing as much as possible, battlefiled control is a principal tennant of my military doctorine, and I'd say I'm pulling that off fairly well :D

I've only got one legion in Atruria - so 200,000 soldiers + there supporting armour, artillery etc. No airforce, save a few blackhawk helicopters for transport and insertions and no naval forces.
I know ive heard about it in one of the torontian RP's but i don't really remember anything about it OOCly and don't think i know anything about it ICly.

CRAPDAMMIT!! Sorry, ive been really busy with schoolwork lately. I finish for the year today though, so I'll have a post up in a little while.
In response to your latest thing, I have exams lately and understandably I'm focusing effort onto revision for those, if you wait till the end of the week I can give you a massive war.
I understand completely, and that's entirely right and fair. However, I'd like to start being able to participate in other RPs.
Given that my last exam is on thursday we can create all kinds of spin offs when things get vack on track.
I do apologise for not alerting you to my exams, it's the sort of thing you keep meaning to mention but forget to :(

Sorry about that - i had exams and now im sick at the moment. (I was also waiting for Atruria to reply to my last post before i did anything else either.)
Anyway i guess it was just a crappy time for all of us, unfortunately.
Now that my exams are over it's time to get thgings back on track, Arturia can you reply to what Yallak wants, and in the mean time I'll whip up a few more prepp posts, as I'm reluctant to begin the attack without that response to yallak, it could be something of critical importance...
