*East of the South Pole*
It had been a long arduous adventure for the entire people, a conglomeration of races, religions, and professional specializations from around the world, but a vast majority were American... All five-million people had been sent to the near-middle of the massive ice-continent to construct a research base.
On arrival, they had found a massive ice plane, solid with no subteranian caverns or holes, and construction was begun on the first city, special anchors were driven into the ice to stabilize the massive concrete and tempered glass building which replaced the temporary habitats which had been constructed to house the people until they could erect perminant settlement....
Then, disaster struct, the money from the United States stopped flowing, Congress had decided the expensive project was no longer nescissary as a new location in Alaska had been found suitible for experimental military research...
Now, left with no resources, people began contemplating leaving the newly constructed administrative habitat... that was, until a young man, at the time only 22, stood up and led the people on an 8 year project, the construction of 3 Perminant Living Habitats, 2 Industrial Habitats, and a Commercial Habitat.
8 years later, the massive buildings of Concrete, Steel and Glass stood proudly against the Antarctic wind... The Red-White-Blue of the American flag waving proudly in the wind... above it, the single blue star and grey bars of the Antarcteria flag stood testament to what the newly founded country could establish.
But along with the civilian cities, there were numerous SAM and Testla coil defenses, along with two military airstrips. Next to the airstrips sat massive hangers. If one were to enter the hanger, they would find numerous flying wing fighters and bombers, which had been designed and constructed during the final construction phase of the city.
Message to Nations:
The United States of Antarcteria, newly constructed, is now accepting diplomatic and commercial ties, along with alliances.
