((OOC: This thread is intended to allow a certain degree of international involvement in Yaforite-Generian War, currently raging in its early stages. Now, Yafor2 and I have agreed that even though the war itself is closed to other participants, being that it is such a large conflict between two rather enormous nations of certain influence, there should be a certain degree of international involvement, as the conflict would likely send some sort of ripple effect throughout the world stage, or at least that particular section of the world stage that both myself and Yafor 2 frequent.
In less ambiguous terms, this thread will be a holding place for various international IC declarations, foreign and domestic press reports on the war from nations, including both participants, and any other reasonable non-combat activities that anyone who wants to get involved can think of.
Mostly, it’s just a way to get you guys to notice our thread because we’re attention whores…but that’s another story.

Citizens of the Bold Imperium, it is with varying degrees of disgust and rage that I write to you today. The Yaforites continue to show their true colors as cowards and dogs. Like wolves they have today set upon the innocent and free Republic of Southern Buchiana, just as the constitutional committee in Iljievo was preparing to release a statement regarding the completion of the first draft of the document that would set in stone the representative government of that state.
Of course, in the past we have all chided the Buchianans as running a hellhole, rebelling against their masters, failing to acknowledge the truth provided by Emperor Kazatmiru and the Alexian old guard, but today we must stand with them as brothers, shoulder to shoulder, for our enemy is a common one. Just as the Yaforites have insulted us and violated us through their declaration of war, made on unjust grounds and unfounded accusations, today they have violated a free nation, innocent of the grievances the Yaforite government has fabricated against the Imperial standard and the crown.
I will reiterate, my fellow citizens, innocent men and women are today being set upon and dying at the hands of the horde! Innocent children are being orphaned as their mothers are ravaged by the barbarians! Whatever grudge we may have had with the Buchianans before, let us put it aside, for their ordeal is as shocking to us as it is to any.
Are we not a people of morals? A people of righteous conscience as much as we are of mighty fist? Are we not a nation of men banded under the throne in the interest of the preservation of what we hold dear, the interests of our individual liberties as surely as the common strength that comes through remaining loyal to Generia and her Emperor? Are we not a nation that has withstood invasion after invasion, beat back countless times the hordes of the foreign barbarian who would impose upon us his systems and his codes at the expense of our tradition?
I answer yes. I answer that we are all these things and more, and in so doing, I offer the question, why then are we allowing our southern neighbors, the Buchianans whom for years sat under the light of the same throne, to be ravaged by this horde that has come to the shores of this continent for the sole purpose of destroying this Empire that has for so long stood, and thus fueling its own imperialist fire?
Brothers, sisters, fellow citizens, I implore you to take to the streets in support of the brave people of Buchiana, this stepchild of the Empire, and to stand against the madness of the Yaforites. To His Grace, the Emperor Kazatmiru (long may his glory reign), I beg that you send the full might of this great nation to bring destruction to the barbarians that threaten our standard, and to show them the full extent of the vengeance of Generia. And finally, to the soldiers of the Empire, our sons and daughters, I pray that you will fight well and always bear in mind the justice of our cause, and never forget that you fight for your home, your standard, your throne, for if they should fall, then everything you hold dear goes with them.
