Celebration swept through the Commonwealth today as the Ruling Council announced it's seperation with the ever more risky Arab League in favor of negotiations with the European Economic Community. Citing conflicting interests and instability in the region, the Council announced their decision this morning.
"We believe that the EEC will be a better fit for the common good of Italy and it's colonies. Some have expressed concern over the safety of the colonies in the wake of this announcement, and to them, I assure the mainland's continuing support and loyalty to it's colonies."
After the early speech, the Council corresponded with Germany, with wishes to seek entry into the European Economic Community.
