Belgium, a small nation in Europe, is an Imperial power. They have conquered the several small colonies, but nothing big yet.. The government has sent explorers to Africa.

The Belgian government is a good friend of the French and British, but trys to remain neutral in the pressure that is building.

The Belgian military is small, but still large for their small nation. Most of the military is based in Africa and Asia.

200,000: 150,000 Infantry, and then 50,000 for cavalry and artiller
The Army wants to expand their army from 200,000 to 300,000 men. It will be
200,000 Infantry, 75,000 cavalry 75,000 cavalry, and 25,000 artilliry
The government wants to reclaim their waters and build a navy, but it may take a long time.
The population is at a boom and many are joining the military for exploration.

Any help or info about Belgium would be great.

OOC Hate to critique but it's NS... Anyway Belgium does not in fact Own the Congo yet, that happens at the Berlin Confrence in 1885, you do however have pretty much the only foriegn influence there but No one, not even Belgium has recognizied it.

Now your army is about 200,000: 150,000 Infantry, and then 50,000 for cavalry and artillery the website didn't really say so it's up to you how it's divided.

OOC: Furthermore, the Kingdom of Belgium, as of this time, does not maintain a Navy. Instead, the waterways of Belgium are under the protection of the British Royal Navy.

The Belgian government has decided to begin colonization and trade in the area of Togoland. We hope to discuss with the peoples there about building ports and trade posts.
Or you can go to a more rich land like Congo...just a thought...
