OOC: This is open to anyone with a nation whose pop is under 250 Mill when joining. Also limited to the 5% pop military rule, and no WMDs unless okd in advance by your target. If you wish to join, pick a spot and post IS about your landing. There are some native tribes, some warlike, some friendly, all rather primative and speaking languages that are rather unlike all currently known languages.
IC: The ships from Reformed Sparta had been unloading for days. Already a fortess, Mesembria, had been established on a new island dubbed Parnon. In addition, part of the neighboring isle had been explored and claimed, with a few hundred men now its northernmost shores.
The commander of the squadron who had begun the settlement of these lands sent out a progress report back to Reformed Sparta, informing them of the latest progress and detailing the coordinates of what they had found on the shores.
Unfortunately, through some glitch, parts of the message, including mention of 'new, unclaimed lands' and the coordinates were sent unencryptyed and detectable by any nation.
