*A small neat letter lies in your in-tray no doubt left by one of your fellow co-workers/minions. It reads as follows:*
"To [insert your name here],
It has come to our attention during our first peacekeeping Tour of Duty that our Armed Forces are not operating as effectively as they could be. In light of modern times, we have realized that we must seek outside our nation for technical expertise as our Arms Manufacturing Ability is unfortunately outdated.
We have been given a generous grant to refit our whole Armed Forces' small arms weaponry over the next couple of years.
The arms would be primarily used for peacekeeping duties, must be flexible in variety of environments, and must keep to current United Nation standards.
To be specific the merchandise MUST :
# be created in enough quantity to refit our whole armed forces consisting, estimating roughly 500,000 initially, then around 10,000 units annually henceforth.
# operate well in most environs, Specifically: Cool-Temperate, Arctic and Desert Warfare Climates.
# weigh no more than 12.5kg per rifle; and 0.6kg per magazine.
# Must be capable of firing : tracer, ball, armour piercing, tracer and blank rounds.
# be fixed with a standard TRILUX unit or similar, each rifle with a 4x Scope as standard.
Contract will be discussed and negotiated further after when we receive your supply and gun capabilities.
Many Thanks,
