Sovereign Class DN (Flight II)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v387/Praetonia/SovereignClassBCN.png

Overview

Designed as the heavily armed and armoured punch of a Praetonian battlefleet as well as a vessel able to operate in packs at the centre of large battlefleets including the Grand Fleet itself, the Sovereign Class is the most powerful non-superdreadnought design in Praetonian service. The vessel is fast enough to keep up with a battlefleet, and is capable of most taking and dishing out a great deal of firepower at a price affordable for widespread deployment. Recently classified a 'Dreadnought' as opposed to a 'Battleship', the Sovereign sits towards the lower end of super-capitals.

[OOC: Damn... ok, when I wrote the title for the pic I was thinking of my Duke Class BCN. Just a mo.

EDIT: Fixed. If you refresh then it should show the new pic.]

[OOC: Yeah I messed up. I don't even have a "Dragoon Class BCN". I have a Dragoon Class CAN and a Duke Class BCN, but...

Probably best just to let the topic fall to the bottom.]

The Grand Duchy of Tarlag's government is interested in buying four of your

You know, I'm starting to kick myself for not equipping my navy with you're ships.... I like Sarz specialisation more than you, but at least you always respond with in a few hours.

**Try's to think of an IC way to justify purchasing from you**

(SEA, I guess you were right...)

[OOC: Thanks for the compliment. Of course, there's no reason why you can't use both PIW and IPS ships. There's nothing to stop you from fitting Sarzonian guns, VLS and other systems to Praetonian-built ships, or indeed vice-versa.]

[Thats a good point... oh, and by the way, I should tel you that I'm using your sig. You've since changed it, but I thought I might as well thank you anyway... I kinda figured it was one of these "If you support this..... add it to your sig" things. Being from the UK, and watching the EU screw us, the FCS seems like a real good idea.]

[OOC: Hogsweat made it originally, so the credit should go to him. Thanks anyway, and nice to see you support the FCS against the EU - the more people whod eclare their support, the better.]

[Yep, I agree. It won't happen, mind you: We're too far gone.... Best scenario, I think, would be to jump into bed with the Americans, and the rest of NAFTA.... anyway, I'll shut up. You probably don't want me cluttering you're thread about ships. P.s, I'm shrinking all my text in my other posts now]

[OOC: Sadly I think that's true. Most of the Commonwealth is now in the Americanosphere. Oh well.]

I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned it to you (I can't actually recall talking to you much before this thread), but check out the Bruges Group: http://www.brugesgroup.com/index.live. They are an anti-EU think-tank. I don't know what your views are on free trade, but they did a rather interesting article about a Global Free Trade association. If you read what they are proposing, it seems rather more attractive than joining NAFTA, the EU-superstate, of even the FCS (The FCS's idea of regional governments in England isn't really my thing). Anyway, check it out when you have a chance. I'm definatly going to stop cluttering you're thread now. Heck, Telegram's were made for these kinda conversations.

[OOC: Thanks for the link, looks interesting. Anyway yes, thread-cluttering is bad, but not many people are buying ships right now so I don't really mind.]

OOC: I think you forgot to change the crew complement on the Sovereign class in your initial write-up. And I think you can get a Mod to change the title of this thread without too much hassle.
