Could Amestria's Foreign Minister make an official state visit to Pacitalia to meet with Agustinate Rabastano Sancatto Serra, who de Villepin wishes to develop a good working relationship with (so as to have better relations with Pacitalia and greater cooperation in the future)?

Also, it would give you the oppertunity to have Serra's reaction to de Villepins gift.

De Villepin would be attempting to form good relations with both the plotters and the Prime Minister (whom he has expressed confidence in), so whomever came up on top would have a better opinion of Amestria.

Sweet. I'll see if I can get a post in today...but that's very unlikely (a.k.a. I'm spending my life watching the World Cup :p ), but otherwise, I don't know. I'll be sure to read the thread, though. Like I said, I'll get time on a computer, I just might not post. Don't write me off all the way, though. Pacitalia is the only international country the Yaforites really care about (except maybe Generic Empire ;) ).

Amestria, I don't think it's generally considered very good form to refer ICly to characters when the players who use them ignore you.

Well Sarzonia I do not have an ignore on your country and given the actions your government has publicly taken IC-wise (spiteful criticism, cutting off of trade, the sudden breaking of relations, est.) it would not make sense for the satirical Le Canard Blessé or any Amestrian Newspaper/Character not to refer to them in some form. None of my characters/private entities/institutions have interacted or attempted to interact with Sarzonia directly, so I fail to see what you are upset about... Furthermore, this is Pacitalia's RP, not yours.

What have I done to earn such hostility from you? Nothing, I have done nothing to warrant your hostility and your behind the scenes attempts to exclude me from RPs such as this one.

One of the first things Pacitalia said from the outset about this RP is that he would take ignores into account when he decided who would participate in this RP. I told him that I ignore you for reasons extending from that whole Torontia RP, such as what I'd consider your unreasonable attempts to tell me how to RP during the brief time I was considering taking part in a RP I didn't want to join. The first time I ever TG'd you, I told you in no uncertain terms how much I dislike people who tell me how to RP my characters or my actions. It should come as no surprise to you that I want no part of future roleplays with you.

I talked to him because he expressed an interest in having me participate in this RP and having you take part for reasons that relate to the story he's trying to tell. Frankly, I wanted to leave the RP because of your presence. However, he and I agreed that you could mention Sarzonia in passing but not make Sarzonia the focus of anything.

Concerning the events that occurred during the semi-closed Liberation of Torontia thread, you jumped into the RP (without asking btw) right in the middle of an OOC dispute between the various players over how closed the RP was (i.e. who could be let in and for what purpose), and there were battles players wanted RPed before reinforcements/supplies began arriving. At the time I was really stressed from RL issues, suffering from winter depression, and, to top it all off, it was a really bad time of the month for me. Maybe I was a little frantic and controlling, but I was really stressed out, it happens. Throughout it all I did not godmod, neither did I wank. After our little talk and your brief involvement in liberation I thought things were fine. Then I briefly participated in the Space Union recession RP (briefly because IC political pressure from Southeastasia and your country caused my country’s companies to be banned from participating) and then proceeded on my merry way to work on other RP projects. Three months or so later I receive an out of the blue TG from Southeastasia telling me you had an ignore on me…an ignore you never saw fit to inform me about btw.

To be honest I did not even remember that little OOC dispute concerning the Liberation of Torontia thread until I was reminded by others. You have turned a little insignificant matter into the grudge of the century.

BTW: There is a world of difference between not wanting to RP directly with someone for personal reasons, putting an ignore on them, and telling them not to mention your country/characters.

Then does that excuse me from misbehaving in school two years ago by getting provoked into physical fights by class pranksters and school jerks, all because of the fact that my parents were having a marital dilemma? Does that excuse me from sending Joint Conglomerates from sending him curse-filled, angry telegrams simply because I was impatient and over-eager of getting my first war role-play (which still is in my signituare) done and over with? In the former case, no, I made myself end up in a worse punishment (i.e. suspension) than the provoking student. In the latter case, no, and Joint Conglomerates had every right to block me off because of that, and I brought it on myself and now I have to work all over again to regain his trust and remove the I.G.N.O.R.E. he implaced on me. Talk to TKC and he will agree on that.

Given the fact that this is a free form role-play site, a player can ignore any other player for any reason he or she so desires be it reasonable or unreasonable (depending on your POV). For example, I diasgreed with Sarzonia when he reimplanted his I.G.N.O.R.E. on Leafanistan and McKagan over the Frozopia dispute and when Frozopia did the same because he was pissed off at McKagan and Leafanistan and because they didn't know that he had RL dilemmas to attend to and he couldn't role-play during that hiatus, but it's their choice. And you really want a REALLY bad and unjustified case of using the I.G.N.O.R.E. cannon, Amestria? Two words for you: Pythogria anyone?

I would like to point out a significant problem that will soon come to a head because of Sarzonia's ignore, we are both involved in two RPs, one of them an open RP (the Forged in Cold Fire RP, which I posted on first btw) which we both have an equal right to be involved in and which it is impossible (from the point of view of the story) not to interact in some way.
