The Eastern Rome
25-05-2006, 22:22
The Eastern Roman Empire rules over all of Italy, the Balkans, Sicily, the Middle East and other lands with its capital at Constantinople and its Emperor as Basil II The Bulgar-Slayer (Greek: Βασίλειος Βουλγαροκτόνος [Basileios Bulgaroktonus]). Basil has plans for his empire and has opened diplomatic relations with other powers.
Christianity is the state religion, the Orthodox form mainly (I don't know whether to add in the Great Schism of 1054). The Byzantines or Eastern Romans are open to diplomatic relations with other nations.
Basil is also known for managing his empire well, he has achieved much.
Note- I hope this is a good factbook for my nation.
