After McKagan had recieved the invitation to fly an envoy into TSU held British Columbia a great deal of questioning had been done at the McKagan Imperial State Department. The TSU want's a conference because... they got a new airport?

It would be fully possible for a conference to be held at anytime before the airports completion. Common knowlege is that the McKagan envoy to the Seattle conference was moved by ground into the region.

That simple fact alone had the McKagan Imperial Security Agency very concerned - to say the least. The chances that the TSU would attempt SOMETHING were almost confirmed. The question was what.

Would they be silly enough to openly attack the McKagan delegation? If they did it would be the end of the TSU - with the possibility of the vast and powerful IMAF moving nearly 5000 planes over Torontia with 24 hours of being needed and the IMN's ability to use massive numbers of stealth vessels and guided missile submarines to crush any opposition. What else COULD they do though? No other nations would be represented, so the chances of the TSU Intelligence Sentries hearing something they're not supposed to was next to zero as well.

The only way to find out, it seemed, was to go.

Before responding to the TSU message - precautions were taken. RMV Prometheus, a Revolver Class Cruiser which had once taken down a Kravanian airwing, was in the operational theatre. Being smaller than a destroyer with just as much concentrated firepower and stealth had its benefits.

No one had carved up maritime claims - and no one really could without looking like imperialists. With this in mind - the IMN was free to move Prometheus where ever needed. It's "zone" was to hold position off the coast of the city where the conference is to be held - only far enough away to not blow off any HUGE alarms.

I'll be the McKagan envoy that'll be heading to the meeting you requested. Do you have any requested documents for me to bring or time to get there - or am I free to move as I like? Are there any special rules or anything else I should know about?

To: Amanda Rose, McKagan Imperial State Department
From: Joseph Larange Assistant Leader of the Torontia Socialist Union.
Thank you for your prompt return. The time best to arrive would be at least sometime late in the morning. We aren't exactly an organized Army so it takes awhile in peace time to get everything ready. As for any documents, just bring identification of being from the McKagan Imperial State Department and it should secure everything. All of the TSU and public areas of Vanderhoof are open to look at, you can be roomed at the 3 lodges located in the town or at the base Barracks, it's up to you. Mainly this is to promote some sort of inspection of the conditions up here so that the McKagan authorities can be able to get more knowledge of the area. We look foward to your Arrival. -Joseph Larange

P.S. Be sure to bring some good shoes, the roads are poor in the main part of Vanderhoof so you may need to do some walking.

(OOC: Vanderhoof is located Dead center in BC. 40 miles at least. But with a Cruiser with missiles that's almost no Conquence)

I'll be leaving soon with everything you requested. We'll probably stay at the base barracks as my security chief is paranoid.

Soon enough a small, private-looking jet launched from Triesa International Airport. It would have to fly a fairly long distance to reach the destination - but long flights were the specialty of Amanda Rose.

She's chosen to dress in a simple pair of jeans with a jacket. She looked so unofficial that she'd expected to have trouble at the government terminal in Triesa. Her pack included a PDA, laptop, and identification devices. Her watch was a new issue from the MISA. It was small and discreet, but it had a "panic button" on the side of it.

-Vanderhoof Military Airport-
#Flight Number 003 you are cleared for landing.# As the McKagan plane began to land everyone quickly cleared the runway area while the few lounging soldiers stood up to attention and waited for the flight to land. The complex had just been finished, surrounded by a Chain link fence and Barbed Wire, the Military Complex stretched up to 2 square miles, small considering the amount of soldiers it was supposed to cover. As the McKagan plane made it's final approach, the 2nd in Command of the TSU, Joseph Larange took position at the arrival point. This is the perfect chance to see the objectivness of the McKagan's. He thought waiting as the plane touched down, bounced a little and began to slow, those in the control tower watched with baited breath until it safely stopped at the arrival point. It landed safely, as expected there were no mistakes with the Airfield.
The stairs moved up to the doors of the Aircraft and Joesph spoke up as the Door opened and Amanda Rose stepped out. "Welcome to Vanderhoof, after you get settled in we can show you around."

Amanda Rose quickly exited the plane. Being on such a long flight meant that she was ready to expend energy doing... stuff. She didn't really know exactly what she was doing other than just giving the TSU a chance to earn favor with McKagan.

I know what i'm going to do, she thought. I'm going to be tough on them at first and then pretend they've bought me over. Having some friends up here would definately help out in the future.

"I don't have to get settled in. My Lieutenant will handle all that. Say, would you mind if we stayed on the plane for the first night. We've got some stuff we need to take care of and we're having some trouble out of our portable computer systems. We'll be ok by tommorow though."

-Vanderhoof Military Airport-
Joseph smiled unconcerned, "No problem at all, now we have many things we will have to show for you to document, but for now we're up to some choices, We can give you the tour of the Airfield, show you some of our Info on future plans for Vanderhoof, or we can just give you a walking tour of the town and show some Hospitality."

"As much as i'd like to take in the hospitality, I think the most important thing for me to take back, officially, is knowlege of what you PLAN to do for the future. Maybe we'll have time to go for a walk or some sort of tour later, too."

OOC: I better finish this.

-Airfield-
"Very well then, follow me." Joseph said as he walked towards the control tower, nodding to the Tigerstripe Camoed guard at the door, who was holding a Leafanistan AR-550. "Right this way, Ms." The soldier said stepping aside and nodding to the McKagans.

-Airfield, Control Tower-
"Johan!" Joseph shouted walking into the office. "Yes Sir?" came the reply as a man wearing the sterotypical Forest Fatigues showed up at the office window. Set up for a meeting, you know where all the charts are." "Yes sir."
Joseph turned to Rose casually, "Johan is one of the best organized members of our group, a Jack of All trades, if you know the term, he fixes vehicles, he draws up maps, he's also the one who set up the plans for this very airfield."
"We can wait in the meeting room for him to get ready." Joseph led the McKagans to a nearby room.

-Meeting Room- The room was an odd sight for such a location. In a sharp contrast to the rest of the base, the meeting room actually had wooden walls and floor, as well as actual lamps instead of the harsh Florecent lights of the rest of the base. The chairs and the meeting table were a little mismatched due to the lack of being able to buy good wooden furniture but it was nice none the less. Take any seat, the group should be here any minute." Joseph said taking a seat at one end of the table. We're on a timetable people move it. he thought thinking of where the others were.
