Hornet class Police Interceptor
G10,500,000

The Hornet class interceptor is primarily geared toward civilian patrol and anti-pirate operations, as well as standard police raids and so forth.
Its primary weapons (in the DGNT police forces) are usualy two forward facing light laser weapons, although some models mount a single light ion cannon for disabling ships. However, as most GLACORP fighters are equiped with hardpoints rather than fixed weapons, a variety of weapons may be mounted into this slot (a list of the avalible weapons is included at the end of this topic).
The ships main focus is speed in combination with a high quality targetting computer. These in combination enable the Hornet to keep pace most civilian ships quite easily while firing disabling shots in order to capture the crew. The Hornet will not generally hold up well against military fighters unless theyre disabled or something similar.
The fighter comes in two configurations, the standard interceptor, more ammunition, slightly higher speed and space for six 'passengers' in cells, or the transport configuration which can hold up to ten heavily equipped officers on benches.
The price of the weapons systems are included in the price above.

Drone fighter Mk. I
G6,500,000

Drone fighters focus on one thing in combat, numbers. Their simple goal is to overwhelm the enemy with a huge mass of fighters.
This generation of Drone isnt especially bright, it will lock on to a specific enemy target and follow it until it is destroyed or until it receives new orders. It is capable of performing escort operations as well.
In the interest of security, the drones computer core is rigged with anti-tampering devices and attempts to remove the device or the drones computer core, or to modify either, will result in the destruction of the drone.
To reduce prices, the Mark I drone has fixed laser hardpoints.
