MBT and IFV request

Molynia

To all military supply and design companies:

Molynia is looking for a new Main Battle Tank and Infantry Fighting Vehicle system for use in her armies. We are looking for any company with designs that will fulfil our army's need. Existing designs and custom designs will both be given equal consideration. Any company that can supply us with these weapons systems will be given first consideration in future purchases of military equipment and technology.

Requirements:

IFV:
must be air-droppable
must weigh no more than 25 tons
must have a troop carrying capacity of either four or six infantry. A four-infantry IFV will be expected to weigh less.
must be able to engage a wide variety of battlefield threats (infantry, light vehicles, tanks, helicopters, etc)
must have modular weapons systems (Can swap out main gun for a different main gun, can swap out secondary weapons, etc)
must have a cavalry scout variant.

MBT:
no weight limit (within reason. a 150 ton tank isn't going to work :D )
must be able to engage other modern MBTs with a reasonable chance of victory.
must have modular weapons systems, compatible with the IFV, except for the main gun.

Both:
Must have road speed of greater than 60km/h and a reasonable rough terrain speed
must be tracked
must include a light mortar or other indirect fire weapon that isn't a missile launcher
must be fully battlefield network-capable.
must have reasonable NBC protection. Full NBC protection is a plus.
must anve reasonable amounts of armor to protect against modern battlefield threats.
must be modern or post-modern tech.

We look forward to your designs!

The Gorilla is armored with a foundation layer of RHA that is covered by a layer of ceramics composites for better survivability against anti armor weapons, also includes the ability to be fitted with explosive Reactive armor to enhance survivability against armor piercing munitions.

Main Battle Tank (Kodiak)
Height; 3.2 meters
Length; 8.1 meters
Width; 3.6 meters
Armament; G-115 Gun mount (Fits from 75mm HV to 350mm engineering breacher, default weapon is 135mm High Velocity), coaxial mount (Default is 15.5mm MG), 6x 40mm single grenade deployers (smoke, chaff, flare, fragmentation), 1x ATGW mast (two tubes), 2x ATFFM(Anti Tank Fire and Forget Missile) tubes, OCSW mountable, 7mm ‘hatch’ MG, BUCKLER Active Defense system
Armor Scheme: The Kodiak is equipped with a revolutionary armor system, an aluminum alloy frame supporting a nano-carbon inner skin; additional layers are tungsten alloys, honeycomb carbon composites, a thixtropic layer that effectively reduces the threat posed by HESH rounds, and two layers of mono-crystalline Aluminum alloy plates.
Engine: Hydrogen Electric for high fuel availability (incorporated electrolyzer) and hydrogen ‘starter’ tanks), mobility and low heat signature (can use hybrid diesel electric)
Speed; 55 mph (road)
7.4 knots (swim)
Crew; 3 (Tank Commander, Driver, Gunner)
Price; 4,600,000
Deployment; The Kodiak is a heavy solution to mobile Armor, supplying powerful Anti tank and Infantry support options.
The Kodiak is a powerful Main Battle Tank capable of moving fast over a large number of rough terrains, surviving against powerful enemy weapons and retaliating quickly and accurately. The Kodiak utilizes revolutionary ‘drive by light’ fiber optic controls which give it unprecedented flexibility and ease of repair while minimizing problems caused by electronic or traditional mechanical controls. The Kodiak utilizes a state of the art Auto loader that stores all ammunition outside the crew compartments to minimize the dangers of accidental detonation of ammunition. The Bezzle mounted autoloader features blow out panels and an easy reloading design that minimizes time spent outside the tank. The three crew members sit in specially designed ‘cockpit’ like seats with all relevant controls placed within easy reach, this design minimizes space required for the crew and gives more space for the armor, giving this tank some of the heaviest armor for its class in the world. Replacing the Depleted Uranium armor layer found in most modern MBTs with denser Tungsten Alloys, while increasing weight and price, yield a much greater level of protection as well as an increased protection against battlefield nuclear weapons due to Depleted Uraniums effect of accelerating certain forms of harmful radiation. The multiple small hydrogen ‘stacks’ of the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power plant are incorporated into the frame of the vehicle to increase armor protection and create a power plant redundancy, several of the stacks can be penetrated or otherwise destroyed and the vehicle can continue functioning, at least enough to exit the combat zone (if a hybrid diesel electric drive is used, the space saved from eliminating the electrolyzer, starter tanks and fuel cell stacks is used for the engine, in this configuration the engine is forward of the crew section to provide additional front protection) The BUCKLER active defense system uses four small metal storm grenade launchers wired to an all aspect millimeter wave radar mounted on the turret, this radar detects incoming threats such as enemy tank rounds and anti tank guided missiles, relaying the range, vector and speed to the appropriate grenade launcher this system allows the grenade launcher to fire a round into the path of enemy attacks, causing the weapon to either prematurely detonate or causing it to veer off course.

Mondoth: Thank you for your speedy response. I have a few questions though. First of all, what are the weights for the two vehicles? Secondly, do you have a storefront?

I suggest checking the International Mall, its an excellent resource for all of your needs.
I would also advise checking out the GLACORP storefront under the Futuretech section, it contains many things which can be modified or are easily useable by modern nations.
