The Zumoritan Ship of the Line was designed by engineers from the Imperial Combined Zumoritan Heavy Industries Company and Phoenix Dynamix. Phoenix Dynamix also financed a great deal more than we were able to but have agreed to build us our first 2 ships for free since we covered much of the major design features in exchange for production rights being retained by them.
The Ship of the Line might be classifed as a cruiser by some navies, but we simply call it the "The Ship of the Line" We intend to build our entire navy around these vessels, rather than wasting money on antiquated battleships which we could never deploy and support anyway. Missile boats, frigates destroyers and these Ships of the Line are all we will need to support our carriers and bombard the shore. In adition to the basline model(Type 1) shown here,Two other types have been devised.A dedicated ASW type(Type 2), which adds 2 Depth Charge launchers and 4 ASROC launchers, as well as a towed sonar array, and an Air-Defense type (Type 3) which replaces the cruise missile launchers with 12 additonal SAM launchers and the 2 rear CIWS are replaced with a pair of dual 40mm AAA cannon turrets (with the advanced Bofors 3P air-bursting round system.)

To: The Respective Government/Nation who created such a vessel.

Although we are aware your nation does not wish to sell such grand vessels,
We wish to dramatically update our navy and that would do just that,
We do wish to buy it, no matter how much the cost (Within limits),
Or anything else you may want in exchange (within limits),
If you will still not trade, we stand in awe of such a ship, Excellent work.

Heil!
Office of Foreign Affairs,

Our policy has always been to not share military deisgns with anyone... however, I think if you allow us the 250 year lease of a decent sized naval base in your nation, we will sell you 2 ships.

OOC: Does "Ship of the Line" mean Crusier or Destroyer?

Niether, and both. Sort of a hybrid

"In the age of sail, after the development of the line of battle tactic in the mid 17th century, and up to the mid 19th century, a ship of the line was a warship powerful enough to take a place in the battle line."
This is what I took the name from

OOC:
I think "Ship's of the Line" from back then were mroe like the Battleships of today

There were actually 3 types of Ships of The Line, third rate, second rate and first rate, only first rate would be called battleships in today's terms. And 4th rate an below would be frigates.
Either way, this is the nomenclature I have chosen, I like it better than the modern alternatives which would be heavy destroyer or light crusier.
