The Hunt For Ehzno Attention Amazonian Beasts, Jaredcohenia

The Aeson
23-05-2006, 01:18
Ehzno sat cross legged in the safe house provided to him and his followers by Amazonian Beasts. Undoubtedly they had their own agenda in sheltering them, but that was not important. What was important was that the True Gods had provided to them a safe refuge, even after the collapse of Ehznoism in The Homeland.

Ehzno was deep in meditation. It did not even occur to him that the same gods who had provided him this refuge would now reveal it to his enemies.
***
"Sir!"

"This had better be important, Josef."

"Yes, sir! We just got a hit from one of our informers, sir! They think they spotted Ehzno, sir!"

"What? Where?"

"Amazonian Beasts, sir! Heading into some hotel."
***
Official Communique to Amazonian Beasts

We have recieved disturbing news, that Ehzno, currently the most wanted man in The Holy Empire of The Aeson, is residing in your nation. If you are aware of his location, we urge you to turn him over to us.

Empress Chandra
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 01:30
Grand General Strenivus stood at the Jaredcohenian embassy in front of the tank. It didn't seem that big to the nine-foot six giant, but he shed a tear over the loss of his comrades. Construction was being done on a monument to lie in front of the embassy to remember those who died in the Jaredcohenian/Ehznoist skirmish. "Why did they shoot at my men...they were just there to help against any other riots...YOU!"

He shouted at a fresh ensign working outside the embassy in his deep voice. The boy trembled in fear. "Y...y...yes sir?"

"Contact the Empress. Tell her I would like to have lunch with her at a café."

The ensign stood there...he wasn't sure if he had been honored or picked on. "I...I...I..." he started to shake. "I will do that, sir!" he shouted as he ran off. He ran inside the embassy and picked up a phone, leaving a message.

"Empress Chandra, this is Ensign Richard Bricks of the Jaredcohenian Embassorial Guard. The Grand General Strenivus wishes to dine with you over lunch. Thank you for your time."
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 01:42
The reply came within half an hour.

I would be honored to dine with the exalted General. I would suggest the Diplomat's Cafe I also have a sensitive, and important matter to discuss with you.
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 02:00
Within a few minutes of receiving that message, Strenivus was outside of the Cafe. He was wearing a blue suit with a black tie, but it was looked odd how he was wearing sneakers with it. He had a suitcase with him, but that was dwarfed by his massive size.
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 02:06
Empress Chandra waited at one of the tables. Several large and impressive (though they too were dwarfed by the massive general) bodyguards stood intimidating the diners.

Chandra smiled at Stenivus. "I'm glad you came. Please sit down. May I recommend the fried chicken?"
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 02:12
He sat down, barely fitting his knees under the table and knocking over a few glasses in the process. "I'd like to look at the menu first before I consider the fried chicken." He smiled with that comment. "Are these body guards supposed to be frightening?"
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 02:17
"Not frightening," replied the Empress with a small smile, pushing a menu towards the general, "Efficent. Of course, what scares me more, is that they're far from the most efficent of my bodyguards."

A discerning eye, trained in intelligence might catch some things about some of the other diners. How some wore bulky clothing, despite it being warm outside. How their purses or briefcases were right at hand. How they sized up the other diners, and each other.
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 02:21
Strenivus rolled his eyes. "Hard to find good bodyguards these days, huh?" He began to read the menu. "I suppose you know why I am here in The Aeson...from what my friend Clay headed up."
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 02:22
"I assume that you're here in command of the increased forces surrounding the embassy. It is in some relation to that that the sensitive information I mentioned to that pertains.

We've found Ehzno."
OOC: She actually meant that their were other bodyguards there. Hence the second paragraph.
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 02:26
"In command of increased forces? Chandra, I'm in charge of almost all of Jaredcohenia." He stopped and grinned, he was Cohenius' right hand man. "And where might Ehzno be?"
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 20:04
Chandra singaled the waiter over, and asked for a glass of water. The waiter nodded, bowed, and then turned to Strenivus, "Are you ready to order, sir?"

Speaking in a low tone, Chandra said, "Amazonian Beasts. We sent a telegram to them, asking for their cooperation, but they haven't responded yet. In the interests of cooperation between our nations..." She slid a folder marked confedential across the table. "That's everything we have on Ehzno, the die-hards still with him, and the hotel they're staying at."
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 20:55
"I'll have a double bacon cheeseburger with fries, oh, and would you happen to have any lemonade?" He handed the waiter the menu. "It was a long flight, I'm sorry." He put his briefcase on the table and opened it, putting the folder in it. "I hope that you know that my nation will be holding his execution." He put the briefcase back on the floor next to him. "So, how was your day?"
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 21:01
"Well," said the empress, "Not bad. You do have to understand though that however much loss of life he caused the Jaredcohenians, over a thousand Aesonics lost their lives in the riots he caused. But, more to the point, we haven't recieved any word from Amazonian Beasts. We're not even one hundred percent sure that it's him in that hotel, not just some look-alike."
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 21:06
"Then he will punish for the way he looks. He looks like a monster and shall be treated like one. Jaredcohenians have died because they were patroling a city protecting more Jaredcohenian lives. And also, what IS your stance on execution?"
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 21:08
"Make no mistake, Ehzno will die. However, I'm not entirely sure that it would be a wise idea to execute a foreign national merely because of his looks. We've got the hotel under full satellite surveillance, as well as several employees of ours watching it and we expect to get a positive ID on Ehzno or one of his die-hards soon."
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 21:26
"Then whoever captures Ehzno first will try him first. Let's make it a race, sounds like a fun idea no?" He grinned. Jaredcohenians wanted to see bloodshed.
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 21:27
"That is... agreeable. Although I would warn you, Amazonian Beasts does not seem to be one to be trifled with."
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 21:35
"Of course, your troops and mine will be working together. But I agree that we should wait until word from the Amazonian Beast leader until a mutual agreement is settled." He picked up a glass of water and drank it. "You know, people in my nation wanted to invade you!" He laughed.
The Aeson
23-05-2006, 21:36
"Yes?" said the Empress, careful to let her face show nothing, "Well, I am glad that... cooler heads prevailed."
Jaredcohenia
23-05-2006, 21:41
"Actually before the main invasion of your land occurs we need for that pesky nonaggression pact ends. There is already an entire squadren training to combat you on your own terrain." He then looked at the Empress' facial expression and laughed. "Oh, that gets every diplomat every time! Just kidding."
The Aeson

The Aeson
24-05-2006, 00:22
The waiter, fled, muttering apologizies, and saying something about the order getting mixed up. He returns with a truly massive burger, which is served directly on a tray, due to the fact that the restraunt has no plates that can hold it.
Jaredcohenia
24-05-2006, 00:31
"Now this is what I call a hamburger." He happily ate the sandwich which by smelling could clog one's arteries. "So, how did you become empress anyways?"

24-05-2006, 00:34
Chandra sipped her water and then replied, "Well, after the Old Emperor died, almost everybody went to Aeson City, to where Keene viewed the crowd. Someone shot Keene. I'm still not quite certain of everything that happened there, but I know Xenos, and Keene's apprentice at that time were involved. Keene recovered, thank the Gods, and the Gods guided him to choose me as Empress."

Cybran, Underground Bunker-14:30
Delta 13 walked down the dank, fairly moist catacomb leading behind the personal Imperial chambers of the provincial HQ in Cybran, one of the larger cities in the Dominion. Amazonia itself had seemed like too much of a target, and Cybran, one of the top military urban sprawls in the country, was heavily fortified against any sort of coup or assault. And the underground installation here helped as well...
Delta was not a normal Amazonian in the personal sense. He was one of the Vanguards...secret humans bred from birth to be faster, stronger, smarter, tougher...better. They were not given names...simply Greek designations followed by a number. The Deltas, Alphas, Sigmas...many different groups, but few individuals. They were the elite of the military arm, excelling in intelligence gathering and recovery, espionage, assassination, and frontline combat. Now 13 had his job...to find what vendetta was exactly out for this harbored fugitive.

13 hit the "open" slab on the wall, the electronic plate reading his presence, acknowledging his security clearance, and granting entry as two titanium doors opened, revealing the relatively sparse room, adorned only by a bed, two chairs, a desk, a low table, and a bathroom suite. The man was kneeling in the center of the room, towards the far wall. 13 slipped in quietly, his footsteps barely making the slightest of noises as he laid down some documents on the table.

"What do you make of this?" 13's baritone voice suddenly, yet quietly, rolled out, "this is a message our government recieved."

"We have recieved disturbing news, that Ehzno, currently the most wanted man in The Holy Empire of The Aeson, is residing in your nation. If you are aware of his location, we urge you to turn him over to us.

Empress Chandra"

"Now, the Dominion is always ready for a fresh war...yet this seems unexpected. We have no problems with your residence here, yet we would like some answers."
The Aeson
24-05-2006, 21:19
"Answers to what questions?" replied Ehzno calmly, getting to his feet. "As to why I am wanted, or to the degree for which they seek me, I have been perfectly frank with you. They seek me because I preach True Aesonism, which rallies the people against the government. I am, as they have said, the most wanted man in the country. One of the main reasons why I left."
Amazonian Beasts
24-05-2006, 22:02
"How much do you mean to them that they are willing to go on an international manhunt?" Delta fired back, trying to pry through to the answers he wanted.
The Aeson
24-05-2006, 22:05
"How much do you mean to them that they are willing to go on an international manhunt?" Delta fired back, trying to pry through to the answers he wanted.

"Consider this," replied Ehzno, "I, simply through my existence, present the largest threat to the entire Aesonic way of life, possibly to the entire Empire. I doubt they'd go to war with you over me, but diplomatic pressure? Certainly. Likewise special forces. There's also the Jaredcohenians to consider. My uprising was responsible for the death of a number of their citizens, and I do believe they've vowed vengance."
Amazonian Beasts
24-05-2006, 22:08
"So if the Aesons may not go to war, would the Jaredcohenians? If so, we will prepare defenses."
The Aeson
24-05-2006, 22:10
"All for me?" Asked Ehzno, "I'm flattered. But honestly, I'm not certain. On the one hand, Jaredcohenia did threaten war against The Holy Empire for my actions and those of my followers. On the other, you are stronger than The Aeson. I'm sure they will at least send special forces, if not invade millitarily."

On the other, you are stronger than The Aeson. I'm sure they will at least send special forces, if not invade millitarily."

OOC: when did I threaten war against you? if you read the post, he was joking about that comment. :P
Amazonian Beasts
24-05-2006, 22:16
"Well that's a start. We can prepare for their moves. Now I have another question. How large of a base of followers do you have in Aeson?"
The Aeson
24-05-2006, 22:23
OOC: Well, not war so much as...

Shall another Jaredcohenian die, it will not be a good day to be living in The Aeson.

Which Ehzno, who had eyes and ears in the palace at that point, in case you were wondering, took as threatening war.

"Well that's a start. We can prepare for their moves. Now I have another question. How large of a base of followers do you have in Aeson?"

"Before my fall from grace, I had quite a large base. After Keene's Appeal, however, many of them laid down their arms. If I, in turn, appealed to them, a substantial portion of those might take up arms again, but I cannot give a definitive number. I do know, however, that there are about two-hundred faithful who will rise up if I ask it of them."
Amazonian Beasts
24-05-2006, 22:34
"Loyal enough to potentially instigate a rebellion?" Delta probed.
The Aeson
24-05-2006, 22:36
"The two hundred? Yes. The others? I do not know. Before Keene's Appeal, I would have said yes, but now? The only good thing to come of that is that Keene is now comatose. Some of them, yes."
Amazonian Beasts
24-05-2006, 22:40
"Good. They may have a part if it comes to war. That is all for now, I will return later if my government needs more."

Delta walked out of the room, the door closing behind him. Ezhno was interesting indeed. Now the government had to delay for a little until the Aeson inferred that the Dominion had not recieved the message...nothing like a little worry...

We have no reports of some "Ezhno" residing within our borders, no reports of any reported "Ezhno" crossing border checkpoints. We feel that you have simply been mistaken, and encourage your national guard to continue your search elsewhere.

That would throw off the probing eyes...maybe not for long, but at least buy the Amazonians time to finish up securing Ezhno before the retaliation came in.

"Do you believe them, General Marcus?" Chandra asked her intelligence advisor. Marcus thought for a moment and then shook his head.

"It feels wrong. There's nothing in the letter that I can justify this on though. But I'm convinced that he is there. Blak and I have had the building under 24/7 surveillance, and no one looking even vaguely like Ehzno has gone in or out. If it was just a lookalike our guy spotted, he should have turned up again by now."

It is possible, and indeed likely that Ehzno would use a false name while
fleeing justice. Given the extent of his brief support, he certainly would have
access to false identification. Enclosed are photographs of Ehzno. We ask

Delta laughed when his division got word of the comm by Aeson in return to the quick bluff. They didn't seem to be buying it, but one never knew. Still, preparations in the underground installation were going along pretty well, the once somewhat small bunker now expanded into a large, cavernous base, complete with automated security traps, concealed machine guns run by remote and manned turrets scattered throughtout. Closing bulkheads, blast doors, and heavy armor plate defended the installation against all sorts of attack. It would only be a matter of time before they came looking for Ezhno.
Delta decided to pay their visitar another visit...he needed to warn him that intervention by the pursuing nations was likely at any time, with such a buildup of tension.
Closing the retracting heavy door behind him, Delta stepped into Ezhno's cool room, quiet once again before speaking to the man.

"Your pursuers are likely to come at any time. Tensions are growing frayed."

Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry was concocting more messages, diplomatic and unassuming enough to keep the Aeson on edge without revealing too much, or what they didn't want the Aeson to discover.

To the Aeson Foreign Ministry-

While our backround checks are quite thorough, we have no file on record of such a man describing the physical features indicated by the pictures. However, it is certainly possible that the man in question has changed his looks, and we will dispatch our police forces to make a calndestine search. We bid you patience in this matter, and likely it will all be summed up.

Delta smiled at Ezhno's inquiry. The Dominion had secular interests, too...no mere kind sheltering of a runaway was merely for the kind act.

"Simply put," Delta replied, "you provide interest to us to make advances on the Aeson, if they try and enter the Dominion without authorization. If they do, and it is more of a question of when now, we will find the reason to begin preying on them. However, we would be more than happy to assist you and your followers in the crusade against their legislature."

OOC: Hello everyone, I'm here to do my job. I'll be in and out of this thread rather quickly, unless otherwise detained.

IC: Hidden in the ExOps facility a strike team was being assembled, they were briefed on their mission, target, AO, and each other's specialties. They were being sent in by a customer to eliminate a target by the name of "Ehnzo" or as they knew him "Target: Heretic." It didn't matter that they had no idea who was sending them, they were being paid, and thats all that mattered. After the briefing the team, comprised of two men and two women moved on to the armory. It was evident that their target wasn't going to be an easy kill, so each equipped for a stealth assassination. They took sniper rifles and submachine guns and a moderate amount of ammo, then prepared to head to the airport.

They wore normal civilian clothes, and looked, to all others, like a pair of happy couples heading off on a trip to Amazonian Beasts. Their gear was sent to their safe-house, small apartment in A.B. via a trusted courier who delivered the gear inside the safe house, and hid it away where anyone other than the mercenaries would not find it. The team boarded their plane to A.B. and looked the part of the loving couples, but that as they knew was a front. They knew that there was no way to trace them back to ExOps or to find out who their employer was, especially since they didn't know. All information about them that would have given away their identities was modified and they were traveling under assumed names they had created long ago. They knew that until they actually attempted the assassination, they were safe, but that didn't mean they were at ease.

OOC: Since my Mercs would know this ahead of time: Are there windows into Ehnzo's room? If so, can they be hit and breached in a single shot from outside the compound by an accomplished sniper with a large caliber (14.5mm or .57 caliber) weapon? In concert with this, are the windows bulletproof if they are accessible? In the event the answer to those questions are no: During any given time would Ehnzo be vulnerable to said sniper during an average day and night? If so then when?
What is the area around his location like, vegetation, colors, ect.?
The answers to these questions will directly modify my assassination attempt. I would prefer to operate via a sniper, but if necessary I have more, direct, means of elimination waiting in the wings. I appreciate if these could be answered very promptly.

IC: The flight fom Shenyang landed and the mercenaries left the aircraft, after a long and generally annoying trip through security they made thier way to the apartment where they would be operating out of. They entered and while remaining completely in-character swept the place for any bugs, cameras, or other surveilance devices. It was clear, they began setting up their tactical command room, they chose a room where no one could see in from the windows of the building from any angle and set up their computers, maps of the target area, dossiers on all important threats and Target: Heretic. By the time they finished the room looked like a proper command room. They procured their weapons from the hidden safe below the floor in the second bed room, under the bed, and each mercenary checked over their weapons.
The first female mercenary, Nachtigall (Nightingale) took her M-107M.57SD sniper rifle, custom designed to work with the massive and overly-deadly Dectoral S-3 .57 caliber APFSDS armor piercing round, it was a massive, heavy weapon designed to punch holes in APCs, however whe had found that it was perfect for reaching out and touching a target with a large supersonic chunk of tungsten. It was a bit of an odd pairing, as Nachtigall was about as tall as her weapon was long with its surpressor attached, which was alomost always. She was accurate to within a hair's breadth at ranges of up to 2 kilometers and could still put a round down range and into a target for a kill at 2 miles. As a result she had been a definite for this operation.
Her partner, Vogel (Bird) hefted his G3KA4SD assault rifle, he checked that it was in good order, finding that it was just as he remembered it he moved on, it was his job to cover Nachtigall while she worked, and he was a master with his weapon, his entire job was to keep her safe, and since they'd been operating together for the past 3 years, obviously he was doing a fine job. The two of them would be leaving ExOps after this job, to pursue other interests.
The second man, Equinox procured his AUG-A3-SD from the bunker, he attached his ACOG Reflex amber dot sight to the rail atop the weapon and gave it a through check to ensure it was in good working order. He used the dreaded Dectoral Mk. 2C APMHPSR round, it would punch through body armor and then shatter within the target, causing almost immediate death from massive blood-loss and internal trauma, this made it a rather unpopular round among anyone on the recieving end, and the love of those sending it as a tiny packet of death. He and his teammate were trained in close combat, if the sniper failed, they'd go in and settle the mission quickly, and violently.
Lastly Autumn hefted her SAR-21-MMS assault rifle. A small but deadly rifle that she absolutely loved. She loaded and then removed Beta C-Mag and then ejected the loaded round and put it back into the mag. She couldn't be beat in close combat by anyone else that she had encountered, friendly or otherwise. She had been a special forces soldier in the Ruthless Slaughter prior to her employment at ExOps, though she never spoke about it, and no one really knew what it was she did, from her combat expertise, they assumed it wasn't pleasant. The mercenaries began planning their assault.

OOC: Windows? It's an underground installation. If you've seen Independence Day, it's a little like the Area 51 Compound. Ehzno's room is not all that large (maybe 15' by 12') but allows enough room to manuever. The sniper won't do you much good, the assault rifle much more (since the installation doesn't particularly have any large areas, more just a winding set of passages with some built-in auto defenses).
The installation on the outside is just a one-story, 4-roomed small building, with a concrete slab covering the 1st room to the left of the shabby door. Thorugh that is a stone passage that goes for maybe 100 yards (got a few surprises, too) that ends in another concrete door. Thorugh that is the opening corridor of the installation.

OOC: So I should assume he just hangs out underground all day? If so, then I have a contingency, but that's a little surprising if its true.

OOC: Well, Amazonian Beasts probably realize that I have survelliance here, and they're trying to keep their sheltering of Ehzno secret, so...

OOC: Sorry this took so long, really bad weeks recently, no time to do much of anything but stay alive. Anyway, I finally have the finalized method down for the contingency plan, here I go.

IC:

Vogel turned to Nachtigall, and gave her a look that said what he wanted to say, but he voiced his concerns anyway.

Vogel: Nacht, we're going to be in CQB, do you really want to bring that monster with you, it'll be pretty much usesless.

Nachtigall: One moment.

She reach down and withdrew a large bag of components and disappeared off into another room where she swiftly rebuilt her prized M-107M.57-SD into another variant. She emerged with a noticably shorter weapon, an M-107M.57-CQC-SD. It was 16 inches shorter, the silencer on the barrel had been replaced by a much shorter but larger surpressor, which had only a slightly lesser effect on the sound of the weapon. The barrel itself was reduced by 9 inches. She had modified the recoil reduction system within the weapon for an additional 3 inches of travel, making the recoil similar to a 12 gueage shotgun, except almost all backward, with little upward flip on the barrel. There was also a new additional reduction system at the rear of the stock, which added another 2 inches of travel to the recoil system. she affixed a folding forward grip to the weapon and attached an M-68 Aimpoint sight to the top rail of the weapon. Finally she gave an actual answer.

Nachtigall: Yes, I do plan to carry my babay into that hell hole. I bet I register more kills than you Vogel.

Vogel: You're on Nacht. Everybody grab some side arms, and load up on ammo, we don't want to be caught without ammo on this, we're estimating a helluva lot of resistance down there.

Equinox: Not a problem.

Equinox snagged 4 pistols from the weapons locker. A pair of Glock model 18 .40 S&W handguns, in addition to a Desert Eagle and a Beretta 93R. He loaded his tactical vests with ammo and assorted presents for the guards.

Autumn procured a pair of AMT Automag V pistols, affixed silencers to the monster weapons, larger than even the Desert Eagle. She filled every pouch with ammunition and explosives.

Vogel procured a single Mk 23 SOCOM and took a heavy load of ammo, grenades, and additional kit.

Lastly Nachtigall procured a Steyr TMP and loaded the submachine gun. She grabbed and gear that she knew would be necessary.

Autumn: That's not a sidearm Nachtigall.

Nachtigall: Really, if I can shoot it with one hand its a sidearm. Just look at your Automags.

Autumn: Okay, you have a point.

The team began to plan their assault. Through the intelligence they had recieved they had a blueprint of the facility, and a map of the surrounding area, as well as intel on the defensive capabilities of the facility. they had a brilliant plan of attack, one that would hopefully circumvent the entire defensive system, if they could make it work.

OOC: I'll have the actual assault in about 3 days, unfortunate timing of events is all I'll say. It won't take two weeks like the last post. promise.

OOC: Here we go. I hope.

IC:
The strike team had their plan ready, they proceeded to put it into action. It was 11:00PM They loaded into their vehicle, a small, inconspicuous car, and drove toward their target, the underground facility where Ehnzo was being housed. They quickly went through their plan. They readied gear as they approached the drop off point. Everyone got ready to head into combat they attached silencers to their weapons, and prepared to hide their car. They pulled off the road and swiftly hid the vehicle. It was invisible from the road, they climbed out and donned camoflauge and covertly moved toward their objective.

They reached a perimeter fence. Autumn quickly and efficiently checked for any traps in the area. Finding none they cut through the fence and then swiftly soldered the fence back it solid. It would hold up to inspection, if any guard found it, but it wasn't perfect, then gain, nothing ever was. Moving quickly they swept the area ahead of them for any traps. Finding none once more they moved on. Vogel produced a radio and set it to channel search. Within a few moments it found the frequency that the guards were using to communicate. He set the radio on that channel and then hooked it into an earpiece, so he could monitor the enemy. The team kept moving. They came upon a pair of guards on ATVs, they immediately assessed their options, circumvent, incapacitate, or eliminate.
At this point they couldn't afford to give any indications that they were on the base, it would complicate things exponentially. They chose to circumvent the guards, sweeping stealthilly around them and disappearing before the guards had the chance to notice that something was up. From their intelligence that meant they were almost to the facility. On the other side of a slight hill lay the facility proper, they quickly guaged the defensive readines of the area below them. A quick thermal scan found that there were a dozen guards. Ten prowled the grounds, while another pair were insie the facility. This complicated entry, so they waited. At 12:25 AM the guards entered the facility, to switch with the next shift. The mercenaries moved in through the blindspot that this created and quickly gained control of the facility's roof. They had found a dead zone in the enemy's defensive net, and now, atop the facility, had to get in and cause some havoc. The ventilation system would do nicely for this. They opened the grates covering a vent and prepared to enter.

Vogel: 50 seconds until the new guards are in a position where they'll hear you kill that vent Equinox.

Equinox: Roger, I only need 5 more.

A dull thud issued from the machinery, which promptly stopped, the team moved through and re-sealed the vent behind them. As they passed the fan itself the machine came back to life, and was back up to operating speed just 10 seconds before the guards were outside the facility to notice. The contractors quickly removed their heavy camoflauge gear and stowed it inside the vents. They would need it later. The team now wore urban camoflauge flightsuits with their assorted gear over that. They reviewed their map of the facility and moved silently through the vents. They would take them to the elevator shaft, and straight to their target, HERETIC.

Reaching the elevators unnoticed Autumn took the lead, she carefully she carefully check for any devices that would serve to ruin their plan. A motion detector was placed opposite the vent, which she noticed immediately, and dealt with it promptly, she carefully took a microwave scrambler from her gear and pulsed it toward the piece of machinery, it hissed for a few moments, all she needed to take it and adjust the settings to the point that a stampede of elephants could pass it, and the sensor wouldn't trigger. The rest of the shaft clear, down 4 floors was the elevator, slowly making its way up with some of the staff aboard, leaving head home for the night. As the elevator reached the top of its travel the team slid onto its roof. They would ride it down to the floor where their target was located and attack him swiftly, and without mercy, as per their orders.

The elevator slowly descended, the team stayed flat against the roof, so as to remain hidden from any further sensors in the shaft. The elevator stopped a floor above the team's objective, so Nachtigall quickly shorted the system, and the elevator, once the doors closed, descended two floors and locked in place for 5 minutes, during this time the team covertly entered the next area, by way of the elevator doors, the area beyond was guarded by a pair of soldiers standing groggilly at attention. A little knock-out gas from a well timed grenade put them out for several minutes, while the team entered the vents and recovered the spent grenade, which was hidden inside a side path within the system. HERETIC's room was on a separate system from the amin facility, which meant the contractors couldn't just drop in and say good bye with a well-placed shot to the head, they would have to deal with the target's bodyguard. This man, would have to be eliminated if the team wanted to complete thier mission. So far they were undetected, the only damage they had caused was a damaged motion sensor, and two sleeping guards, nothing to really be too worried about, and of course, that was the idea.

Enemy radio traffic had shown no signs of disturbance so far, and that was a very good thing for the team, it meant that they didn't expect what was coming. The team moved in toward their objective. It was 1:48AM when they reached their tactical assault area. The room they were to attack was right next to them, the anticipation set in, now hey would find out if their intel was any good. Vogel and Nachtigall moved to a room across the hall, a storage room, and got ready for Autumn and Equinox to trigger their diversion, a smoke bomb in a nearby room.

Equinox: Package is delivered, moving into position, detonation in 30 seconds.

Nachtigall: Roger that, ready when you are.

Autumn: In position, 10 seconds left, lets do this thing.

Equinox: Better hope this body armor holds.

Autumn: Roger, detonation, now. Move in in 5 seconds... NOW!

The team dropped into the rooms and moved to the doors, they hoped that the smoke alarm and loud bang of the bomb itself had confused the guard, but they had no way to know for sure. They opened their doors and attacked simultaneously. Nachtigall had a clear shot at Delta from the door, before he could react a round caught him in the stomach. Somehow he survived and returned fire, Nachtigall ducked behind cover as Vogel and Autumn sprayed the hall with ammo. Return fire continued as Vogel quickly jammed the guards radio. Nachtigall rolled back into the line of fire and placed another round down-range into the guard, who doubled over and fell to the ground, he was covered in blood, but he was still breathing, which meant that he wasn't dead. The team rushed forward and Autumn quickly restained the dying man. He didn't have to die, and if he was lucky, he would survive the encounter yet.

Nachtigall put a round into the lock on the door and instantly shattered the lock, blowing the door back on its hinges in addition. The contractors swept into the room and sprayed down the area with gun fire. HERETIC was caught in the line of fire and fell. He wasn't dead yet, that would need to be fixed. Autumn moved up and emptied an AutoMag V into HERETIC as he lay dying on the ground, cameras affixed to the team's gear recorded the moment for confirmation of the kill with their employers.

Vogel: We have 1 minute before security forces arrive, time to go.

Nachtigall: Roger, lets get out of here, now.

The team ran back into the rooms from which they had emerged and swiftly re-entered the vents. They moved swiftly, knowing that in only a few moments the enemy would have the entire area locked down. The enemy forces flooded out of the elevators and into the area, hunting the intruders, the one area they didn't check was the vents. The team reached the elevator lobby on the target floor and fund it crawling with guards. This left only one option, blow a hole into the elevator shaft from the vents. A difficult proposition.

Equinox placed a shaped charge onto the wall and then fell back a safe distance, he triggered the explosive, blowing a hole into the shaft the size of the vent.

Equinox: Move!

The team quick slipped out into the shaft and onto the elevator, which conveniently had a ladder affixed to its side, in case of emergency, and to allow access to the systems for maintainence. They shorted the elevator, no need to worry about the doors anymore, they were obviously in the facility, and rocketed up the shaft, reaching the vent they had entered and moving into it in record time. They moved to recover their gear from the vent nd found it was undisturbed they gathered it and exitted the vents stealthilly. The grounds were crawling with guards, and lights shone over the entire area. A transport truck dropped off troops from a nearby barracks, that was the team's ticket out of the facility.

The team killed the lights and eliminated the soldiers on the grounds with lightening bursts of fire. The ran to the truck, careful to avoid any traps, and quickly took control of the vehicle. Vogel took the wheel and the truck accelerated awat from the facility at high speed, Nachtigall planted an HE round into a fuel tank next to the base, which eliminated several vehicles, that could be used to pursue the team. They ditched the truck and reached their car undetected, and drove off to another safe house within the country. After a two hour stop there, they were on a charter flight out of the country, the pilot had strict orders not to turn around for anything, and thas what he did. He flew the contractors to a stop-over point in another country. The team boarded a flight back to Shenyang, and safety, knowing that there was no way they could be traced, they had worn mirrored sunglasses and black balaclavas, make up, and assorted disguise props to foil any attempts at recognizing them. The team actually had looked like select members of True Aesonist groups, making the investigation of the murder all the more interesting. Their voices had been disguised, after years of learning to fake voices, and a recovery team eliminated all evidence within their appartments, essentially as far as the company was concerned, this had never happened, so they were being payed for nothing, a very handy methodology when you operate in the world of private military contracting.

After extensive debriefings and reviews of the video of the mission, Executive Operations deemed the operation a success and sent confirmation to their employers.

OOC: Where am I where? Like the location of my region/nation? In that case, the region is C A D, and the area, well, my nation would be in the middle of the South-Western Pacific Ocean. However the climate of my nation is way way off for that area, but that's not the point. That's pretty much where I am.

If you mean my actual location, you're not getting it, and if you mean something else, then if you could clarify your question, that'd be good.
