Clarania is a nation known for its Imperial Family. The current Imperial Family descends from a man known as Damien of Starania (may change). However, Damien is known for this. He had married his own daughter and she bore him children, including a son. Now, Damien taught his son to have relations with his sisters and mother and in fact, Damien's son married one of his own sisters and she bore him children. And well, incest flows through the picture.
The family would probably have genetic disorders (Damien did deposed the Octavian Imperial Family, still in exile from centuries ago) from its centuries of incest among its ranks. In fact, Damien III is known for watching his sons with his daughters in ''things''.
Damien IV tried to stop incest in his family but failed, his son Damien V, from a noblewoman married to Damien V continued it, that is seen by marrying all of his sisters and mother at once, becoming the ''Incestuous Polygamist''.
The current Emperor is married to a noblewoman and does have children but does not follow incest or the ways of the past rulers.
