I was watching the movie "Gettysburg" today and i though, wow wouldnt the whole [american] civil war be a great RP? I mean each nation could be a famous or not so famous general/commander? Think about it peeps.

Hells yeah! I'm interested. This sounds like a great rp idea. I don't know what I want to be yet, though.

that sounds cool. maybe you could even make it more of an alternate history thing and involve other nations, making it a WW.

i think this is going to be a great RP yall...
One Issue that is with the Army of the Potomac who had several different generals... so that would be a problem. i guess someone could be lincoln and fire and replace. ex: Burnside was just a divisional commander b4 he became teh commander of the Potomac Army

Hooker was not a major general at the start of the war though now was he?

Not sure, let me check on that and i'll change it afterwards, I tihnk he made Major General after Gettysburg, but i'm not to sure.

Oh well, i'll stil lbe him, he also retired with the increased rank of Major General, so I think they gave it to him AFTER the Civil War, lol.

I'll play as a confederate. My Great-Grand Grandfather was a Lieutenant in the Confederate Army. I dont know many other commanders who arent taken for the confederacy, so could i play as myself? Or if not, give me an infantry commander and i'll be fine.

Do we have to do things by the book? Or are we going to Alternate history it? Some RPs forced me to do events by the book, like a couple WWII ones.
