OCC: Open to anyone

This is a PT rp set in 1180. The time of the Second Crusades and surrounds the crusader states and the Moslem kingdoms. The center of the religious and culturual clash is Jerusalem. A holy city of great importance to the three great religions. The fledgling Crusader States struggle to maintain the Holy Land. The Moslems are almost unified under the rule of Saladin who hoped to expel the crusaders and recapture Jerusalem. But, an uneasy and fragile peace exists. One which can break at any moment and plunge the Holy Land into blood and despair. What part will you play in the controversial time in history? Will you be a crusader? Will you be a Moslem warrior? Or will you just try to survive in the hostile enviroment?

History: Ciaran is an older Irish knight, in the service of an English lord. His family's land was captured in a war before Ciaran was born, and became a fiefdom. After years of faithful military service he was knighted. He has traveled on his lord's behalf to the Holy Land, where he now resides. He is very strong, fast and loyal, and is skilled with the lance and the claymore.

BBorn to parents on the english high court he quickly showed alonging for adventure. then when he was 19 the crusadeds started. He rode his horse to constantonople and was sent on the first crusade.

History: Adrien is not a soldier, but rather a priest representing the Christian cause who embarks on this journey in hopes of spreading The Church of Catholicism to the Saracens. Although young in terms of priests, Adrien is 43 and on the old side of life, but his wisdom will prove useful in tight situations. His skills as a priest will be utilized more, but he was quite a strong man in his younger years and is by no means weak. He brings with him traveling robes, 7 years supply of unspoilable food, a dagger, and his staff/sceptre.

History: Niall was known as a decent warrior in Scotland, especially in the Highlands where he was born. When he was 21 he went to join the Crusades to prove himself. His unit won great reknown in the first crusade, but disbanded when it ended. Some warriors went home, other stayed. Niall stayed, wandering and fighting. He rarely travels alone however, and is usually with one of the many friends he has made over the years. He is known as a good man with most churches in The Holy Lands, but is on no one side of this conflict. He has Crusader and Moslem friends, and uses his claymore wisely, helping the innocent and deposing the cruel.

History: Vaya is technically in Exile from his Southeast Asian homeland kingdom of Funan/Chenla. His extended family had been cast out when he was 12 because one of his Uncles had somehow offended several very important officail in the Court. He is a Buddhist...originally of the Southern Schools. But he grows more interested in the Yogis of the Indies, the Illumanatii Sufis reached him during the families exile in the Burmas. It was there to he heard of the Maha schools and of Great Mecca and Baghdad. When he reached the Age of Maturity at 16 he set off across North India to make the Pilgramage of the Shakyamuni. Then at 20 he left for Baghdad and finally to Damascus. He has the appearance of an Oriental scholar and a esoteric holy man.

History: Born to a family of Norwegian descent that held a fairly large fief, but due to being the second born surviving son of the land holder was not entitled to inherit much land, with his family’s blessing, he took a Crusader vow and headed east. As well, he has established good relations with the knights Templar and Hospitaller. Now, he hopes to defeat the Infidel and make the holy city of Jerusalem, free from all influences of the Infidel.
