Three Hours Later
Imperial Department of Intelligence
Outskirts of Cravna, Cravan

The manilla envelope crashed onto the table with a loud crack, and the Director of Intelligence immediately opened it, and removed the photos.

"Two hours worth of photos there, sir, along with a two hour real-time video. This facility is our target, sir."

The Director looked up.

"And what exactly is here?"

The Director of Electronic Intelligence cleared his throat.

"We believe the latest version of the Kraven Centurion is being produced and developed at this facility-"
"Which is something we want to find out more about."
"Indeed, sir."

The Director stood up, and walked to the window.

"How should we go about this?"
"Well, sir... There is always..."
"Indeed there is. Get Franklin."
"Yes, sir."

Residence of Thomas Selkan
Cravna, Cravan

It was raining out as he sat, watching the news. The situation was heating up in Ruvitio, and he knew E2 had already been deployed.

The phone rang... But not just any phone. His encrypted government issue phone...

"Selkan."
"Tom, we need you here at IDI. You have a job."
"I'll be right there.", he said in his gruff voice. He donned his coat, and turned off the television. He locked the door, and walked down the steps to the garage. With a loud yelping, his sports car which cost him nothing was unlocked. He opened the garage door, and pulled out. He got on the highway, and made his way to the IDI. He flashed his ID at the gate, and pulled into his usual parking spot...

*************

"So if I get in there, where do I go from there?"
"Well, you should try to find your way to the labs and production facilities. We don't have any intel on the interior of the facility, so try to keep as silent as possible. Refrain from killing anyone unless absolutely necessary. If this op goes off without a hitch, you shouldn't have to fire your weapon once."
"So what am I looking for?"
"A computer mainframe... Files... Anything that could contain intelligence is useful. Even if we don't get the desired intel it is intel."
"When do I leave?"
"As soon as we gather enough intel about the area so we can find a way to get you in."
"Well then... I'll be preparing my gear..."

"So, you're going through with this?"

Selkan slammed the action of his FN2000 shut, and looked up.

"Of course I am, Marty. I've been ordered to, and I will do it."
"Well, I'll be with you every step of the way, my friend."

Selkan lifted his pistol from the table, and slammed in a magazine.

"Good to know."

At that moment, the door opened, filling the dark equipment room with light.

"Tom, head on back to the Director's office. He needs to speak to you."
"Tell his highness I'll be right there."
"Sure thing."

****************

"More photos of the area, sir."
"Excellent. When will Tom be getting his ungrateful ass up here?"
"Soon enough, sir. You know he doesn't like to be rushed when preparing."
"Quite true."

The Director looked over the extremely detailed photos of the area, along with some video taken of the area which detailed guard movements and defenses.

"We might be able to get him in here..."

OOC: If you want, you can RP what he sees, Kraven. Just so I know what I can do to get into said facility.

The Photographs

The photographs showed detailed and intimate layouts of the city itself, and where the facility was located deep underground, this region of Arterus was very dry and arid and as such rainfall was poor, so to keep the facility supplied with water, cooling towers forced the warm air from the desert up into long towers that had temperature controlled thermal plates on the sides of the tower, condensation would form, then drop to the bottom of the tower, where it would be collected and sent down into the facility and the city via large bore pipes.

These Cooling towers was the only thing that gave any indication of the facilities presence, that and a small road that seemingly dissappeared into the desert sands.

The City however was like any other Kraven city, its buildings were in an iron grid pattern, with its buildings often 30 story tower blocks housing many people, surrounding the city itself was a heavily fortified wall and what appeared to be many many massive Artillery peices, dwarfing any other stationary Artillery peice seen in the Kraven arsenal, the usual size used on Fortifications...

Troop formations were scattered across the city, either patrolling key points such as Headquaters, the wall itself, the facility Wind Traps, and the general streets itself, Large APC's also were parked on street corners or seen to be driving down streets, what appeared to be an immensely powerfull Flak Network covered the city, and various and obvious SAM Sites were dotted around here and there, generaly this was more of a Fortress than a City...

The Video

The Video didn't show anything different that the photographs didn't, Squads patrolled the streets, marching in units of 25, while groups of two patrolled the pavements, APCs moved along the streets, often following a set patrol route, but sometimes at random deveating from it.

The Video did show a few things though, Citizens being stopped at random and having their persons searched, their ID's checked and some even being executed where they stood, for what ever reason that might be, one could only guess...

Those watching the video, would feel like they were giants looking down on an evil and terrorfying Ant Colony...

"There. We can insert him right there."

The Director noticed a gap in the patrols and defenses for less than a miniute at one of the areas on the wall. It was estimated that Selkan could make it up the wall and over in time, then remain unseen by ducking into the shadows on the other side.

"Then, he can make his way through the city by night, and make it to this tower..."

He pointed to the tower.

"And somehow find a way inside. Now, if that doesn't work... We extract him and hope that these new Centurions don't enter service anytime soon. The op shouldn't last more than a few hours. Then he lays low during the day, then moves out the next night. Got it?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good. He's to be deployed immediately...."
