Outrage gripped the nation of Cruxium today as a BioFarm Projects facility was attacked by a group calling themselves the 'Green Hand of God'.

The daring raid on this LifeWyze facility has prompted action from LifeWyze BioTech in the form of an increase in security. Dozens of PorGan Donor Pigs were released from their stys, while important documents were burned and countless samples destroyed. When interviewed, a LifeWyze spokesman had this to say;

"LifeWyze BioTech is not only shocked but disgusted by the behaviour of these anarchist individuals seeking to stunt the progress of science. No expense shall be spared in ensuring that these heinous criminals are brought to Imperial Justice and executed for their crimes."

The ISDC have assured Empire News that the noose of justice is closing about the necks of these activists. Updates on this will be coming soon.

Update on the BioFarm terrorist attack: Five foreign citizens have been arrested by the ISDC and are undergoing questioning. Experts believe that atleast fifteen more men and/or women were involved and therefore are still at large. If you know anyone acting suspiciously, report them to your nearest Palace of Justice.

BioFarm Projects have recovered the majority of the PorGan Donors. If you discover one, do not make contact as they are vulnerable to infection. Interesting, another mislead and egoisitic Atheist country whos banned religion. Such intolerant countries seem to be springing up every where in these rather turbulent times. One may say that my following statement is foolish, as no Jagites would dare to go within ten miles of Cruxium, due to your dictatorship and tyrannical policies--though our business with persecution by dictators upon their people doesn't just end at 'if we have people there we are concerned'.

We extend our sphere of influence to the persecuted religious peoples of the World--and not just Christianity. I, and the Republic, can tolerate your people disliking religion, myself and the Republic can tolerate you not encouraging religion or even banning public symbols of religious affliation. Though we cannot and will not stand idly by while you put a permanent, or even tempoary, ban on Religion.

Jagada isn't a 'bully state' like some other democracies are--and I'm sure your banning of religion is prehaps the only liberal act that has ensured that other liberal nations haven't swarmed over you in search of glory--as you are an Empire, not a Republic or Direct Democracy. We will 'back down' if you lift your ban on religion. If you fail to at least lift this ban, and refuse to allow Freedom of Religion, then more direct methods may be explored to ensure that you comply.

The Empire of Cruxium has long outlawed religion. It is not in the nature of the Empire to change policies due to the preferences of other countries and as such shall not lift the Religious Restriction Law.

Religion was outlawed to prevent social stigma and encourage national pride, it is im the best interest of the people. Sir Irvine, your statements may seem logical to some Atheistic countries, but not to Jagada. Our nation is a testament to how religion is productive to society. Our nation, our culture, our very lives are built around Religion, primarily Christianity I admit, but we have nearly all religions within our borders. We have made laws to ensure that religions are kept peaceful, we have such tools as the Inquisition which roots out militant religious extremeism, we have education programs which ensure children grow up being tolerant. Thus your argument that by banning religion you forge unity is flemsy at best.

Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Press, and Freedom of Thought are all secondary to Freedom of Religion. If a man, woman, or child does not have the freedom to pray to his God than he is not truly free--and it only pretending that he lives free. I can understand your unwillingness to 'bow' to foreign pressure, but I assure you, Jagada will not bow. We will stand up for Our God, and for Religions (even the ones I personally disagree with), we will ensure that wherever religion is persecuted we are there to oppose it. Neither you, nor anyone who comes to your side, will circumvent this.

All we ask is that you lift the ban on religion, allow churches or mosques to be built and ensure they are protected. Allow people to worship their God, god, or gods--for doing anything less is circumventing freedom. As stated before, we shall continue to seek diplomacy but we will not try forever. At this moment, the 7th, 8th, and 9th Fleets are being summoned to battle. In recent genetic tests religion is shown to be caused by specific impulses in the brain. Further testing showed that subjects whose impulses were supressed were unable to comprehend theism in any form. As such LifeWyze BioTech must stand by the nation of Cruxium in its' decision to outlaw religion for the good of the people.

Official Statement

Currently the nation of Jagada intends an embargo against Cruxium by military naval vessels in an attempt to dictate Cruxium national policy. As we have almost no military, being a peaceful country, we request the aid of foreign powers to prevent this injustice.

The Nation of Jagada, in its' aggressive moves, proves to Cruxium that religion is a cause of ill and strengthens the will of the Emperor to keep religion outlawed lest such radical forces arise within our borders. Religion shall remain illegal within Cruxium for the good of the people.

Socio-Psycological studies done over the coarse of a thousand years, starting with the now defunct Ministry of Knowledge, and most recently conducted by The Moorington Institution of Wisdom, have all stated that in some parts of the World persecution of religion does indeed cause people to go to extremes to try and change that problem. Though in Jagada, religions is positive as it lowers suicide rates, increases happiness, and ensures people are productive and generious. Recently, United Nations Stat Collectors (UNSC) visited Jagada and rated us within the top five thousand countries in the World with the Nicest Citizens, and first in our region. I assure you, Religion forges unity.

Your study seems rather flawed. I invite some of your recent members of your Scientific Studies Branch to come to Jagada and take a two year coarse at the Lordship University in New Christendom. I assure you, I myself graduated from there and it can provide a great deal of knowledge to your students. In fact, I'm sure the Republic will even cover the cost of this.

Green Hand of God activists have been captured. Twenty-seven people have been apprehended and tried, of which twenty-four have been found guilty of breaking and entering, criminal damage, use of a religious word with intent and forming a religion-based and terrorist organisation. News Update

The Empire of Cruxium watched eagerly today as the twenty-four people, eighteen male, six female, responsible for the attacks on a BioFarm Projects facility were executed.

Execution took place at 13:00 Imperial Standard Time. All convicted members of the terrorist organisation Green Hand of God were remorseless today as they were walked to the gallows. As the noose was tied about the necks of the terrorists, a cheer went up from the crowd, only to be followed by more enthusiastic cheers as the floor panels were dropped.

Reperations have been made to LifeWyze BioTech by the families of the deceased.
