I roleplay a collection of differant timelines for my nation, mainly MT, PMT, and FT. My MT and PMT nations have differant geography and only a vague historicle connection, and my MT nations equipment is modern and in-the-works German, plus Russian and fictional ships I have purchased.

So I saw an "MT" intro thread, joined in... and had my G36 toting, Leopard driving, Sovremenny sailing MT troops up against supertanks, missile drones, and railguns. That is very definately PMT.

So what happened to actual, honest to god, within-ten-years-of-now MT? If anyone has advice about this problem or a good real MT rp for me, please post.

I think that this is because people get bored of modern stuff *real* quick, and like to design their own things. These are often out of the boundaries of what you'd call MT (Railguns have slowly developed their way into MT somehow) but I think if you really wanna use RL stuff, which I find quite boring, try get into AMW (A Modern World), not sure who to ask anymore but the community is pretty good and all the RPers there are good.

I have nothing against creating your own a equipment, but it should simply use modern technologies. Thaks, I'll look into this AMW, but if all else fails, I'm gonna have to merge my MT and PMT versions.
