King Julian Dies, The New King

Remenevia
21-05-2006, 01:35
Today, King Julian of Remenevia has died at the age of 39. He has no children, so his family is looking for brothers or sisters to succeed him. The Orthodox Church is holding a funeral service in the Cathedral of the Theotokos in Remenevia's capital.

The most likely successor is Prince Vladimir of Remenevia. Vladimir is a devout Orthodox Christian and is known for his kindness and polite nature. He is currently engaged to a girl named Anastasia, from the Remenevian nobility.

The Orthodox Church will be holding a coronation for Vladimir some time after the mourning period for Julian.

The funeral for King Julian is in a couple of days (I may not have one or say it happened, still thinking)

-Office of the Chief Minister-

I, the Chief Minister of Polockistan, wish to offer my condolences. It is truly saddening when a bright star implodes at such a young age. I hope that Remenevia recovers from the loss of their leader quickly, for I hate to think about what such a tragedy would do to their economy.

On behalf of the Socialist Federation of Tombo-Bill, we offer our condolences.
We however hope that your government remains secular and the new king does not let his orthodox religion get the better of him.

Heil!
