The Empire of Zumorito is a a very large, pleasant and environmentally stunning nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of of 92 million are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings" or "human resources." The enormous, corrupt, moralistic government concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Defence is a secondary priority. The average income tax rate is 36%, but much higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Pizza Delivery, and Trout Farming industries. Voting is compulsory, although a dictator has seized power and outlawed elections, newborns are being raised as mindless killing machines, and Dragons are considered a delicacy. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Zumorito's national animal is the Dragon, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its and its currency is the dead enemy's blood.
The Empire is located on a chain of volcanic islands near what once was Japan, (although the people look more like a mix of Jumon, Russians and Pacific islanders) the islands had been shrouded by cloud cover and undiscovered for almost 1,000 years but finnaly, Zumorito has re-entered the world after series of violent weather events. Oddly this happened only after the Empire finnaly won its 400 year civil war against the evil Kang Dynasty and thier allies.
Climate
Zumorito is a pardise, a virtual garden of eden with tropical rainforests, beautiful snow covered mountains, fiery volcanos, miles of beaches and temperate, lightly forested plains.
Economy
Zumorito's Economy, while dominated domestically by the Retail, Pizza Delivery industries (pizza was just discovered and our people love it), is porpped up by massive foreign trout sales. Almost 89% of the waters in Zumorito have Trout Farms.
There is also a small logging industry and medium mining industry which mainly consists of diamond, copper and tungsten mines in the mountainus regions.
Military
The military of the Empire is configured for defense, with the most money going to protecting the miles of coastline, harbors and the trout farms.
The standard firearms use the all new Zumoritan 7.6X40mm round.
All Zumortitan firearms are modifed weapons that were purchased or made under licence from other countries
