Kravania

As the people of Kravania woke up to another weekday morning, they switched on the TVs and watched yet another news report of a brutal rape and murder case. This time it was an 11 year old girl. Her body was found in a local park in the suburbs of Imperial City, she was left by the base of a tree, her naked body covered in her own blood and the body fluids of her rapist. Raped and then stabbed in the chest and stomach, she was just another human statistic in the crime wave that was sweeping the Empire.

Riots and class warfare now engulfed the poorer districts of the Empire's cities, murder and theft englufed the middle classes and the upper class of the Empire had so become corrupt to the point of turning Kravania into a completely ammoral society.

The police and other law enforcement agencies only seemed to be good at lashing out at the populace and making meaningless arrests. Meaningless in that no matter how many people got arrested for criminal activity, it only filled up the prisons of the Empire and did not really seem to stem the tide of crime and social collapse that was now englufing the entire nation.

Months passed and the situation only got worse. Most people under the age of 40 were now hardcore drug addicts, rape was now so common that women did not venture out at night and only went out in the day with a male companion. Even the shopping malls were now empty, for people no longer carried money or credit cards with them anymore, for they knew that they would be mugged in the streets of the Empire's cities.

It seemed like a post apocolyptic nightmare, a once socially stable nation that had now decended into the most cruel barbarities that humans were capable of.

Emperor Constantine I and his Imperial regime seemed totally lost in trying to solve the problems of Kravania's now decaying society. In despair, the Emperor and his Imperial regime spent less time in the capital city and they became reclusive and went into a state of semi isolation at the Emperor's country palace in the forests of eastern Kravania. This process of the Kravanian people and the Imperial regime becoming less connected with each other only made the situation worse and the social ills of Kravania only grew.

Many sociologists and political analysts were also at a lost as to how this situation came about. Under the Empire, the Kravanian people had very high standards of living and politically the nation was at it's most stable, more so than under the previous Fascist system of Atne Pavelic. The economy was stable and showed good rates of growth. So everyone was now confused as to how Kravania's society was now on the verge of a complete breakdown.

Imperial City Bio-Chemical Research Centre, Imperial City, Kravania

A man in his mid 30s and dressed in a black suit complete with a black shirt and black tie was overseeing the closure of Kravania's largest bio-chemical research facility. The man in question was Dr. Stavos Proze, the director of the research facility and one of Kravania's leading scientists.

Dr. Stavos gave the order for the facility to be closed for he had now completed the project that he devoted his entire life to.

Xeroxium, was a new liquid drug, a 'medication' as the Doctor called it and Xeroxium was the invention the Doctor had been working on for well over a decade.

Xeroxium was not intended for the sick, the mentally unstable or any other person with any particular condition. For Dr. Proze had long ago came to the conclusion that the human race itself was sick, the sickness he considered infecting the entire nation and the world at large was human emotion.

Dr. Proze made the project to produce Xeroxium top secret, using other ghost projects to hide the funding for his own project. Even the Emperor and the Imperial Government were not aware of this particular project.

After testing Xeroxium on his human test subjects, Dr. Proze was pleased with the results. The human test subjects no longer had the ability to become content or angry, hopeful or depressed, happy or sad. Even the emotion of love and empathy was wiped out by the daily injection of Xeroxium into the Doctor's test subjects.

Now the research had reached it's conclusion and Xeroxium was now ready for the Doctor's plans for Kravania.

Dr. Proze now had his staff and all research data moved to his compound in the forests of eastern Kravania.

From his compound, Dr. Proze started work on his other project.

Dr. Proze was also the founder and leader of a underground political movement, the New Humanist Movement.

The New Humanist Movement (NHM) was mainly made up of intellectuals, therapists, doctors, scientists and other figures from Kravania's intellectual establishment.

A secretive grouping, organised on the totalitarian model of the Leader Principle. Dr. Ponze was the all powerful leader of the NHM and below him a ruling council of 12 individuals, the High Council of Eternal Wisdom, which carried out the orders of Dr. Ponze and dealt with the lower ranking members of the NHM.

With the NHM now based in Dr. Ponze's compound and the mind controlling drug, Xeroxium in Dr. Ponze's possesion, the time for the NHM and it's leader to strike out at the Empire came ever closer.

ICBM Silo Base No. 24, Northern Kravania

Five days after Dr. Ponze's move, along with the NHM ruling council and other leading members to the Doctor's compound, the NHM began their revolution to destroy the Empire and build the new humanist utopian society that Dr. Ponze had been preaching about for the last few years to his supporters.

At dawn, 3,500 blackshirted armed members of the NHM attacked one of Kravania's nuclear missile bases, in the north of the country. After a four hour battle, they killed the Kravanian Imperial Army unit that guarded the base and took it over. With over 300 nuclear tipped ICBMs under the control of the NHM insurgents, the NHM would now do what was needed to take absolute power.

The NHM made great efforts to recruit computer hackers into it's ranks. Now the NHM hackers, both working on their laptops from Dr. Ponze's compound and ICBM base No. 24 began to fire the ICBMs.

Two hours later, the capital city of Kravania, Imperial City, was destroyed in a huge nuclear inferno, for the second time in Kravania's history.

Other ICBMs struck at major military bases and more importantly the bases of the Imperial Guard, the Emperor's personal army and the elite of the Empire.

Emperor Constantine I and his government were at the Imperial Palace in the eastern countryside of Kravania, when they were hit by one of the ICBMs. The Emperor, along with his entire government and his closest advisors were all killed within a second of the ICBM warhead detonating.

In total, 190 nuclear tipped ICBMs were fired at targets across Kravania and besides killing the Emperor and the government, along with most of the Armed Forces, the civilian death toll was well over 85 million dead.

Then the next phase of the Humanist Revolution began.

Dr. Ponze's compund, eastern Kravania.

A team of NHM hackers were now busy getting into the nation's mass media, by the end of the first day of the revolution, as the nation was still in total shock from the nuclear holocaust that engulfed it only hours before.

The TV screens of the nation were blank for most of the day as the main news and TV stations were based in Imperial City and were destroyed with the nuclear strike on the capital city. However, TV receptors were now picking up the broadcasts from the Doctor's compound.

For the first time, the people of Kravania could see the face of their new ruler. However, Dr. Ponze was never well known by the people of Kravania and he intended to keep it that way. When going on TV to give his first address to the people, Dr. Ponze kept his name and personal details secret. Kravanian's watching their TV screens only saw his face and the title he now gave himself, Father.

Then Dr. Ponze/Father began to give his address:

"Today, we endured a horrible but much needed sacrifice, a sacrifice for the greater good of our brave and perfect new society.

Millions of people were wiped out today on my orders, yet what alternatives did we have, the sad truth my dear children, my beloved people, is that no other alternative ever existed.

But be logical, my children, for the actions our Great Humanist Revolution took today were the result of our great and noble desire to purify the nation and our society from the evils and social ills which we all know plagued us in the old times, before the Great Humanist Revolution.

But as your Eternal Father and as your Beloved Leader, I shall build a brave new world, a world without hate, without ignorance, without hunger and poverty, without crime and social unrest, without class warfare and ethnic and racial hatred, a world without the evil superstitions of religion and false dogmatisms and ideologies.

Let us let go of the barbarity of the past stages of human evolution, for I have the ultimate solution, the next step of human progress and a great leap forward for the process of human evolution.

Xeroxium!

With this new medication, we can finally eradicate the twin evils of human emotion and human individuality.

Emotions, those unstable situations which turn us into barbarians, thugs, animals and lustful degenerates and violent outcasts shall now be a thing of the past.

With the elimination of the human ability to think by and for oneself and the ability to feel emotion, we can build a new master race of superior humans, united as one with the common purpose of our common humanity, we shall end the divisions, be they class, racial, ethnic, cultural, religious and other meaningless classifications, that distort the growth of our species and the evolution of humanity to the final goal of Utopia.

Children, join me and I shall let you grow, let me guide you to your destiny."

With that, the TV screens across the nation went blank again, leaving most Kravanian's totally bewildered as to what type of regime had just taken power in Kravania.

Soon, the TV speeches by Father, on a wide range of subjects such as philosophy, politics, history, economics, sociology, anthropology and other subjects besides, would come to dominate the screens and radio broadcasts of Kravania, as Father was now everywhere, Father would come to dominate everything and penetrate the minds of all Kravanians.

Tonight I'll write up the laws and 'constitution' (not really a consitution but extracts of writings from the books written by Father) of the new Humanist Government and the Humanist Revolution of Kravania.

Although Kravania is in ruins from the huge nuclear attack the Humanist Revolutionaries unleashed upon Kravania, I don't aim for a war RP.

I'd like the opportunity to develop my new totalitarian society.

If you want an idea of what type of government I aim to RP, think 1984/Big Brother, but without the bad living conditions as the economy will be state run but productive and not in near collapse like the failed economy of the 1984 state, Oceania.

OOC: Is this new constitution going to have anything about foreign citizens of Kravania, as I'd like to attempt a 'culture shock' theme of RPs.
