New Christendom, Jagada
Monsters. Fanaticals. Genocidial Freaks. Heros. Defenders of Christinaity. Islamophobs. These and many more where names which the old order of the Crusader Knights were given. They were forged by the Kings of Europe, by the Vatican to forge forth a fighting force that would unite Europe against a common enemy. The Crusaders past wasn't something to be proud up. They marched into countless cities, committed acts of evil beyond imagination, and they did it in the name of the Almighty God. Since the end of the failed Crusades, this order of warrior has been quietly and shamefully disbanded by Europe. Later they became symbols of why Religion, Christianity in particular, should be banned. Them, along with the Inquisitors, have been demonized by most of the World. The Crusades were reformed when Lord Jagada brought back with him, from Europe, the Knights Templar. The Crusaders immiedately become the elite fighting force, being composed of former Knights Templar, of the Jagite State. They fought and pushed back the Imperials, they liberated Jagada, and they forcifully unified the tribes into a single effective government. For years the Crusaders maintained the Will of the People, not the Will of the State. They were the ones whom managed to pull victory from the jaws of defeat during the Divinity Wars. They suffered in the fronts lines in 1900 when the Fascists from unknown lands stormed the beaches of Jagada and burned and pillaged and conquored the tiny, almost insignifcant nation. They were also the ones whom led the Theological Revolution which liberated and freed Jagada. Though the Crusader's reputation of fighting for the people ended when the last Highest Minister of the Religious Commonwealth, Hunter Norris assumed power, he turned them into prehaps one of the most effective Secret Police slash State Army force the world may have ever known. No matter who you were, weather you be of great importance and prestige, or a begger on the streets. He knew what you did, when you did it. The Crusaders were turned on the People during the War Against Norris. The Crusaders, however, broke from Norris not long after the War began and sided with Remington Piere, a self styled decendant of Lord Jagada himself.
The history of the Crusaders from this point on was nothing to be proud of, as they marched victoriously into the cities of Jagada with people waiting to have democracy and republicanism reestablished--they where placed under the Crusader's jackboots. As Remington declared himself Emperor and Franco York, the future Dark Lord, imposed his will. For years it seemed the Crusaders were nothing more than Puppets of the State--following the Will of the Emperor, over the Will of the People. They would soon redeem themselves. After the defeat in the Colonial War to the Golden Throne, a secret project known as FANATICS became known to the public when a the 'participants' of this project, Super-Soldiers, revolted against the Emperor. Some accused the Macabees of what followed, other accuse Kraven, as their Agent claimed reponsibility for it. These Super-Soldiers began their own path of cleansing Jagada of all impurities, all non-religious peoples. Athiests, Christians, Moslems, and all types of people were cleansed for not being religious enough. Franco York, however, rose to the occassion again and gathered the nearly extinct remnants of the Crusaders and used them for the Will of the People. They launched a counter-offensive and with a militarily sound mind like York's leading them--they managed to, after suffering horrid losses, defeat the Fanatics and thus restore Jagada--if only partially due to nuclear weapons being used. Though the dark legacy of the Crusaders resumed as York turned them into his own private army, making them swear alliegance to him and the new Trinity Empire. They yet against began the puppets of a genocidial dictator as York cleansed Jagada of all other religions. They were placed under the jackboot of York's theory and philosphy of Armed Christianity. As York had the Crusaders continue to purge Jagada of 'infidels', their already dark reputation got a lot darker when York sacrificed Jagada's very soul to The Kraven Corporation. The Crusaders were no longer needed in York's eyes, and they were demoted to simply being the back-up units of the Capitol Police, they became the Kreigsmarines. As the last Crusader documents were destroyed, being replaced by the Kreigsmarine documents--the warrior legacy of the Crusaders seemed to die with it. Though one bright spot appeared in this dark legacy--when the Jagite rose up against Kraven during the War of Jagite Extermination. They fought back, but in the end they fell with those they south to protect--they died just like all other men. And their bodies troddled upon by the Capitol Police and the Kravenites. It seemed that they would forever be a memory in the minds of the old, the scholars, and the fools who though they were some secret society now. Such was the legacy of good gone bad.
The people had lined the streets--some weeping, some shouting in rage. Rumors has spread since the Congressional Elections. Those elections were rather trublent. Souzo, the co-chairmen of the Constitutional Party had an assassination attempt on his life. He survived only because an unknown begger happen to tackle him to the ground, taking the bullet for him. Somehow word leaked out that Ibiwado, the chairman of the Constitutional Party, has ordered the assassination of Souzo. This caused the voters to immiedately turn to the National Renewal Party for guidance. Pax Topazia did fall to the Constitutionals, and with it a good deal of the Nationalist Conservative powerbase, but at the same time it sent the Constitutional Party down the path of succession--it was close to fracturing into at least ten different parties as Ibiwado was hard pressed to restore faith in him. Ibiwado was not charged, however, due to a lack of evidence. Though since these elections, rumors spread about Riyabuo's secret dealings with Kraven, or alleged secret dealing with Kraven. People truly believed that Riyabuo had sold Jagada out--but no one acted, no coups, no succession, no riots. The people felt Kraven tyranny before and they knew it was easier to simply surrender peacefully than resist. As the sound of jackboots began to be heard, the people lowered their head, and the media braced the public watching telling them that the day of reckoning was upon them. Riyabuo stood on a stage at the end of Merciful Road, the main road of New Christendom, and she knew everyonec would be very disappointed...
As they came into view, the people looked on in shock. They marched with one mind, one accord, one purpose, one feeling--survival and the perservation of the Jagite People. They came with the Jagite Flag, not the Twin Hammers, waving the air. They came to the sound of the National Anthem 'Carry my Cross'. As their leather boots hit the ground, they collectively imposed a feeling of obiedance upon the population--a feeling that they were here to protect them, to save them. Suddenly, and collectively their blue eyes activated and they imposed a gentle feeling upon the population. They were the Crusaders...

They marched until they came to the stage where Riyabuo was standing, along with Imperial Fist, the 2nd-in-Command of the Military. She snapped to attention, the blue-eye soldiers did the same, allowing their rifles to lean against their shoulder but imposing a strict view of discipline. Suddenly they all snapped a salute and at the same time spoke.
"Cast in the Name of God! For the Will of the People! To Preseve a People!"
With that Riyabuo smiled at the foriegn press cameras that would be sure to be aiming at her. The Crusaders were back.
