Sitting silently outside the Waterhelper Cluster sat the I.S.S. Aquarius with three Octavian class ships for escort.

I.S.S. Aquarius - Main Bridge

"Sir, do you really think this is a wise course of action?"

"Captain, the Unified Sith offer is the best we have. While the G.F.F.A. may be at war with them and their allies, we as a nation are currently not. Thus, even if they are defeated by the Federation, the contract will still be binding."

"I see where your coming from, Lord Raiden, but their Sith..."

"Still doesn't mean they won't honor their end of the agreement, Captain."

"Very well. The Emperor authorized this mission, so I can't really validate backing out of this now."

"Quite true, Captain. In this matter, we can talk all we want, but the will of the SeaQuestian Emperor is final."

"Agreed, Lord."

Captain Lauren Caitlin Hornsby sighed and nodded.

"Comms," she ordered, "Send the transmission letting Unified Sith now we are waiting for them and where we are."

"Aye, ma'am."

OOC: Actually, this thread kinda already is subverting them.

SQ, you have no Quake moon anymore. Balrogga blowed it up and good luck trying to get anybody to recognize your godmod response. The moon is gone, and even if it weren't, its not yours anymore.

OOC: I have no plans to. The whole point of this is that the CP will be enforcing the agreement.

OOC: I guess you never heard about compromising.

OOC: There's nothing to compromise about. The moon is gone. Period.

The only thing I see here is you trying to avoid taking a loss that has already been incurred.

First off, its not yours either. You no longer have control there.

Secondly, yes, but it has no bearing on this situation as you're the one who's being forced to change.

OOC: Oh get over yourself, Godular. Just because you've been around longer doesn't give you the right to run MY nation.

The Imperial Star Destroyer Avenger plunged from Hyperspace, its pointed bow slicing through the darkness of space. On board was the first diplomatic mission the Empire had elected to undertake for a considerable time. For some reason states decided to declare war upon Coruscant rather than amicable converse. On board was the Ambassador destined to oversee the negotiations, his name only known as Ilvar...

"Contact plotted in grid five three eight section C. It's the Seaquestian envoy." Refusing to dignify the mere lieutenant Ilvar simply nodded, his hooded face intent upon the distant Seaquestian vessel.

"Relay a transmission to them, have their delegate board as soon as possible." Captain Yultha nodded, and quickly saw to the command pits compliance.

Imperial Communication:

"Seaquestion delegate. Proceed directly to the Imperial Star Destroyer Avenger; main hanger bay. You will be met by an Imperial envoy."

A short, brief, and to the point message was sent in response:

You can understand our position in not exactly wanting to send our representative into a possible trap once the current relations between the G.F.F.A. and the G.E. are taken into account.

Therefore, we propose a compromise.

There is a forested moon orbiting a Class K ice world in a near-by star system. We shall each send our representative there in a single shuttle. No fighter escort for either, the same number of guards for each, and no weapons at the site. Agreed?

"No we are not agreed. The Empire is in current need of this Star Destroyer to protect her borders, a small trip to that moon will only lengthen these already lengthy proceedings. Send your delegate aboard as soon as possible.

If we wanted to capture or imprison him, do you think you would be able to stop us at this moment in time? Are you capable of surviving an onslaught from an entire Imperial Star Destroyer? No, it would take at least ten times your current numbers. Cease this foolishness of distrust and come aboard the Avenger; the Emperor has graciously decided to offer you friendship and peace and you retort with mistrust?

You have five minutes to make your decision, if you refuse we will leave."

One Minute Later

Response Message:

Damn. Sure are impatient aren't you? Didn't you ever here that good things come to he who waits?

We will launch the shuttles. One will contain the representative and the rest will have guards. Enough guards that we'll fill comfortable landing aboard a ship of your size with a crew the size of which you have and have him remain safe.

When they land, the guards will remain aboard their shuttles unless they are required to act.

Two Minutes Later

"Are all the shuttles ready?"

"Yes, ma'am. The last one just had the hatch sealed."

"Good. Lets launch when ready."

"Aye, ma'am."

One Minute Later

Five Trident I class shuttles departed from the hanger of the Aquarius

I.S.S. Aquarius 8200 - Main Bridge

"Lord Raiden, I'm surprised you didn't go yourself."

"Was never planning to actually. To be honest, the Emperor ordered me specifically not to. Remember Captain, at the last upate to our knowledge, we are supposed to be at war with the nation that Star Destroyer represents."

"Ahh, so he didn't want them to have you if it came to a hostage situation."

"That's correct. Which is why he and I decided to send my student, Susan Lee. If they betray us, then the only knowledge they will gain is what Lee knows. As she is know astronomer, navigator, or any task that has to know the location of home, she was considered the lowest security risk. Best she could given them are her access codes."

"Which, if they capture her, could only be used on the computers on Belle Terre."

"Correct, but only if we loose the fight there."

"Quite true. Quite true."

"Now, lets see how things play out."

OOC: I never did say Lord Raiden was the one going to be the representative.
