By now, most of the divisions in the NorthEast were Infantry Divisions, a quarter of which were stalling the enemy. With some exceptions, the Mechanized-Infantry and Armored Divisions had already made it to the defence line where their depleted ranks were now being filled up with reservists. The name of the Infantry Divisions were decieving, they only advanced short distances on foot, most of the time they moved about in trucks and the few APCs/LBTs they had.

The missiles aimed at both the divisions still in the NorthEast and the new defensive line met plenty of resistance from the WHIRLWIND Emplacements(which had been purposefully left behind, with their deactivation programs replaced with C12 triggers so when the Coalition flipped the on/off switches they would recieve a hell of a surprise) and shoulder mounted MDM-2 Surface-Air Missiles. These worked to an extent... most of the infantry divisions closer to the front were trashed beyond any reasonable combat capability(even though their remaining soldiers would still fight), those farther away suffered less damage due to more missiles being intercepted by WHIRLWINDs.

Only a couple of those aimed at the central desert made it, however, their attempts to blend in to the ground clutter and stealth were useless in such proximity to the OTH RADAR, the few that made it through did trivial damage. All along the line, up to ONE HUNDRED-SIXTY divisions were amassed, about a quarter of which were either armored and/or mechanized, not to mention the assorted speacilised brigades and logistic units, with more being held in reserve and a couple either still under assembly or being repaired. Its worth noting, that of the divisions being held in reserve, four of them were 'Current Gaurd' Divisions. The 'Current Gaurd' was Red Tides elite shocktroopers and were one of the only two branches of the Red Tide Military entrusted with gaurding the Supreme Commander and his highest ranking ministers(the other being the Commandos).

Admiral Killian walked through the corridors of the ship towards the meeting room where she would be discussing strategy with the soon-to-arrive foreign commanders and the new supreme commander, General Schwartzman, who was still en route aboard one of the new Phantom class submarines. Crewmembers were preparing the room, polishing the large oak table and setting up the computer systems. Soon enough they would arrive aboard the battleship's flight deck and it would be nothing but politics.

General Schwartzman stood on the boat's sail section as it plowed through the water on the surface, he was standing with a young petty officer as they waited the arrival of a Navy SH-20B Seacat helicopter which would bring the general the remaining distance to the Aequatian fleet. The water that splashed up was cold, even more so that his quarters below, he chomped down on his stubby cigar as he spotted the light grey helicopter as it moved in low over the water towards the submarine. After twenty minutes, he was aboard the SH-20 as it sped off towards the Pendleton.

((OOC: Sorry if I'm taking too many liberties here R.T., I'm assuming that your army is retreating much in the same fashion as the Iraqi army in OP: Desert Sabre/Sword. If it's too much, just say so and I'll edit it.))

Phase Line Sierra 27, 150km inland of Red Beach

The advance had become a lot quicker now that the Red Tideans had completely focussed on their retreat. Lieutenant Kennedy's "company" which consisted of his tank platoon, an infantry platoon, a FIST vehicle plus an added air defence section stopped as they entered another hamlet. One of the crewmembers on a Viking armoured carrier had strung up an Aequatian Republic Marine Corps battle ensign after the 23mm autocannon had engaged and destroyed an enemy scout vehicle that was part of a rearguard unit that may have been left behind, he remembered the cheering over the company's CommLink channel when the rounds tore the vehicle apart. The survivors managed to claw their way out of the burning vehicle and attempted to fire at the Marine vehicle and its passengers, despite a few suffering from severe burns and ghastly injuries. Fanaticism is no match for unwavering firepower, however, as they were quickly cut down by the platoon's small arms in addition to the Viking's M101 autocannon. The buildings in the village seemed relatively untouched, although it was devoid of life as many had been broken into and the streets were littered with bodies of those who resisted, a few of the Marines were taking photographs with their cameras while one, Kennedy's platoon sergeant, was filming the unit's progress with a digital movie camera.

Down the line where the 1st MEB was advancing as support to the 2nd MEB elements, Colonel Hertz was sitting in the rear command module of his Centurion vehicle when the order came through for all coalition forces in the advance to halt at Phase Line Sierra 27 and allow for logistics to catch up and maintain the advance within a couple of hours. Above, he heard one of the lead MH-53J helicopters transporting the 6th MEB units as it came in low and landed on the ground, disembarking its load of Marines and equipment before lifting off once again with the aid of an officer on the ground and turning to head back out to Red Beach. The 6th MEB units would be used to reinforce the weakened 1st brigade which had taken the brunt of the fighting when the Marines first landed. Hertz had stepped out of his vehicle and watched as the 6th MEB troops moved into positions to help maintain the line with the 2nd and 4th brigades. The engineers were quick to start working as they used the dozerblades on their Stallion vehicles to create hulldown positions for the M1 tanks and trenches for the infantry and light vehicles, the lieutenant-colonel laughed to himself, "Drawing the line in the sand for an enemy that's running away," as he walked over to an M35 truck and exchanged a pair of cigarettes for one of the meal pouches, it read "Mac and Cheese" on it and he opened it with his knife before starting to eat with the fork mounted on the standard issue multitool. He walked back to his Centurion command vehicle, thinking of the conversations he had with the other brigade leaders, who were all full Colonels, about the weakened rearguard actions they were facing and the casualties occuring. Many of the Red Tidean forces would fire a single shot and make for a withdrawl, and although they were normally caught by the Aequatian firepower, they lost at least one or two vehicles each time a rearguard was run into. Losses were not high, but it was taking its toll on the Marines, who were motivated by revenge more than anything, but starting to show signs of battle fatigue.

Behind their position sat one of the most beautiful sights, a mobile twelve-cell launch unit for the MIM-154C Comet Surface-to-Air Missile, coupled with its ground LIDAR suite that helped to guide the missile after its target had been appointed by the Multistatic Radar Network that was maintained by the RQ-4 UAVs that circled the Aequatian positions, watching the sky and ground for enemy movement. If there were any Red Tidean aircraft foolish enough to move within 200km of the Aequatian lines, it would be detected and fired upon by the Comet batteries.

Lieutenant Patricks and his gunner examined their AH-16 helicopter having landed on their assault ship, the 30mm SmartFlaK round had completely taken the stubby wing off and finished the helicopters service in the theatre. It was taken below deck to the repair personnel to strip for spare parts while the Marine pilot and gunner were transfered to another helicopter that had been salvaged from the recovery units of the 3rd MEB ashore and carried back out to the ship with one of the MH-53J helicopters. It would be a few hours before they left the Bishop and moved to a forward airstrip inland to support the force's advance. Luckily though, the time period that remained before they were to leave allowed them a few hours to sleep in their bunks below deck.

Admiral Stockwell watched the flight deck as aircraft lifted off towards the shoreline in complete strike packages, "Finally, they're being used as they should be," He thought to himself. Of the total amount of aircraft remaining within the fleet's inventory, more than thirty strike packages were moving inland, armed with a myriad of weaponry.

In the air, Lieutenant-Commander Jack Fellows, sat in the cockpit of his F-1N Averna fighter as it flew in formation with three other Avernas, two F-2N Lucifers for air cover and four EF-1B Erebus "Wild Weasel" tactical fighters for jamming and air defence suppression. He looked over his aircraft's weapons loadout on his HUD, fourteen direct attack munitions in the form of GBU-32 450kg satellite-guided weapons, each meant for separate targets, and two AIM-132 ASRAAM missiles for self-defence, but they would not be required if the F-2N fighters performed in their role. He looked to port and noticed the weapons load on the EF-1B aircraft, along with six direct attack munitions with cluster submunitions, they carried a total ot four AGM-88 HARM missiles for engaging enemy radar sites and four AGM-158 Stand-Off Weapons fitted with tracking suites for LIDAR signals. The F-2N fighters themselves carried full compliments for air superiority combat with a total of four AIM-154 Comet BVRHSAAM weapons, eight AIM-120C AMRAAM weapons and two AIM-132 missiles.

Major Dixon strolled about the cabin of the MC-130 aircraft as it continued on its course, a few hours earlier they had refueled from the Navy tankers along with the escort fighters. Captain Vittore was with a group of the troop's weapon sergeants as they examined the unit's vehicles, the signature "Timberwolf" light vehicles that were heavily modified Wolf General-Purpose HMMWVs. Knowing it would be a short while before they were on the ground, Dixon sat back down on a seat and checked over his tactical maps once more.

Commander Hans was surprised at the actions of the Admiral, "Such recklessness," He thought as he followed her, witnessing the events unfolding in front of him. The call had been made to the Venture and the submarine surfaced, awaiting the arrival of the helicopter with its cargo. The commander and the intelligence officer stood on the hanger deck as the helicopter was preparing for lift-off, he looked at Lerner, "I don't believe we have anything else to discuss," He was almost happy to be leaving the ship, "I'm sure with all these vessels around, that finding the body you need won't be a problem, our job is to get this man back to the Republic so we may place him on trial." He shouted over the noise of the helicopter's rotors, "Not likely, most prisoners of war were just sent to the camps, without trial, but they'll never know," He thought as he boarded the aircraft with the lieutenant.

OOC: You pretty much got it right, all though the retreat is less of a rout and more of a organized, orderly thing.

IC: While the worlds attention was on the beachhead battles and Red Tides Military's retreat, there was a much more one-sided war being waged down in the Metropolis of Crig.

The sounds of gun and artillery fire could clearly be heard from outside the city, in it, the noise was deafening.

"FORWARD COMRADES!" An Ex-Tech-Com Mercernary battalion commander yelled, "FOR YOUR FAMILIES! FOR FREEDOM! FOR LIBERATION! FOR DEMOCRACY!"

A warcry went up as the hastily-thrown-together group of hunters, mafia thugs, deserted Tech-Com Mercernaries, and city police charged towards the Red Tide Military barricade. Seven burning Mafia T-90s lay infront of the barricade, cut down by the two military MBT-66s that made up the barricade and the numerous military squads manning said barricade.

Unfortunantly, the slap-dash group had very little in the sense of tactics, since most of them consisted of hunters with .22 rifles or stolen Red Tidean weapons. So they just charged them head on.

The civilians, 800 in all, charged the barricade in a assualt that they knew was suicidal, but they also knew that these men would kill their families without a second thought. And even if the civilians did not succeed, at least it would end their suffering. As they surged forward, artillery shells slammed into the ground around them and, in some cases, bursted overhead via proximity fuses. Men were thrown into the air, limbs were torn off, blood flew everywhere. The mounted 15.5mm machine guns on the big MBT-66s opened fire, chewing through the bodies like a hot knife through butter.

They didnt even get halfway through the designated killzone before some of the civilians decided they wanted to live and turned to flee, this turned into the entire remnants of the group running away in terror, allowing the soldiers to move forward, farther into the city.

The temporary defensive position was completed by the engineers as they took up their own place on the line. Hertz walked along the line of positions, the small entrenchments concealing the M1 tanks, his carbine was slung over his back as he continued to eat, he spotted the infantry in the trenches, they were either eating food themselves or keeping an eye on he horizon, should the Red Tideans choose to turn around and come back. A gun crew sat around their tripod-mounted M2C1 12.7mm heavy machinegun, its belt of ammunition feeding the monster that waited to spit death and dismemberment upon the enemy.

Staff Sergeant Gregor was with his platoon as they sat with the company from the 4th MEB they joined for the advance. The supply sergeant had stopped by earlier and scorned them for first battalion's abandoning of their heavier weapons. After a short arguement, he agreed to replace their SMAW launchers and heavier Javelin system.

Lieutenant Patricks boarded his replacement helicopter and lifted off the flight deck of the assault ship along with the other gunships aboard the others in the fleet. They formed up into flights of four aircraft each as they moved inland towards the forward positions of the Marine's advance. The MC-130 aircraft came in low over the coast as the parachutes deployed off the Timberwolf vehicles and pulled the small jeeps out of the cargo compartment and onto the ground below. Quickly afterwards, the soldiers followed after their own parachutes deployed and dragged them out. The other three squadrons of troops were deployed in the same manner and were quick to mount their vehicles. Major Dixon sat in the passenger seat of a Timberwolf and controlled a forward-firing MG76E1 machinegun, behind him was another trooper manning the mounted BGM-88 ATGM launcher, as soon as his troop was prepared, they started off towards the city of Crig to support the rebel uprising that was fighting against the Red Tidean forces.

[Phase Line Sierra 27, 150km inland of Skyian Beachhead 01]

Most of the temporary defensives, had been completed. Tanks in cocrete bunkers and MG nest watched over haistly strewn barbed wire that marked the front, helicopters prowled the front looking for Tidean forces that had a death wish, M89s and medium to long range SAMs stayed on the look out for any enemy aircraft or helos that had decided to push their luck.

First Lieutenant Urwin watched over the front from his TC camera ports, he was listening to his gunner and loader argue over which type of ammo they should have more of. His tank was positioned in a tank bunker made of quick drying concrete. Several other tanks of his platoon were positioned on the hill or the ridge line on the southern edge, intermixed were M89A1/A3s and infantry manned machine gun nest, their 15.5x125mm rounds ready to chew any Red Tidean infantry who decided to turn and attack.

Command had decided to stop them when it became clear that they weren't gonna catch the Tidean Troops and force them into a major battle. Also many of the troops and vehicles had run low on ammo and fuel. However, further down the frontline and closer to the enemy 1Lt. Urwin could hear artillery thumping away at the enemy troops. He then decided to turn on the radio. As he did he heard troops beginning to talk of arrival of the 3rd Theater Force, it was unlikely, but if the occupation of Vietnamexico went well and without incident then they might be deployed to the Tidean Theater, of course this was a short transmission on a encrypted channel, so it had almost no chance of interception.

[Just off the RNS Marcus Pendleton]

A single MV-87 'Coba' VTOL Light Transport carried Armada Admiral Michael Sutherland and General Baylor Johanson along with their four aides towards the Aequatian Command Ship. It was escorted by four SAH-27A "Peregrine" Attack Helicopters just in case.

The MV-87 came along side the ship, and the pilot opened an comm channel with the bridge of the ship, after receiveing permission the SAH-27As broke off and the MV-87 landed on the helipad (OOC: this was a time saving measure).

As the engines of the bird came to a stop the rear of it opened and out stepped Armada Admiral Sutherland, General Baylor Johanson, six guards and their four aides. Armada Admiral Jason Anderson and General Keving Miller had been unable to join because of operations that the 2nd Naval Armada and the 2nd Theater Force were about to undertake.

[75km East, Northeast of Crig]

The 2nd Naval Armada had moved southwards under total radio/radar silence, the only communication was through laser relay transmissions from submarines or low flying aircraft. However, it was time to breack the silence and announce their presence to the citizens of Crig. All at once every sensor went online in the fleet.

A huge salvo of every available weapon in the fleet opened up on the Red Tidean divisions in and around Crig. There large salvos were made, each consiting of 84 678mm shells, 320 610mm shells, 864 381mm shells, and 768 155mm shells were launched towards the enemy forces. The 678mm and 610mm shells were equipped with 1024 and 990 submunitions each, for a total of 393,216 submunitions, they were mainly targeted at enemy armor and artillery outside and just inside of the city. The other smaller shells were equipped with GPS guidance systems that were targeting points that satellites had marked thet were centers of Red Tidean attacks in the citys, the shells trajectories were made so that they were fall at an almost 90 degree angle, thus making the tall buildings of the city much less of an obstacle.

Also, the 'Endeavour'-Class Large Combat Transport Ship neared the shore and provided direct fire on enemy troops with 50km of the shore, three salvos of 2,400 155mm shells were fired along with 400 381mm shells. Indirect fire was provided by 280mm motars also carried by the ships, 400 of these shells fell in the city in much the same fashion as the shells launched earlier. As they came closer to shore frigates joined them and escorted them towards the shore as troops loaded into their LCACs and HLACs in preperation for landings in the harbor and shore. Airborne troops loaded in their helicopters as Hellcat Armored Gun Systems and M89A1/A3 APCs were attached to carrying cables for inseration into the city.

Crig would be liberated before the morrow. The citizens would never have to fear the oppressive Tidean Government again.

As the Red Tide forces were falling back into the nation interior, the EB-180 Stargazer was racing ahead towards it's target.

Although it was currently quiet at the moment, the pilot's heart was pounding like a jackhammer. He never felt more terrified, more alive than he was right there.

The pilot continued on into the country undeterred, however. He had a mission to accomplish and so, with the strategic command bunker on his mind, the pilot flew further into Red Tide.

IC: An interesting thing about Crig is the number of buildings over 25 stories, There were alot of them, these took most of the brunt of the submunitions, even with said munitions falling at almost a 90 degree angle they took the brunt. Not to say that the Submunitions didnt trash two Red Tidean Divisions and severely damaged several more. It did have the sideffect of lifting the hopes of the citizens of Crig. More vigorious counterattacks were launched against Red Tidean Barricrades, still to no avail as Red Tidean forces mowed down any moving thing that entered the killzone without a friendly ID. The docks were half in Red Tidean hands, but the Red Tideans were having trouble evicting the revolters out of the rest, mainly because the new leaders of the newly proclaimed 'Democratic-Republic of Red Tide' had the wisdom of stationing most of their Tech-Com Mercernary and Red Tide Mafia Personnel there.

As the Skyians approached, they saw, and began to take, huge amounts of 203mm, 105mm and 122mm artillery shells as 35+ Red Tidean Armored and Mechanized-Infantry Divisions with their attached brigades hammered the city. The Skyian fleet also began to take artillery fire from fifty-six 18 inch and 25 inch guns stationed inland. Not to mention the minor detail of the massive amount of twenty thousand CM-1 and LRASM-50 Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles screaming down on them. Once again, these missiles were somewhat spread out and completely time-on-targeted in order to increase both missile survivability and damage.
The Silver Sky

The enemy shells did damage, but that was about it. The disposition of the Skyian Naval had been 'armor over firepower' most of it's ships were armored to take shells at least 2-3 inches larger then it's own guns. Even the Transport ships had superior armor to some destroyers and cruisers of other fleets. The 105mm and 122mm shells did almost nothing besides make large dents in armor and knocking out some CIWS. Some of the shells were even destroyed by missile and CIWS fire along with LASER CIWS (LCIWS) aboard the ships.

The 203mm shells only accomplished the sinking of 2 frigates, 1 transport ship and 1 destroyer while damaging 3 firgates, 1 transport, and 2 destroyers. The cruisers were protected by their superior armor and most of the shells failed to penetrate even the decapping layer of the armor. Only four were sunk by lucky hits from the 18 inch batteries while at least 8 suffered damage. However, 2 of them were sunk by direct hits from the 25 inch shells, the 'Ravager'-Class Heavy Dreadnaughts and the 'Hyperion'-Class Assualt Dreadnaughts were only lightly damaged by enemy 25 and 18 inch fire.

Then came the missiles, the Skyian Vessels were able to put up a much more effective defense against them, thousands of SAMs streaked into the sky, they were equipped with Fuel Air Explosive warheads that were designed to take out the maximum number of missiles. Thousands of explosiosn were seen as over 2/3 of the enemy missiles were destroyed. Then every gun in the fleet targeted a group of missiles and fired off their Air-Bursting Rounds, nicked named 'Pop-Rocks', much like the AHEAD/Flak type rounds they were based off of they explode near the missiles and shredded them with tungsten slugs. The rest of the missiles were mopped up by CIWS and LCIWS. Only 8 frigates, 2 destoyers and a single cruiser were destroyed.

The purpose of the bombardment from the fleet had been accomplished, they had forced the Red Tidean Troops to unveil their SSM/Artillery batteries to Skyian Naval Counter-battery and missile fire, the enemy guns would be reduced to scrap metal. However, the transports were pulled back to safety at the rear of the fleet and their landing put off until later.

A huge five salvo bombardment was opened on the enemy positions, five salvos of 84 678mm shells, 320 610mm shells, 847 381mm shells, and 1294 155mm shells were launched towards the enemy forces, totaling 420 678mm shells, 1600 610mm shells, 4235 381mm shells, and 6470 155mm shells.

Each 678mm and 610mm shell was equipped with 1024 and 990 submunitions, the 381mm had 660 submunitions and the 155mm were outfitted 72 of them. A 1,016,700 submunitions were fired at the enemy in a single salvo, this was repeated five times for a total of 5,083,500 submunitions.

About 2/3 of them (3,355,110) were targeting the enemy artillery and SSM batteries along with their heavy 18 and 25 inch guns and their supply vehicles, they were also targted at SAM and SPAAGs, but the arty was the main target.

The other 1,728,390 submunitions were targeted at the enemy armor and vehicles assembled outside the city, especially those near the shoreline.

Also, the 172 frigates still left were assembled near the shore, out of range of the 122mm and 105mm guns but still within the range of their own 125mm shells, they fired off five slavos of 364 shells, for a total of 1820 shells fired directly at the enemy tanks and troops near the shoreline.

Then the missiles were given their chance. Every capable ship in the fleet fired off at least some missiles, a total of 34,432 missiles were fired off from very short range. They were targeted at enemy SSM/SAM batteries that had targeted the fleet.

Near the Eastern Rim of Crig, Red Tide

Major Dixon and his team of four vehicles came to a stop at an intersection that led towards the city, he looked at the signs on the side of the road before examining his map, "Must be a main causeway, just like home," He thought before directing his driver to make his way towards Crig. After about twenty minutes of driving, they stopped and disembarked from their jeeps, Dixon moved forward with Captain Vittore as he looked through his field glasses at a battery of Red Tidean artillery pieces, "What do you think, Carlos?"

The captain took the binoculars and inspected the enemy positions, "I don't know, two-oh-threes by the look of it, with some infantry," He replied handing back the binoculars, "We could probably use the eighty eight, knock out the vehicles, pick off a few officers with Hawkins' and his teammate's rifles and cover with the twenty-three mil."

Dixon nodded as they made their way back towards the jeeps, "Send a message to Brigadier Roy, have him coordinate the rest of the regiment, we're going to strike at the enemy artillery pieces around the city." He had finished speaking when they heard the rumble of gunfire in the distance as the Skyian forces began their bombardment of the city. They returned to the jeeps where Dixon's Air Liason Officer, Air Force Captian Oscar Dwight, was listening in on the secured satellite communication channels, the Major walked over and tapped him on the shoulder, "What is it, Dwight?"

The captian pulled the headphones down around his neck, "Sir, the Navy's got a few strike packages up for anyone to use, since the Marines have stopped for the night about 150 klicks inland. We could call them in to knock out the arty, it would save our ammo for anything else we'll run into."

"What is that?" asked the guerilla leader, pointing at the boxes in the midst of the gathered group. The Rosdivan agent who had brought them here smiled before responding.

"Those are some mortar shells for the 2.5" mortars we brought you earlier." Any nation with a large coastline was frightfully easy to sneak personnel and equipment into; the complete and utter destruction of Red Tidean coastal defenses simply removed many of the restrictions that slowed the flow of weapons into Red Tide.

"We've already got plenty of mortar shells, why do you want us to use these in particular?" snapped back the leader. And indeed, they did have plenty of mortar shells. Mortars were excellent weapons for the often urban combat that the guerillas, and Red Tide's army, found themselves fighting in.

"These are...special...shells. Our intelligence believes that the military is retreating down this route. We want to stop them from doing so, so that we can eliminate the army and set up a better government, one that doesn't simply pop off nuclear weapons at rioting cities. These shells will aid us greatly in that, provided you use them."

"Hah! You expect us to simply toss off these 'special' shells of yours without even knowing what they are? They'll probably kill us too, getting rid of two problems for you." With that, the guerilla leader pulled out a pistol and pointed it at the agent's head.

"If you are really all that interested, then fine. The shells contain a pulmonary form of a disease called Brucellosis, you may know it better as Malta fever. It's been treated to be highly resistant to standard antibiotics and there's no vaccine for it. When the shells explode, they'll spread the bacteria. As those infected cough or sneeze or even breathe, they'll spread the bacteria to others. It also happens to be relatively safe, very few people die of it. About a week after infection, you'll start developing severe flu-like symptoms, symptoms that no soldier will be able to fight in. Unfortunately, or fortunately, you're also contagious for that week of incubation, meaning that most of the Red Tide army will come down with it nearly at once."

Smirking, the guerilla leader put his pistol away. "Alright Mystery Man, you get to live another day."

"I thank you kindly" was the slightly mocking response, accompanied by a short bow, as the man walked away, the guerillas still unaware of whom he worked for. Sometimes he wondered himself.

IC: The Rosdivanian attack was horribly ineffective. All Red Tidean Soldiers wear gas masks whenever there is a chance they will go into battle, this includes strategic, large scale retreats. Therefore, the few attacks the rebels tried to get off were complete faliures.

Around Crig, the military formations that were streaming into the city were wrecked, although it would not matter as the military continued to poor divisions into the city.

In the Leadership Bunker, Kelter Seravistock continued to read the dismal reports coming out of the various battle zones. He was the Second-in-Command(known as SiC) of Red Tide, as SiC, he had taken over when Supreme Commander Gregori disappeared. He sighed and put his head down on the table, resting his eyes for mere seconds, but it made him want to rest them for much more then just ten seconds. He hadnt recieved sleep in the past several DAYS!

And then he sighed... wondering if what he was about to do would make the Intellegince-Consortium Agents kill him. And so he sent a message to the Coalition Forces.

Top Secret Message for Coalition Forces.
"This is SiC Kelter Sravistock, the Supreme Commander has disappeared, probably left us the rest of us to die somewhere outside of the country. We havent the slightest clue where. I am offering to completely and utterly surrender, I will even be allowed to have myself and any surviving ministers be out on trial for any type of crime, I just have a one condition:

Please do not harm mine or any other ministers families. They had no part in our activities and should not be forced to share our fate."
End Message

OOC: I am getting bored of this RP and just want to get it overwith, so I am deciding to surrender.

Red Tide may have surrendered, but the crew of the EB-180 Stargazer had no idea about it, as they had gone to radio silence prior to the start of their mission.

Traveling 175,000 feet at Mach 6, the bomber reached the Strategic Command Bunker. As it got within range of its target, the Stargazer dropped four Laser-Guided Bunker-Busting MOABs on the bunker.

The Strategic Command Bunker exploded in a tremendous ball of flame. In an instant, unspoken numbers of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons were destroyed. The destruction could be seen even from the Stargazer's height.

The pilot and the co-pilot slouched back in their seats in relief. Relief that they had done what had needed to be done. Their mission was finally over. Now it was time to return home.

As the EB-180 turned around and headed back towards Wilhelmsborough, the pilot broke radio silence to send a brief message to W.R.A.F. headquarters.

"Attention base. Mission was success. Ground target destroyed!"

-------------------

The 1st Carrier Group under the command of Admiral Howard Davis paused 40 km off the pacified shore of Red Tide. Unlike the the crew of the Stargazer, the ships had been paying close attention to the action between Red Tide and the coalition. And so, it was with great relief that Red Tide finally announced their surrender.

And now, thought Admiral Davis, it's time for everyone's hard work to be rewarded.

But first, the Carrier Group had to make its presence known to the coalition.

The Admiral took to the radio and switched to a general frequency.

"Attention coalition forces. This is Admiral Howard Davis of the Principality of Wilhelmsborough. Although you may not realize it, we too have assisted in the war effort against Red Tide. And now with their surrender, the Principality requests that it be given input into the terms of the eventual Peace Treaty. Having a say in this is a matter of great importance to our country."

The Admiral paused before continuing.

"What say you, coalition forces in the area?"

[ABOARD RNS MARCUS PENDLETON]

Captain Hawking landed on the deck of the Pendleton without incident. He took off the blasted flight helmet that he had to wear and replaced it in the hook inside the helicopter. A deck hand rushed up to the helicopter to refuel the craft and tie it down. "What's going on now?"

Another deck hand ran up to the captain, giving him a tablet computer. "Sir! The Red Tide forces have given up, and their command bunker just went up in a hell of a flame!"

Hawking read over the computer as he walked inside. "Thank you, good work. Where is the conference room? I believe I'm supposed to meet the forces leader." He took a cup of coffee from another deck hand. "Thank you." He took a sip from the cup. "Good stuff, this."

'Snip'

OOC:A: Congratulations, for stating my casualties you get IGNORED! You are no longer considered part of this RP.

B: Given your height, how is your LADAR working? Wouldnt it be suffering the same problems my LADAR on my missiles would have been having? It isnt really relevant now.

C: It is public knowledge that the Strategic Command Bunker DOES NOT HOLD ANY WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION! It merely commands them, it is also public knowledge that there are two module in the Strategic Command Bunker that, if destroyed, will launch the nations WMD arsenal at pre-selected targets, in other words, if you hadnt been ignored, you would have triggered off a nuclear strike.

IC: Red Tidean troops stopped retreating when the order came down the line. None were confused or puzzled, they all simply acted as what their stereotypical image was... that is they obeyed the order. Reargaurd units that would have been being pursued stopped shooting at coalition forces. The secondary lines construction was halted, everywhere. Red Tidean forces just stood.

In Crig, indeed, in all Red Tidean Major Cities, the revolters were surprised at the fact that Red Tidean troops stopped shooting them. When news of the Red Tidean surrender came, bells began to be rung and people danced in the streets.
