This is an open invitation to an invasion RP I would like to set up. The story is that following a narrow electoral defeat for the Ollish fascist party a few extremists are going to attempt a failed coup. I'm looking for some foreign nations to try and invade me in support of these rebels. Rules as follows

1 - No godmodding (of course)
2 - Strictly MT/PMT (nothing outlandish like gentically altered soldiers or laser weapons)
3 - No WMD unless previously agreed between participants.
4 - A limit of 5 participants. I don't like dogpiles and they just get messy.

I'm looking for opponents of a combined population of 4 - 6 billion (mine is 3 billion), whilst I will have one or two allies with very limited input. Please give me link to a factbook about your nation or give me a general outline. Will post an IC thread with opening story at about 1am gmt.

Are such things as Super Battleships (i.e. Doujin+ sized), UHBTs (ultra-heavy battle tanks, usually above 1000 tons), and land-based 650mm self-propelled artillery pieces within your definition of MT/PMT?

If so, I may support the rebels, then decide to turn on them later or install a puppet government that allows free use of your resources. 'Cause I'm evil like that. :p

I intend to use them as sensibly as possible (i.e. to blow up stuff). They can be destroyed; you just have to know how. (You should know my writing style; you participated in the Liberation thread after all where I posted with Czardas.)

Basic information:

Steel and Fire is a nation that thrives on war and always has. For countless ages its population had to fight for every inch of ground they stood on, finally securing a small strip of land along the coast that became one of the most heavily defended pieces of land in the world. Over time they expanded to conquer much of the surrounding territory.

However, despite this the population of Steelia continued to grow too large; the Steelians began to live underground, leaving the surface to be used for defensive facilities and manufacturing. Even the underground spaces are growing overcrowded now, however, and resources are scarce. The Steelian Military Command therefore has decided to expand Steelian territory, seizing any resources they can, especially land.

That's my general motivation.

Ok so we have Lame Bums and Steel and Fire as the opposition. Combined you are double my population, so I will be having some LIMITED help from Sarzonia and possibly other Woodstock Pact members (limited to no more than a SMALL fleet and possibly a few hundred special forces). I've just got in from work and its 1030pm here so I'll start the IC thread tommorrow and post a link to it here.

The Holy Empire of The Aeson is a very religious country, following the Aesonic Church (draws heavily from Norse mythology, but different in several ways). I sometimes get involved in something like this in an attempt to expand my influence.

I'd like to get involved, via a small elite paratrooper force. Training level a bit higher than the US Marines.
