Hey. I'm a new nation looking to make an entry into the FT world of Nationstates, but I can't find an appropriate thread. So here's the deal: I need at least one nation to have at least one ship flying around in space for whatever reason.

I'm a little occupied in another sand-box, as I like to call newbie RPs, but I'd be happy to send an Oolt'po'slena'ar, which is perfectly n character. But beware, I have am an all militar species (before you tear ut your hair, I rp with a tenth of my actual pop).

You need to make better RPs. But since you're a noob, I guess that's expected. Maybe they will let you on: "The Hunted." Ask. Meanwhile, if you want to start a "whatever" thread, try a cafe, or a castle, or something, but NOT a starship.

Some people might learn to be a little nicer to others after having been around for six hundred odd posts. Every one was new once, or don't you remember that Parkus Empire?

I'm kinda tied up with RP's at the moment, but might I suggest you take a look in both II and NS to look at the different kinds of RP's available. II seems to be mostly wars/ war gaming and NS is mostly character style RP. You really need to decide what suits your tastes, and playing style.

Starting off with some facts about your natiion, what sort of FT do you have, etc is also helpful - Do you want a war, or diplomatic ties, and other information is really necessary to get any sort of RP going.

And it might be easier to join an RP that some one else is running if you are very new to on line RPing.

I'm looking for intrigue and character interaction; Set'thiran assumes a variety of forms to fool other races; manipulating them. He only falls back on the raw crippling force of the Necron's when he has to act with decisive action.

That's what I'm looking for too. The Space Mormons are artificially-created life form. The original DNA strand was engineered by a megalomaniacal machine called Joseph Smithbot. They shift between two forms. In the one they use when meeting other people they resemble humans, but with vacant eyes and manic smiles permanently fixed to their faces. They appear to be wearing ties, but that's actually an extra limb. In their true form, which they only use when threatned, they are still roughly humanoid, but about 15 feet tall with long, spindly arms ending in scythe-like claws, short, stubby legs that are nonetheless capable of propelling them 30 feet in the air. They have long, cone-like heads and insecty mandibles. In this form, they have superhuman strength. In either form, they have no sexual organs, but reproduce by assimilation. They will come aboard other ships, hand out pamohlets, then bite you with their ties, injecting you with a toxin that makes you very suscepible to suggestion. Once you read the pamhplets and discover how wonderful Space Mormonism is, they'll take you back to the planet Yutah and baptize you in a mutatious fluid that turns you into one of them.

I'd offer since my schedule might be freed up soon, but Mekantans aren't nice.

They're also not susceptable to poisons, they're skilled psychokinetics, they're extremely xenophobic (not fear, hatred), and they've been known to glass worlds at the slightest provocation.

But if you'd like a strong protector and ally in the event you DON'T piss them off...

Damnit! AN entire Armada Group and Incursion of Thinking 5%...how'd you manage that? Stupid selective breeding...very well...We would be happy in improving your Herds through the time honored method of culling the weak and STUPID. But don't you think we should take out the Galactics instead of fighting against each other. Two Warrior Tribes astride the known worlds!

I might be interested. Either as Huntaer, or as my light side rebel faction (huntarian alliance). I have flag ships for both of them.

I wasn't talking about US HUMANs galactics I was talking about the ALIENS...damn ELVES...lawyers and con-men...Galactics...they screwed us over man! took most of our folks while we breed smarter Posleen! Besides...it was a devils bargain...the posleen like leading from the front...:rolleyes: it sorta leaves us in the dust if they chose to accept...better to shoot the bastards in the head. The bunny is on the tank. It's SheVa Gun Number Nine, Bun-Bun upgrades included. It's Mighty Number 9, "Bun-Bun the SheVa Gun".

EDIT: Bun-Bun is also visible in the fireball. If you track from the actual round being fired, to the right, you'll see a lighter circle in the dark patch. Slightly below and to the right is ANOTHER circle. Those are Bun-Buns eyes.
