Phoenix Armaments Becomes a Nation

The city of Pakrav, in southern Europe...

No one in Pakrav expected what happened. Phoenix Armaments was a huge corporation. It was multi-national.

One day, it changed. The CEO of Phoenix Armaments, Alexander Marcus, announced his intent to become a new nation. And his gambit was successful.

Urban guerilla fighters, armed with the latest Phoenix equipment, stormed the Capitol Building in Pakrav. Two thousand rebel fighters fought with such ferocity, many thought they actually believed in their cause. In truth, they were fighting for their jobs.

The army in Pakrav surrendered. How could they fight this? Phoenix tanks, assault vehicles, and airplanes destroyed any resistance.

Marcus marched up the steps of the Capitol Building. He marched right up to the Prime Minister of the nation and said quietly, "You're fired."

And thus, the Republic of Pakrav became the Incorporated States of Phoenix Armaments.

This is why we don't let Tejano corporations frolic and play without anybody watching.

This is the logical next level of capitalism and we congratulate Phoenix Armaments on their new found statehood. We wish the corporation every success in running their newly aquired country and hope they continue to prosper.

We take the same stance as Warring Minorities on this issue. Although a corporation of your size could have taken over peacefully, we congratulate you on your achievement.

I, Alexander Marcus, CEO of Phoenix Armaments, thank you for your support.

Those of you who condemm this takeover, may or may not be subject to Phoenix Armaments policies of not selling to hostile nations.

We do condemn your actions, as the thought of never being able to buy Phoenix products again is similar to the thought of being banned from prison. The next logical level of capitalism is hardly a gigantic corporation becoming a country - that is Capitalizt, if anything, and it hardly seems likely that capitalism is going to advance much further anyway.

OOC: I just wanted to point out that you did a typo in the name of your nation. That's some sort of a record, I'm sure! Congraz! :p
