This thread stems from the Wedding of Lehana and Atticus. During the wedding, a group of black ops known as The Black Jacks, infiltrated and attempted to kidnap Queen Lehana. They enlisted the help of an advisor to the queen named Saweta.The burden of guilt was too much for her and she betrayed them. A Kulikovian commando team captured the three Black Jacks and transported them to a secret military base. One was shot and the others were beaten. Finally, in exchange for their freedom they told who gave the orders. A man in the Canadstein War Department was this man and was killed. Now, the hunt begins for the rest of the Black Jacks...

Secret Military Base

Hylland left Chester to rest in the infirmary. He sipped his coffee as he walked down the hall. 'I can't believe they actually want to let him go' he thought. But, there was nothing he could do. Hylland went into his office and took a seat. A picture of his family rested on the desk. The phone rang
"Yes?" he asked.
"Master Lt. Hylland, report to my office" said Commander Deresk
"Yes sir!" Hylland responded and left.

Hylland entered his office and saluted "Sir, Master Lt. Hylland reporting, sir"
"At ease. Good work with those Black Jacks. I know it's tough for you to have to let them go, but this came from higher up."
"I understand sir"
"The higher ups want the rest of these Black Jacks. And those two will lead us to the rest. You're bing promoted to Captain."
"Thank you, sir"
"Captain Hylland. You are to head a special team to track down these Black Jacks and eliminate them all. We will be working close with the Tarayshian authorities in dealing with this group, do whatever is needed, do you understand?"
"Sir, yes sir" Hylland replied.
"You are dismissed, keep me in touch"
"Sir, yes, sir!" Hylland responded, saluted, and left.

Secert Black Jacks HQ

The base was deeply hidden in the Northern Forest of Canadstein. There was 48 stationed there right now, since Willy, Tom, Gordon, and Chester were gone. The man in charge, when Chester was gone, was Reginald Bartlett. Reginald sat at a desk and was reading some papers. He read the report that Tom had sent him. It stated the story that Willy, Gordon, and Chester had gone threw. Also that Willy was dead and Chester was most likely KIA. Getting up he went into the cafeteria and went up to the men. "I have sad news men. Willy is dead and Chester is presumed to be KIA. The mission was a failure. Chester and Gordon were held captured and pumped for information. Chester would give all the information if they let Gordon go. They agreed and that was the lastime Gordon saw Chester. Also Gordon is bein checked out in the capital of Canadstein for anything weird like a tracking device. He and Tom will be staying there for awhile. That means I'm the new Commanding Officer. You can go back to eating." So of the men were shocked and couldn't eat anymore. Other men started to cry.

Capital of Canadstein

Tom watched Gordon sleep. Gordon had been threw hell on his first mission. Being interrogated and seeing his best friend die. Tommorrow he was going to check Gordon for tracking devices. Getting up from a chair he went over and got some coffee.

Captain Hylland went about the day gathering people whom he felt were best qualified. He needed people to go undercover, gather intelligence, recon, sabotage, etc. he also enlisted the help of the SAO who were more than happy to help out. The captain entered the meeting room where those chosen gathered. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, you know why you're here and what's expected of you. Our mission is clear: Kill or capture every member of the mercenary group known as The Black Jacks. They're botched attempt to capture Queen Lehana is the only operation we know of theirs. Do not underestimate them, but show no mercy. We have been given authority to do whatever is needed to accomplish our mission. The mission will not end until all remaining 51 of them are killed or captured. Any questions?"
"Sir, when will we initiate the mission?" asked one of them.
"We already have. The FSB has been tracking down several leads and such."
"It looks like we're just a bunch of card sharks" one remarked and they all laughed.
"That's exactly what we are" Hylland replied with a grin. "We have the advantage here. I smell blood in the water, it's time to go hunting people" Hylland said and they all stood up and saluted.

Reginald knew that the Kuilkovo was going to be after them. So he ordered all men to stay in the confines of the base and surronding area. Two of men by the names of Irving Morrell and Roger Kimball were sitting around. Roger was the man in charge of the armoury and Irving all the vechiles. Roger had the only key to the armoury and Irving the only key to the hangar and garage. Irving and Roger got Reginalds permission to leave for acouple days to take two atvs and some supplies. Once on the atv Irving looked toward Roger. "You ready?"

"Hell yes."

Roger and Irving sped off into the forrest.

Hylland went down to the command room where there was a large screen and several other smaller ones. Rows of technicians sat in front of it. He looked at the satellite feed coming in. The tracking device in Gordon helped the satellite to pin point his location.
"Sir, we have a lock" said a technician. Hylland thought for a moment. All he had to do was give the order and the place would be destroyed by the two fighters still in holding pattern. Chester was still in captivity but his mission had alread begun "Recall the fighters, we can't have them blowing up buildings in the capital. Just keep an eye on the target with the satellite." he replied. It would cause an international incident to order the fighters in.

Tom woke up Gordon mid-afternoon. Tom was going to look for any tracking devices. Gordon laid down on a table. Tom came back with a device that would pick up the waves that a tracking device would come out. The device sweep over Gordon. It beeped meaning it had found a tracking device. A bead of sweat came down from Tom's forehead.

It was late in the evening when Hylland returned to Chester. He stopped just before returning to the infirmary. 'I don't want to let him go but I have my orders' he thought and then walked towards him and took a seat. "You're free to go. I will escort you to the helipad where a civilian helicopter will take you to where you want to go." he said.

'This is a mistake' he thought. But, maybe Chester will lead them to the others.

Kulikovian Embassy, Canadstein's Capital

Ambassador Tybalt's phone rang. he picked it up and then ahnged up. 'They're here' he thought. The ambassador walked down to the lobby where several men with bags were waiting. They were all tough looking guys.
"What can i do for you, gentlemen?"
"We need a vehicle" one said plainly.
"Yes, there's one out back, a guard can show you"

These men were members of the SAO. They were sent out not long after Gordon was released. They went out back to the motorpool and picked out a van and drove off. The van went down through the streets of the capital. Their mission was simple: eliminate. The readied their submachine guns as the van continued for a few miles. Finally, they reached their designated location. The van parked in an alley and the men got out...

"I'm not going anywhere. Also I'm not getting anywhere near the damn helicopter." Chester said as he stayed put and didn't get up. He looked at Hylland.

Tom heard the van. Why were people in a deserted part of the town? Gordon go up and Tom handed him a gun. Gordon looked at Tom and nodded. They were getting ready for these bastards. Tom looked out the window and saw the van. He aimmed then fire. Gordon ran for the the roof.

Hylland looked confused "Why don't you want to leave?" he asked.

Two of the men opened their bags. They were full of explosives and a detenator. They skirted alongside the building and placed the two bags against the wall. The other members took cover and waited, they were now in two groups. The two men who laid the explosives ran for cover. One took out a reciever and pressed the button. The bags exploded with a huge boom and fire. Debris and rubbled flew into the air. It shook the building to its' core. They were getting ready to go in after their targets...

OOC: Wait Tom was shooting at these men

Chester looked at Hylland. "I just don't want to. I don't want any of the Black Jacks to get heard. You will just track me back to their base and kill them all."

By the time the explosion happen Gordon was on the roof. The building still held, but barely. Tom was still shooting and killed one of the men. Gordon got near the ground and got to work. He loooked threw the scope and found the guy with the denator. He pulled the trigger. The man fell to the ground and created a red puddle. Gordon was going for his next target.

OCC: Then I guess the explosion happened at some other part of the building.

"Then I guess you'll be my guest for good. Makes my life easier, one less Black Jack to track down" Hylland said with a smile. It comforted him to know he didn't have to let another one of them go.


The SAO team returned fire at the suspect. Peppering the windows with automatic fire. They took careful aim and continued the barrage of lead. One team threw smoke grenades and the smoke billowed up, obscuring the suspects view. They rushed through it until they were out of his line-of-sight.

OCC: Since when did Gordon have a sniper rifle, you never clearified that part. Besides, the SAO aren''t a bunch of amateurs. I guess Gordon made a full recovery from getting his ass kicked as well.

OOC: Sorry about not saying that Gordon had a sniper rifle. Also the first kill was a surpise since they were no fully ready for that.

Tom ran to a new room and caught one of the men and fired. The men took some bullets and slumped to the ground. Gordon on the roof threw two grenades on top of the van. Then went back to this sniper rifle.

"I have two questions. Can you tell me where I'm located and can I have a pass to get outside of the pass? Of course the pass will have a time limit from 8 a.m to 10 p.m." Chester replied.

"I'm not going to tell you where you are and no, you can't have a pass" Hylland bluntly replied.

"Can't I just see the outside world? Someone can be with me at all times and also you can blindfold me on the way out of this base." Chester asked. He was sick of being held inside without seeing daylight.

"You can go into the excersie yard once a day" Hylland replied.

OOC: Aren't you going to reply what's happening in Canadstein?

Chester was starting to get mad. "Fine." Then Chester got up and looked out a window.

The SAO men entered the building, taking fire and returning it with great fury. A sniper with them was still behind and took aim at another man with a sniper gun, he pulled the trigger and it roared. The bullet passed through the mans' heart with great velocity. Inside, the SAO threw grenades upstairs, exploding and damaging much of the upstairs.

OCC: I won't say my one guy was killed by Gordon. Gordon is busted up and can't possibly still be a crack shot.

Gordon felt the pain. He was slowly dying. Tom ran to the roof and found Gordon. Tom grabbed acouple of grenades and pulled the pins and threw it toward the van bellow. He put Gordon over his shoulder and went down the fire escape. Running down the fire escape he escaped in the car he came in. Gordon was in the car and moaning. Tom hit the gas and sped over toward the hospital.

The sniper took careful aim and shot out one of the tires. The car rammed into the side of a building with an awesome crash. The SAO reformed and ran out onto the street. They began to fire at the damaged vehicle.

Hylland sighed "How about telling me where their main base is. Save us all some trouble and just tell me" he said.

The police heard the gunfire and were already on there way. They came to the scene. A police officer got out of the car. "This is the police we are telling you to stop." A helicopter had taken off and was going near the scene. Another four cop cars came. "Put your weapons down or you will be shot!!!" Tom threw out his gun. "I have a hurt person inside here."

Chester said nothing and went back to his bed.

The SAO team heard and saw the sirens. They quickly departed. The sniper was the last one to leave. He took careful aim and put a bullet into the head of the remaining man in the car. The police tried to follow but the sound of the snipers' gun forced them to take cover. A few of them returned fire into the darkness but hit nothing. They dropped their weapons and ran through the alleys.

"Do we have to go through with this again? Tell em where the base is and I promise that no harm will come to them. They will be imprisoned and not killed" Hylland said as he walked over to the bed.

Tom's head had a bullet in it. Gordon saw the horror in his face.Getting out of the car he told the police who he was. Gordon was taken away in a ambulance. Gordon was sent the hospital and was going to live, but barely. He was going to have a full protection from the police. Also the tracking device had been found and destoryed. Later that day Gordon died. Tommorrow Tom's body was going to be delievered and buried in the Black Jack's secert cementary.

Chester looked at Hylland and had no emotion. "Just get away. I will not let them be imprisoned." Then looked away toward the window.

OCC: I meant Tom had a bullet in his head, Gordon was shot in the chest, sorry if I didn't clearify that.

Hylland looked to the wall "So, you'd rather all your comrades be killed than imprisioned where you'd all be together?" He asked.

OOC: Well Gordon got a headshot so nuff said.

"Oh you are not going to find them. Also it's a bad idea to put about 50 trained military personnel into one prison. Now go away!!!!" Chester replied.

OCC: Tom's dead too.

Hylland walked up and pushed Chester's head against the wall "You don't tell me what to do. You should consider yourself lucky I don't jam the barrel of a gun down your throat!" he yelled.

OOC: That means Gordon lives and edit the post about Tom and Gordon.

Chester just looked at him and looked away. He stared up toward the sky and the clouds. This was something he was going to never tell. "Sorry abut that Hylland."

Reginald had heard the news and was getting the men ready for Tom, Willy, and Gordon to be buried. Also they found out that Gordon had a tracking device. That was destroyed. That was two memebers dead. Willy's body had also been found by a Special Ops team. Tom, Willy, and Gordon were both going to be buried on the same day. Reginald called back Irving and Roger.

OCC: No, they're both dead

(OOC: I'm going to be in this, however I'm working on a reply.)

OOC: Ok editted that mean three of your men die Kulikovo two of them die because the van exploded and kill them in a moment.

Hylland took put his hand down and said "Just watch your mouth" he then walked out, leaving Chester.

Hylland went to the command center for his team.
"Sir, the operation in the capital was a success. Both suspects are dead...but we lost one of ours" said one of them.
"A sad but acceptable loss" Hylland replied. "That's three dead one captured, not bad"

The SAO team made their way back to the embassy where they could not be touched.

Hylland reported back to his superiors who congratulated his team's efforts. It was going to be a long hunt for all of them.

OCC: How could two of them die if they were no where near the van? One of my guys are dead.

OOC: Two that's what I'm going to say because Tom killed two.

Chester would be quiet. He wasn't going to talk to Hylland again.

Reginald brought up the data he had gotten. This was the work of the SAO of Kulikovo. They would also just run back to their embassy. Well screw them this was total war. He still had 47 highly trained men left and these SAO agents had no idea where the base was.

Captain, I personally wish to thank you for your men and the services you are providing. Atticus and I are very greatful to you and your cause. I wish to help in any means that I am able to. Out of my defense budget, I am giving you $963,609,360 to do with what you may need. Man power in order to help your operations is still being worked out, however I will send you a letter with more details, plus the man power.

OCC: I'll let one dead pass by. You say what you want.

Hylland recieved the letter and smiled. The Tarayshians could be very helpful in his search for the others. It was a long day and he felt a burden about one of his men being killed. He was a former member of the SAO. 'These bastards are going to pay' he thought. Hylland wanted to tell Chester about the deaths of two of his friends, but he wanted to get more information from him.

Chester wasn't going to talk to anyone. He started to fall asleep. It was a desert and there creatures. Sweat started to roll down his face. The place was so hot and the sand never ended. The sun beat down on him like a furnance.

The next day Reginald got the bodies sent to a secert location by two of his men and then sent over to the cementary. All the remaining men wore military uniforms and their beret. In the middle of the beret was a patch bearing a black spade. It was the sign of the Black Jacks. Willy, Gordon, and Tom were added to the list of names of dead Black Jacks. Then they were buried. Most of the men were crying. A 21 gun salute was giving and the men went back to the HQ.

After he sat there for a few minutes he looked to his family photo and smiled. He went to the phone "Let the prisoner out into the exercise yard for a half hour" he said and put the phone down. Two guards came into the infirmary and escorted Chester out into the exercise yard.

Chester woke up and his bed was damp and covered in sweat. He was lead outside. The fresh air was so sweet. Also he was trying to get an idea where he was located. Going up to a guard he asked. "What country are we located in?"

The guard replied without looking at him "We're in OZ"

Chester looked around. The base seemed pretty empty to him. He could try to escape, but it would be unfamiliar territory. Chester decided to go back inside and get some more sleep.

Hylland got up from his desk and went to the infirmary. He thought for a long time and decided he'd do whatever it took to find the location of the base. He entered the room and went to Chester
"Chester, let's try this again. Where's the base?" he asked.

Chester looked away and refused to answer.

Hylland cleared his throat "Make it easy on yourself, spare yourself the pain" he said.

As he looked away Chester went back to sleep.

Hylland kicked his bunk "I mean the pain of knowing what will happen to Jessica" he said, in an adjitated voice.

Chester fell off the bed dazed and back up. He looked at Hylland then sat at his bed thinking.

He leaned in close "Oh yes...I'm willing to do it" he said in a low but serious voice.

Chester knew that would be just hurting there own country. He just sat in the same position thinking about life.

"She can disappear...There's a million stories we can use to explain what happened to her. We can say she was a traitor or something. She can be brought here, put in one of those rooms. I'll set you infront of a screen and you can watch...watch what we'll do to her" he said, his face only a few inches from Chester's ear.

Chester wanted to punch Hylland, but calmed down. He still said nothing.

"Nothing to say, eh?" Hylland asked "Then you won't mind if we bring her here. Her life is in your hands."

No response came Chester. You could hear a pin drop. He had no emotion not since being beaten. He had changed.

Hylland sighed "Then you leave me no choice" he responded and left the infirmary. It was frustrating, he hoped it wouldn't come to this, but it has. Hylland went to his office and ordered that Jessica be called upon. She would be escorted under the guise of being part of a survey.

A loud knock sounded upon the door to the office; on the other side stood 5 men from the heavely trained special forces of Tarayshia.

Chester knew that Hylland would have to live threw the pain of killing a innocent person. Then he heard the knock he turned toward the door.

Hylland was just about to give the order when he heard the knock on the door. He walked to the door and opened it, seeing the men "Come in, I've been waiting for you" he said as they entered the office.

"Good evening," the head of the special forces said, "We are assembled in to teams of 5, and we have 10 to 15 teams if needed. Our majesty was unable to get the letter to you about us coming and I am sorry for that. My name is Phillip and these 4 are Wane, John, Ted and Danny."

'It is nice to see you and have your assistance. I've been trying to break this guy for several days, but no luck. I'm resorting to desperate measures" Hylland replied as he shook their hands.

OCC: Canadstein, my guy's in his office, not still in the infirmary

Phill cleared his throat as the 5 of them sat down from the walk up to the offices.
"We parked our vehacles far away so no one would say or notice anything," the one named Dan said as John nodded.
"What are these drastic measures you're talking about?"
Wane asked Hylland;

"Chester has a woman he holds close to his heart. All I have to do is give the order and she'll be brought here. I'll have Chester watch on a screen as she suffers. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get what I want from him. I hoped it wouldn't come to this, but it has" Hylland responded.

John asked, "Do you have a name, picture and address? How will you go about finding this woman?"

'It's already taken care of. I have a team waiting to pick her up. I have a photo and file of her on my desk here" Hylland replied, holding up the folder.

Wane looked around, "That's good, I'm sure it's correct and you can have her here with in hours."
Phill got a look on his face, "Perhaps this innocent woman will not have to die, with your permission may I send one of my men in to the room to speak with Chester?"

"Have fun, he's not an easy nut to crack" Hylland replied.

The head of the 5 men nodded, "Alright, Ted you go in and try to comunicate with Chester."
"Yes sir," Ted said as he left the room. On his way to the room Ted picked up some coffee, chocolate and other food items before seeing Chester. Ted walked in to the room and saw the other man on his bed.
"How are you?"
Ted spoke as he sat down, holding his cup of coffee while the other items sat behind him on the ground.

(OOC: Bumping it, cause I have the power!)

Chester didn't even response to this new person. He just stared at the wall with a blank stare.

Ted sighed, "I know that they've treated you pretty bad."
Ted cleared his throat, "Do you want some coffee?"

OCC: Bump

"Yes I will have some coffee." Chester said slowly as he clearly his throat. Then he grabbed the coffee. He took a sip.

Hylland continued his work at the command center, he needed a break from dealing with Chester. Hopefully, it wouldn't come to killing innocent people. But he was willing to do wahtever's needed to find their base. The other team members were busy as well. It was a tough assignment.

"Yes I will have some coffee." Chester said slowly as he clearly his throat. Then he grabbed the coffee. He took a sip.

(OOC: You can't just grab a cup of hot coffee out of someone's hand..i'm going to fix that.)

Ted Nodded and reached behind him, bringing Chester the second full cup of coffee.
"So," Ted began, "Do you take anything with your coffee? Or, do you just like it black."

Chester took a sip then threw the cup at Ted.

(OOC: What the hell was that? I mean really..wtf? he just asked if he took anything in his coffee;i don't get it. I'm saying this OOC)

Ted slightly flinched in surprise as the coffee was thrown at him, however he stood up and looked Chester in the eyes.
"Look man," Ted began, "I'm trying to help you, alright? I'm trying to save some poor woman's life so she won't have the shit beat out of her and then her brains blown out. We're just talking; no reason for you to be like that. I'm trying to help you, and Jessica."

(OOC: Bump)

"No your not you bastard. If you trying to save her then you would tell Hylland not to hurt her." Chester replied as he stood up. "If she dies kid your going to have to leave threw the pain of seeing her dying face. I won't because I couldn't have stopped it."

OCC: Bump

Ted sighed, "It's not as easy as you make it look. Hylland won't listen to me, even if I did say something telling him not to hurt her; he won't listen to me. You can stop it if you just tell them where this base is, you can save the woman you love. I know you're pissed off at everyone right now, but seriously I'm trying to help."

"Did Hylland tell what he was going to do to my men. They were all going to die. The rest of the 51 one of us. So one person will die for the live of 51. It's better that way." Chester replied.

The phone at Hylland's desk rung in the command center. He put it on a secure line and answered. On the other end was the SAO team leader in the embassy.
"Sir, we can't get anywhere near the building they were in. The police are all over the place. We had to get out of there" the team leader said.
"I see...Well, the mission's not really a failure. You killed two Black Jacks. Are you able to leave the embassy?" Hylland asked.
"Negative, sir. It's too hot. They didn't see us but it's just best that we stay low for a bit"
"Alright, good work. Keep me posted"
"Will do, sir" the phone hung up and Hylland went back to work. It was frustrating to not have very many leads.

Ted nodded, "Alright, since you feel that way I guess Hylland will have no choice."
Ted turned and picked up the rest of his items and left Chester in the room with none of the items that Ted had come in with. He shut and locked the door before he went down to Hylland's office.
"Sir, I'm back," Ted said as he knocked upon the door.
"I'll get it for you sir," John said as he opened the door and surveyed Ted, "Come in, I'm asuming you failed judging by the coffee on you?"
In the room Dan smirked, "That sucks man, do you want to go change?"
"I will but first I want to tell you what he said. With all respect sir Hylland, I don't think killing Jessica will do anything to shake his resolve. He said that once you find the base that you'll kill all 51 men so he feels that losing 1 life supposed to losing 51 lives that 1 life is better than 51 lives lost."

Chester good that little bastard was gone. He went and got back onto his bed. Then he went back to staring at the wall.

Hylland looked up "I told him that if he told us where the base was then I'd spare Jessica and the other Black Jacks. They would all be sent to prisons instead of being killed" he responded.

Ted nodded, "I did not know that sir, what do you want us to do?"
"I can try to talk to him," Dan said, "Tell him what you said, up to you."

"Go ahead. If you fail then I'll go out there again, good luck" Hylland replied without even looking up. He had intelligence reports to review.

Dan nodded and left the room, taking nothing with him. He knocked upon the door and opened to see Chester on his bed.
"I have news for you Chester," Dan said after shutting the door and standing against it.

Standing up he when to the table and sat at one of the chairs. "What is?"

Dan cleared his throat, "They told me that they are not going to kill the rest of the black jacks, however they're going to place them in prisions. It seems if you let Jessica live, then no one will die. I'm just the mesenger."

Chester moved up and next to Dan. "Oh thats what they're telling you. They will be killed on sight. Even if they try to surrender they will be shot on sight." Chester then kicked Dan in the groin.

Dan gasped and gritted his teeth as he forcefully shoved Chester backwards, watching as the other man fell on the ground, "I don't believe you, you had your chance to save your men, and your quite lovely Jessica."
Dan turned and walked out of the room, shutting and locking the door before walking down the hall towards Hylland's office.
He knocked and after John let him in Dan said, "I'm sorry sir, talking to him isn't going to work. The mother fucker kicked me in the..."
"Figures," Ted said as he stood up, "I'm going to change."
"I shoved his ass back down," Dan stated as Ted smiled and left the room to go change.
"What now, Mr. Hylland?"
John inquired of the officer;

Chester got up and went back to the bed. Well that was doing absolute nothing. They were not getting the location of the base out of him.

Hylland looked up "It's my turn" he plainly said and stormed out the door. He walked into Chester's cell and confronted him. Hylland looked down to him. His muscular arms thrashed Chester from his bunk and up against the wall. He punched him viciously in the ribs and smacked him to the ground in a violent manner. "I'm sick of these games, Chester!" He shouted, his knuckles had blood on them. "You think I'll have to live with Jessica's death, but you will too! Your burdenr will be much heavier than mine's. because, you could've prevented her suffering! But I have no choice now!" he shouted and stormed out of the cell...

On the ground he started to throw up blood. Most people would think that Chester would start to whimper, but he didn't he started to laugh. The blood covered the floor and his face was covered with it.

Hylland returned to the office, he was breathing heavily and there were blood splatters on him. His knuckled throbbed in pain "I'm going to bring her here" he said to the Tarayshians.
