Minbari Space, Near Minbari Colony Planet
The Zukariaan Ralucatparc class Capital Ship warped in, behind it came a dozen Knuj class battlecruisers, two dozen Parc class cruisers, Onnud class carriers, and three dozen Kcussginhteseht-GMO gunships. Hundreds of Yttihs class fighters and Sihtkcuf class landing ships were packed into the ship hangars.

"Glass the planet. We will assimilate and replenish." Admiral Ecafkcuf's order came throughout the fleet.

Huge guns came online and fired on the planet. Without warning, the planet was being glassed. It was only a matter of time before Minbari ships came to stop them. If they did, they would be met with the amazingly brutal and powerful Norom footsoldiers.

The Valenn class heavy cruiser in orbit of the planet, affectionately called the "Ugly Flying Brick" by it's crewmembers, detected the Zukariaan fleet as they bore down on the Minbari planet. The ship, being a joint EA/Minbari effort, was dual captained by an Earth Alliance Captain and a Minbari Shai. The Shai, whos name was Rannoaan, shoved the Earth Alliance captain out of the figurative lead seat quickly and took over. The Valenn sent a distress call to Minbar, and charged into combat against the Zukariaans.

On the bridge of Valenn, Shai Rannoaan quickly fired off orders to his crew. "Get those blasted particle guns firing, rotate us around so we can use the main neutron guns, launch all Nials and Starfuries, raise our deflectors and get gunners on the point defense. Have the planet raise it's main deflector, it should last for a little while. Fire on the head ship on my command. Fire!"

The Valenn launched ten Nial class fighters and thirty-six Aurora Starfury class fighters, and they rushed ahead, the Nials ahead, firing their main armaments at the Zukariaan fighters. Reinforcements were coming within nine hours, and the Valenn had to hold off, outnumbered, outgunned, against an unknown species who had attacked the Minbari unprovoked.

This began the Second Minbari Crusade.

Dozens of Yttihs class fighters bagan to swarm and fire their guns on the enemy fighters. Dozens more flew in on the Brick-like vessel and began firing on it's mounted guns. The Yttihs fighters moved with ease and speed.

The bombardment continued, but it was doubled as the plantary sheilds came online. The huge six kilometer long Ralucatparc capital ships 10 main, gigantic guns firing simultaneously.

"Shai, main deflectors down to 65%. We're reporting damage on decks 12 and 14, and the hangars have been completely spaced, all crew members in the hangars are dead. The Zukariaans are increasing bombardment of the planet, and the deflectors will be failing soon."

"Keep up main gun fire, redirect all fighters on the ships bombarding the planet. Send more distress calls to Minbar, we need a rush on those damn reinforcements."

The Ugly Flying Brick, rather, the Valenn, already feeling the damage of battle, began pouring gravitic neutron cannon beams at the Zukariaan flagship, using point defense particle cannons and smaller electromagnetic neutron guns on the Zukariaan fighters. The Nial and Starfury class fighters dispatched their Zukariaan targets and moved in to harass the Zukariaan capital ships bombarding the planet, launching missiles and firing neutron and particle cannon shots at the Zukariaan capships.

Valenn began to move at full speed, charging at the centre of the Zukariaan formation, firing heavy guns in all directions. The main target, however, was the Ralucatparc flagship, the largest ship in their formation. Although it was many times larger than the Valenn class, it didn't appear to be nearly as well armed. A hellish barrage was unleashed at the Ralucatparc, enough firepower to destroy nearly any ship..

The Capital Ship took heavy damage to it's rear Entire compartments had to be sealed off. Two main guns were destroyed and many secondary guns.

60 Yttihs class fighters swarmed around the large brickish vessel, firing missiles and energy guns on it. Boarding parties were called off. Barrages of missiles flew into the ships guns and hull. Quickly after the barrage, the Yttihs's moved out. A Kcussginhteseht-GMO class gunship fired it's heavy energy gun onto the brick. It would do plenty of damage.

Valenn was getting knocked around like a rag doll by the Zukariaan fleet, but by doing so it had allowed the planet's deflectors to recharge to 90% capacity. Also, Starfury fighters had launched from the planet to reinforce the Minbari fighters and the Valenn. Valenn's shields were down to 15% and had completely failed in most places. Her eight metre reinforced hull was pockmarked, taking massive amounts of gun and missile fire, further destroying the once mighty ship. Her main guns fired with a vengeance, continuing to target the Zukariaan flagship, also sending some fire over to the gunship that breached her shields.

The fighters were being completely ignored by the Zukariaans, who preferred to focus on the Valenn. This was just fine with the fighter pilots, as they were free to do strafing runs on the smaller Zukariaan vessels..

The Capital Ship lost another main gun, but it continued it's bombardment. Gunships, cruisers, battlecruisers; they were all firing their main guns on the planet.

"Give word to Outpost 1337-A1SOS that the sheilds will be down soon enough. Have them send a refueling station. We also need a planetary replenisher. Have them do it, ASAP!" Admiral Ecafkcuf told his second in command, Leiutenant Elohtihs.

More and more Yttihs fighters were flying around, firing on enemy fighters. The Kcussginhteseht-GMO gunship fired on the brick again.
