The Return of Trigon

The Realm of Azarath

Raven sat in her meditation chamber, its magical field in place to block out all external influences.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos..." she chanted "Azarath Metrion Zinthos..."
Something flashed through her mind. A glimpse of something, going by too quickly for her to see it properly. She gasped slightly and opened her eyes. Regaining her composure, she returned to her meditation.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos..." It appeared again, slower this time. She still couldn't see what it was, but she could easily make out four red eyes. "Oh, no..." she whispered "He's gaining power again."

Deep within a dimension of solid darkness, an unspeakable power stirred. It was time for the second coming.

OOC: If you have a way to bring youreself in, then you are welcomed hertily.

IC: Arella sat patiently as she listened to her daughter's story. She knew this day would come. Raven had managed to defeat her demonic father once, back on earth, with the help of her friends. But that was long ago. Now, it would be up to the people of Azarath.
Jinx paced agitatedly behind Arella. She had never met Trigon personally, but she, along with everyone else, had been affected by his last attack upon the mortal realm. She remembered the lava erupting from the ground and the people around her turning to stone... she shivered.
"Raven," Arella said calmly "We have always known it was your destiny to be his portal. You delayed him last time, but you must understand that his eventual victory is inevitable."
"No!" shouted Jinx. She calmed herself after seeing the look in Arella's eyes. "I mean... you can't just say 'we lose. That's the end'. You stopepd him last time, you can do it again."
Raven remained silent, staring at the floor.
Arella placed a hand on Jinx's shoulder. "You are powerful in magic, my apprentice. But you still lack the understanding: destiny cannot be avoided. It is the driving force of the universe itself."
"Remember what you said about my destiny the first time we met?" Jinx countered.
"Yes..." Arella admitted "I was wrong on that occasion. I... mis-interpereted the visions."
"We must tell Azar," Raven said, speaking for the first time since telling her mother what she had seen. "He has to know."

OOC: And bump again... come on, there's gotta be some way for other nations to enter themselves into this... magic-users, people with ties to demonic stuff... people who accidentally slip into an alternate dimesnion... come on!

OOC: Perhaps I can join in? I am not a magic-based nation myself, but I intend to have a small, underground organisation within my government dedicated to this sort of stuff - kinda like an MIB-type agency except dealing with the Occult stuff everyone pretends doesn't exist.

OOC: Sure! Just make an introduction. Azarath is an alternate dimension for people devoted to a particular order of magic. Trigon is a big, creepy demon who once raped this chick caled Arella. Raven is their daughter.

Arella stood up adn opened the door, motioning to Raven to follow her. She looked to her mother, then to Jinx. "No," she said "I would prefer to stay here."
Arella nodded and left. Jinx raised her eyebrows. She had known Raven for many years, and although they had first met as enemies, they had grown to be close friends. Jinx knew that Raven was extremely introverted, and if she would prefer to talk to Jinx than warn the head of their orderr about such a great danger, she must be seriously troubled by something.
