Tiger Broadcasting based out of Feluca City has added a new theme to its timetables. Foreign correspondants will be sent with the approval of foreign governments to battlefields to document the war for international relay.

Various war-time photographers, videographers and reporters will be sent with government-permission to the front lines to observe and make unbiased reports of the situation. Afterall, war is major news.

OOC: Alright. Basicly, I'm going to be doing realistic news reports on various wars going on throughout the NS, MT setting. If you would like to have a Tiger News team observing your fighting (currently happening or soon-to-come), then please post appropriately in this thread or send me a telegram. >^.^< Should shine an interesting light on all of this fighting going on.

Declassified Footage

Location: Big Island
Unit: 9th Mechanized Infantry Division
Date: XX-XX-XXXX

<Bottom left of screen shows Zulu time and 'Lance Cpl Jons'>

::The footage opens up to show the view from inside a truck. An Armadillo, which is sort of a bigger, tougher version of the HMMWV. There are Felucan soldiers - all anthros - wearing the Felucan combat system armor, their faces not visable behind dark visors.

It's a helmet cam, obviously which turned as the soldier turned his head as well. Peering out the rear passenger window at rugged terrain outside, sparse evergreen trees and beyond.. mountains.

Smoke raises from hundreds of places on the mountain ahead, and the ground is blackened, several trees still standing, smoldering and charred.

Far up the side of the mountain, a group of infantry begin to fire down towards the Armadillo with small arms. The Armadillo suddenly sped up, driving the vehicle up the rocky path. The Armadillo's .50 caliber machinegunner standing in the hatch began to fire off long bursts from his weapon towards the infantry.

The front passenger was yelling, "Go go go!" which was barely heard over the engine and machine gun. The soldiers in the vehicle bounced around like dice in a cup as the Armadillo powered over fallen logs and debris.

After a moment, the vehicle stopped and the infantry climbed out. The helmet cam looked back, and there are two more Armadillos that were following the first, disembarking the rest of the squad.::

<The screen goes dark for a moment. When the picture resumes, according to the clock about 30 minutes have passed.>

::The scene seems to be further up the mountain now, and there's constant gunfire. There are hundreds of Felucans wearing the green forest BDU pattern on their equipment firing across a saddle pass at a mountain face about 900 meters away. There is constant gunfire now. Someone yells from down the line and a second later, an AH-1 Tiger comes sweeping in from the north. Its 30mm cannon sounded like a chainsaw as tracer rounds spewed downwards. Rocket pods mounted under the wing stubs flared, firing volleys down upon the enemy positions.

The Felucans cheered.

Another minute passed, then someone fired an AT-1 anti-tank weapon across, which exploded on the enemy mountainside with a puff of smoke and a suprisingly loud boom.

The soldier next to the camera wearer hooted, "Holy shit!" then laughed maniacly. Up and down the line, others cheered and chuckled as a handful of Rotten Bacon's infantry scurried out of the blast area, only to be cut down by gunfire.

The Felucans, all wearing MOPP equipment were crossing over. Up ahead, groups of soldiers were climbing to the enemy positions, taking them over with a mixture of hand grenades and rifle bullets.::

<The screen goes dark before the white lettering appears, "OPERATION: RIGHTEOUS HAMMER, VICTORY MOUNTAIN">
