In order to form an alliance inside the ASDU as the U.N. delegate of the region the SSUN President Andrew Volker organized a meeting between all ASDU nations. The Nations would hopfully be arriving that same day in the Delegate Capital on Sachenn Island. National leaders were erged to come themselfs instead of sending a delegate. President Volker had arrived amongst a crowd of cheering civilians and talkitive reporters. He was now sitting at a spot on the half circle table that had the Nerotikan flag sitting infront along with a pen and a headset for translation, if needed. Other spots had the same only with different flags, each was evenly spaced apart.
The conferance would be held in the Trunany political conferance hall which was placed on a tall cliff. The conferance room was a long rectangle room with a half circle table that faced a podium infront of a window that showed the Sachenn mountain range. The building sat basicly alone away from the Capital City but had one long road from the city to the building. Any national leader that would come would have to land at Upper Land Air Facility which was under control by the nerotikan military. The press was already gathering around the Facility but was held back by the military officers and a long metal wall. A red carpet led down to a long line of Military Humvee's which would guide all National leaders, who would ride in Limo's with their nation's flags on them, to the building.

WANRING: Short post. Horribly short, if only because I don't like big intros
Chief Governor Dunan Ruu arrived at the scene of the conference via air transport, exiting to go along with any travel already sorted out for him. He was in a festive mood, but diplomatic at the same time. Hopefully, these talks would be beneficial.

Breaking a long period of isolationism, Patriot Leader Vlad Kznijnskij, retired President and Ambassador at Large of the Sovereign People's Republic arrived at the Nerotikan conference in a creaky old cargo transport, painted with the flag of Vas Pokhoronim of twenty years ago, red and gold on black. Refusing as a matter of principle to ride in a limousine under any circumstances, the Leader attempted to hail a cab at the airport, only to told it was a military base and thus possessed no taxi service. After some confusion and consternation (including Kznijnskij's memorable denunciation of the Humvee as a "decadent bourgeois contraption designed for the sole purpose of the conspicuous consumption of the planet"), the Leader finally agreed to be brought to Trunany by armored personnel carrier . . .

OOC: Do you have a signup thread for this Union? If you do, do you accept new members? And, how do you regard Anarcho-syndicalist/-collectivist societies?

Andrew Volker stood from his seat and walked outside the room. He turned down the hallway and left the building standing outfront with his guard by his sides. He looked out and saw a few cars coming up toward the building. Andrew called out a few people to attend to the men and then stood awaitingly for the delegats and leaders to arrive, though the large APC behind the group looked a little weird among the beautifully designed limo's.
"A military man I suppose." Andrew said to himself once he was told the Vas Pokhoronim delegate refused to ride in a limo.
"I suppose a banner could lighten the mood, put one out." A soon as he said this a man came running out excitedly and with the help of others posted up a banner that said.'WELCOME COMRADS, TO THE SSUN.' referring to the arrival on Nerotikan union soil.

OOC: Sorry for the late post…Time to get this started again.
It had been a long while since the Aztec National League attended any diplomatic event. The giant state had been extremely quiet as of recent. The government had been on a sort of hiatus…not saying it collapsed, but the leaders of the nation in the Administrative and Legislative branches had taken a much needed vacation. The system had been working almost non-stop. A month long break wouldn’t hurt too much.
The Vice Premier of the Aztec National League, Coyotepec Xoxoctic stepped out of the grey and red AD-195 (just think an upgraded MD-195/Boeing 737.) The climate of Nerotika was comfortable, although very different than that of the ANL. It was the Vice Premier’s first time on a serious diplomatic mission for a year. The car accident that nearly killed him through head trauma and other injuries had kept him in and out of the hospital. But that was two years ago…and this was a new day.
The Vice Premier walked down to the tarmac, holding on to his gray hat, giving up on controlling his gray fedora being blown about from the wind and the force of the jet engines. He walked up to Andrew Volker and spoke in English. Despite a slight Spanish influenced Nahuatl accent, the Vice Premier said,
“Greetings, I’m Vice Premier Coyotepec Xoxoctic…Considering the difficulty of pronouncing the native words and names in our language, you can just call me Harry.”

OOC: Then lets begin...if anyone else comes in then they can just walk in or somthing.
"WELCOME...Welcome everyone, glad to see you all here in person rather than in telegram messages and such."
Andrew began leading everyone down the hallway toward the conferance room.
"Please have a seat, if you wish. We have set up ceratin places for each of you, though it seems most of the members are not here."

Chief Governor Dunan Ruu followed suit and sat at the conferance table with little protest to the surroundings and accomadations. He smiled and bowed his head in respects as he gathered his little folder and plans for anything that should come up. Shifiting through a few pages, he found something to drag out here and there, but otherwise most of what was in the folder was left in it.
Nodding, he spoke finally.
"I am ready when anyone else is."

Vice Premier Xoxoctic sat down at his chair, laying down his old brief case on the table. He arranged folders of various colors in front of him – economic reports, government affairs reports, whatever may have been needed for this meeting. However, he knew that most of the stuff that he brought with him wasn’t going to make a lick of difference. After all, who paid much attention to economics after all?
The Vice Premier started off and said, “Well, first, before we start, I want to congratulate the ASDU’s new leaders in Nerotika. Although it was nice being the representative of the ASDU, the government of the ANL looks forward to this change and hopefully, your tenure will bring more to the region than we did.”
The truth is that the government had mixed feelings about it. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs and War were probably the most upset about it. In the ANL Legislature, the Tlatocayotl Tlactli – the High Soviet Senate, was a little surprised by the issue, and a few of the more reactionary Senators from the dominant Socialist Labor Party and the minority Soviet Republican Party were publicly upset. However, the Premier, Vice Premier and most of the government were supportive of the change. The people of the nation, unfortunately growing somewhat apathetic about politics in the ANL, largely gave opinions ranging from “I don’t know” to “Oh well” – the downside of prosperity.
The Vice Premier finished by saying, "So, we are interested in what types of changes that is going to be brought to the ASDU."

"We would be lucky if we brought as much as you did to the ASDU, but ono he matters at hand."
Andrew pulled out a rather large stake of papers all stapled together into a book. He sat it onto his table and began to talk.
"Alright, economic reports. The region is in a great state...best i've seen in most of the regions I checked through. But there are a few straglers some nations that are a bit weaker than us...any thoughts?"

Kznijnskij - the silver-haired bespectacled old man in the black frock coat who had so ostentatiously ridden in the APC - coughed softly.
"Am I to understand, Comrade Volker, that you believe there to be . . . problems . . . with the economic priorities of . . . certain . . . countries within the Union?" he asked, speaking in a grandfatherly baritone with a melodious Slavic accent. "I have heard of no shortages, no bread lines, no crises of healthcare or plummeting standards of living." He leaned back in his seat and removed his steel-rimmed glasses for a moment to massage the bridge of his nose. "Should we not leave competitiveness to the capitalists, who so excel at it? Should we not content ourselves with sufficiency, so that when the day inevitably comes that man's greed and ambition have cleansed themselves from the species due to their unrestrained exercise, we socialists will be seen to have outlasted the enemy?" He replaces his glasses and fixes Volker with a clear blue eye. "I only ask, of course, because I cannot but imagine the Sovereign People's Republic to be one of the 'stragglers' to which you refer. We are satisfied enough with our own arrangements, of course, but we shouldn't to be some kind of . . . embarassment to the Union."

"No...no problems. I was refering only to the importance it is that we keep and maintail our economic standing. It seems now-a-day's the only way to gain attention and respect in the internation community is to be able to suppost yourself. As I have seen though some nations in the ASDU do not keep up their economies and focus soully on their leadership powers. I do not want to accuse anyone of anything as I see the ASDU has made acceptions for capitalist such as pyschotika, and I see they did not attend. The Union should not be embarassed by any nation, and we are not, but when you run down the list of high economic profile nations and find say only three fourths of our Unions nations in it you tend to wonder why nothing has been said."
Andrew began to write a quick note inside a small notepad that he pulled from inside his coat. He looked up and around the room for responces though he knew what he had said tended to not be as thought out as it could have been.
"Its all a matter of pride. The Union can pride itself of being so economicly stronge, when we have 'stragglers' I just want to see them succed instead of continue downwards."
