For months upon months the Eurasian General Staff was planning for the grand war against The Lightning Star, when that hour finally came…the General Staff give the green light for the war to began.

In Indian Ocean

20 Shark SSBN and 30 Virginia-class SSN, who were deploy from their Persian Gulf bases one month earlier. These subs will make the opening move in the war against The Lightning Star. When the order came to began the war, all 20 Shark SSBNs surfaced and fired 20 Tomahawk Cruises Missiles each, so accumulation 500 Tomahawk Cruises Missiles were fired, their targets were major arm forces bases within TLS Pakistan and Northern India. After firing the missiles, the Subs all drive into the sea and carry out their next part of their mission, which was to rage total war against all TLS shipping in and around TLS India.

In Eurasian Iran, Turkey, Syria and Iraq

A number of silos began to open up for first time in their service life. Then nearly 800 Non Nuclear ICBMs fired, their targets all the main TLS arm forces bases in TLS Arabia and Pakistan (So 50 percent went to Arabia and 50 percent to Pakistan). All the warheads were loaded with thermite to insure they will burn their targets to nothing..


As the Missiles flew in the air, the bomber wings were sent off to begin their bombing raids on TLS cities and major defenses. 200 B-1B Lancers, 200 B-2s, and, 100 B-9A Sphinx with 400 F-16 escorts began the first major bombing raid of the war. Their target was Karachi. Their orders were to fire bomb city to nothing, they began dropping their payloads of thermite on the city.

Another Air Group was sent off for another major mission, it was compose of 600 Typhoon EF-2000 Eurofighter with 200-F-15 Eagles, they were assign to win control of the skies of TLS Arabia, plus 400 B-52 bombers were assign to fire bomb Riyadh, which was a major city in TLS Arabia, they drop their payloads of fuel air bombs and thermite on city of Riyadh.

In more fighters were send out to win control of the skies of TLS India which was a key objective of the Eurasian, nearly all 400 F/A-22A Raptor were assign to the missions of taking out most of the TLS air force before, they could mount a strong defense.

Nearly 40 E-3C Sentry were deploy all over the skies of Eurasia to keep on a look out for any TLS fighters that may try to attack, the home land. This was the first line of defense for Eurasia.

As the air war began, the ground forces were put on stand by, in till the General Staff give them the go ahead, which was going to happen after the air war was done and over with.

Mediterranian Sea

As the Empire's first war along side the Ottoman's in the Old World, as it was called back home, this conflict with the Carthaginians was going to arguably be the most important in this theatre for a very long time. As a result, the opening attack would be one of the most vicious and effecient ever launched.

The Empire's main goal for the African Theatre in the opening hours of the war would be none other than total domination of the skies. This would be achieved through a simple yet clever strategy of totally decimating the enemy's RADAR in order to completely blind them of their impending doom.

Submerged only one hundred miles off of the coast of Tunisia, each one twenty-five miles apart from the next, six Perditor-class arsenal ships lurked, awaiting the impending order to strike. Their small air wings had been launched a mere ten minutes prior, as schedualed, and the fleet was already in position (one hundred miles behind the submarines) with the bomber formation loitering above, taking on fuel from friendly aircraft as nessessary.

Then the order finally beamed down from a friendly satelite:

That was all that was needed to begin a conflict that would undoubtedly kill millions of people.

With that order recieved, the already airborne wings of the submerged arsenal ships departed their loiter points and made a sea-level subsonic dash towards the Tunisian coastline. These were ACI-73F Aquila VTOL/STOVL fighters, packed with eletronic surveilance equipment specifically for this mission, carrying only a tolken self-defense armament.

These aircraft were among the stealthiest in the world, easily exceeding the F-22A and F-35 in terms of small RADAR cross sections. The Carthaginian RADAR would most likely be incapable of picking them up, especialy since even the Doomingslandian RADARs couldn't pick them up until they were dangerously close...

Upon reaching the edge of enemy airspace they would climb, just managing not to stray within hostile territory. From there their passive RADAR detection systems would pick up on the radio waves from enemy RADAR stations and beam their locations back towards a waiting formation of twenty ACI-9D Romulus strategic bombers.

With the location of enemy RADAR discovered, the stealthy bombers would open their weapons bay doors, lowering a rotary launch system, each containing twenty-four AC-280 anti-radiation missiles. With target coordinates inputted, the bombers began to fire off their ordnance, well over two-hundred and fifty miles away from the coastline.

The missiles would drop towards the sea as their gel-fuel rocket engines ignited, pushing them to a velocity of mach 1.5 at sea level, where they would remain. The missiles would cruise to this velocity, staying below enemy RADAR coverage as they did so, making extremely difficult to engage targets. Upon reaching their targets, they would engage in a pop-up maneuver and open up their warheads, showering the RADAR site with hundreds upon hundreds of baseball-sized bomblets. For every enemy RADAR site detected, four missiles would be launched, even more for better defended sites.

As the missiles impacted, the vertical launch systems of the Perditors would open, jettisoning their deadly cargo. Each arsenal ship had on board a payload of no less than 1,200 ATL-75A cruise missiles, making for a grand total of 6,200 missiles. All were targetted for the enemy capital.

These missiles had a variety of targets and a variety of warheads, ranging from high explosives, cluster munitions, and thermobaric. These types of warheads were targetted at government and military complexes within the city, as well as subway systems and airraid shelters. However, the vast majority of the missiles contained aerosol dispensors. These deadly missiles contained the Nemisis gas.

Nemisis was designated as a 'Narco Weapon' by the High Command, meaning it was actualy narcotic based. This gas (entering through both the skin and lungs), rather than killing you, caused severe hilusinations and sparked violent and erratic behavior. In otherwords, upon being infected, one would begin to see things that weren't there and go into an absolute rage, attacking close friends and neighbors and simply wreaking absolute havoc. This would undoubtedly lead to massive riots within the city. Of course, that wasn't the worst part. When the initial effects of the gas wore off, the infected would be left with severe withdrawal symptoms, causing further violent behavior and severe illness, effectively turning the infected into a violent zombie of sorts, bent on causing harm to themselves, resulting in mass suicide of the infected population.

No expense was spared in distribution of the gas, and enough was dispensed to cover the city in it several times over. Dispensed with this were canisters of gasseous, aerosolized hydrofloric acid, capable of burning right through the filters of gas masks, or even the filters of airraid shelters.

As the attack on the capital occured, one thousand carrier based ACI-73E air superiority fighters supported by sixteen ACI-148A AWACS aircraft began to deal with the elements Carthaginian Airforce that were already airborne. The AWACS aircraft would pinpoint the locations of enemy fighters, transmitting the data to the fighters, which would in turn move to engage, releasing their AC-220 medium range missiles from a range of one hundred-twenty naughtical miles, making use of a wide array of tracking systems including AWACS RADAR, internal electro-optical, infrared, and LIDAR, as well as terminal RADAR when they reached that stage of engagement. The missiles would be incredibly difficult to shake due to their high degree of maneuverability thanks to 3D thrust vectoring, and counter measures would be of little use with the wide array of tracking systems at work, including a home-on-jam provision. The fighters would then break formation and head home.

The enemy would have a tough time shooting back at the stealthy fighters. The AWACS aircraft also targetted hostile airborne RADARs with their own weapons, AC-157 long range missiles, designed specifically to destroy AWACS aircraft. These would home in on the enemy's RADAR emmisions, closing at a velocity of mach six, giving the enemy aircraft very little time to take evasive action.

Not only was the enemy airforce engaged in the air, however. The Imperial Fleet itself launched 3,000 ATL-75 cruise missiles, targetting enemy airfields. These missiles would be armed with penetrating munitions to target enemy hangers and buildings as well as cluster munitions to destroy runways.

In addition to these provisions, a similar attack on enemy RADARs, aircraft, and airfields was carried out in Algeria and Morrocco by land based fighters and bombers flying out of bases in Spain, supported by allied German units, as well. Four hundred ACI-73Ds, four ACI-148s, and forty ACI-9Ds (cruise missiles were launched from land-based installations in Spain).

Finally, the enemy's satelite network was also targetted. Imperial anti-satelite weapons, based on the old American Brilliant Pebbles concept, were utilized in great numbers, firing hundreds of watermelon-sized satelite-based KE projectiles at communications, GPS, weapons, and spy satelites. Several weapons were fired at each satelite at high velocity, almost ensuring a kill due to the sheer difficulty of intercepting even one of the projectiles.

The High Command for the PLA was full of commotion as reports of attacks came streaming in. After the attack on Neo-Babylon (formerly known as Neo-Carthage), the city was in chaos. It was estimated that over a million were dead, due to the fact that the gas released by Doomingsland soldiers on the city caused quite alot of accidents, and even though it wasn't fatal, releasing such a gas in a dense city with a population of 74 million was bound to cause many, many deaths.

The attacks on military installations had caused the following damages:

The attacks had severly shocked Carthage. Carthaginians, used to peace and prosperity, were now under attack for no apparent reason. Carthage had just begun a series of economic reforms that had greatly improved the quality of life in Carthage, and trade was beginning to pick up again. Now, Carthage was being obliterated.

Premier Jigme Singye Wangchuck stared at the incoming information. It seems our previous governments attempts to satisfy the Eurasians through giving them Syria was not enough, he thought. No matter, we will defeat them all the same. When he had finished surveying the damages, he ordered his generals to begin the defence in earnest. He then walked into the Commands press room, which had been prepared for a statement to the world. He saw that it was ready, so he decided to sit in front of the camera. He saw the light turn green, and began to speak.

"Peoples of the world, I speak to you not as Premier of Carthage, or even as a head of state, but as a human being. My nation, Carthage, has been brutally attacked, for no apparent reason. When has Carthage harmed Eurasia? Never. Have we ever shown any intent to harm Eurasia? Never. Have we ever shown an intent to harm Doomingsland? Never. Yet these very nations have now caused many hundreds of thousands of deaths in my nation, using tactics that are despised by all.

Therefore, I stand here before the world, to urge the international community to retaliate. Carthage has always been a good member of the international community. We have been content to sit here and trade with the world, helping all of our economies. Now, we have been violated, and we shall respond with force. The people of Carthage are strong and mighty, and we shall fight back with all our strength. All we can ask of the international community is that you support us in our just cause against this inexplicable invasion. If you do not wish to support us directly, at least do not ally with our enemies. However, to all of our enemies, present and future, I have one thing to say: We shall bury you."

With that, the speech ended, and the Premier went back to planning the defence.

"The Commonwealth hereby wishes to congratulate the Eurasian and Doomingsland Government's and People for their stout action in the face of oppression.

For too long Carthage has been a hindrance to trading routes in the Meditteranean and has impeded mass oil exploration, pushing its area of Africa further into the dark ages. Africa, in the south, is the Golden Continent, the richest area in the world to date, and getting richer by the day. Whereas in the North the people cry out for better governance and a better chance at life through prosperity. We salute the forces of Eurasia and Doomingsland for striking this blow for world prosperity.

The Government of the Commonwealth would like to pledge $0.5 Trillion each to Doomingsland and Eurasia for their war effort. As well as this we will also work to ensure that both Government's receive favourable trading terms during their continued effort. We wish both Nations luck in their worthy mission."

"Stout action in the face of oppression"? When have we oppressed anyone! We hindered no trading routes, prevented no oil expeditions, and Carthaginian Citizens live a life that is far higher than any other nation. While the rest of the world has been war-mongering, we have equally distributed our funds amongst the people, and now everyone can enjoy and incredibly high quality of life. The only ones who seem to be "suffering" are you, who want to take land that is rightfully ours.

As of this moment, diplomatic relations between Carthage and Hirgizstan have been severed, and a trade-embargo has been placed on said nation. However, no military action shall be taken against them unless they do the same."

"The Realm of Cotland has detected the massive assault against Carthage, and declares its neutrality in this conflict. We have important territorial holdings neighbouring Carthage, and will place the elements we have of the Royal Cottish Armed Forces in that area on the highest alert. We are also mobilizing our reserves in the area, and will defend our neutrality with all due vigilance. Should any foreign vessel, aircraft, ground unit or piece of munition, it be in the form of a bullet, a missile, gas or torpedo, we will consider it an act of war against the Realm and take defensive measures to ensure that no such action is taken again against the Realm.

"Furthermore, we are stopping all civilian and military passage through the Suez Canal, regardless of nationality, effective immediately. Exceptions may be made for close allies of the Realm. The Suez will be under lockdown until this conflict has been resolved. We urge all nations involved to settle their disputes as soon as possible."

In military bases throughout Sinai, Israel and Cyprus, soldiers were reporting back for duty after their leaves had been cancelled. Newly delivered F-16G Super Falcons and highly secret F-41B Defender stealthy home defense fighters were scrambled and placed on BARCAP throughout the airspace of the Realm. Members of the Territorial Army reported for duty to complement the forces of the Regular Army, while the Coast Guard started defensive patrols near the coast. The Navy dealt with coastal defense further out to sea.

A Murmansk class nuclear-powered submarine had been dispatched to investigate the actions near the city formerly known as Neo-Carthage. This aging submarine class was still a competitive fighter in the world, being as good as undetectable on SONAR thanks to among others the very silent pebblebed nuclear reactor, the relatively thick sound-absorbing tiles on the outer hull, the freon-based cooling system for the reactor and the sound-absorbing foam-like substance between the inner and outer hull, which completely absorbed any sound the crew and equipment inside might make. It also helped stop SONAR-waves from reflecting the sound of the submarine, being completely undetectable on passive SONAR and difficult to detect on active SONAR.

The weapons complement of the sub included thirty-two Mk.68 Mod 1 Sjøorm heavyweight torpedoes, six Mk.50 Mod 2 Barracuda lightweight torpedoes, twelve UGM-205A AMESM anti-shipping missiles, two Mk.68 Mod 3 mobile underwater sound decoys (basically a torpedo with the warhead removed, extra fueltanks added and a recorder playing the reactor machinery of the submarine fifteen times stronger than it really is, standing out on SONARs and fooling anyone listening to believe that the sub is somewhere it isn't) and twelve UGM-203A Imsdal SCRAMJET cruise missiles. The sub could bite and bite hard if it was forced to.

Right now, the Murmansk class submarine was at three hundred meters, holding a steady speed of five knots as it listened to the many ships relatively closeby. It was keeping well beneath the tactical silent speed of twenty-five knots, and was the proverbial black hole in the water as it gathered intelligence.

The Wing of SuB-1Cs flew at low level on a standard training exercise flight pattern in the Gulf of Aden, ofcouse that is not what it was, but how was Carthage to know that? The bombers performed a standard crossover turn to face towards teh Bab el Mandeb and opened their bomb bay doors, firing six Wallabe ICCMs each, a total of 432 Missiles flaring at low level towards the targets in distant Jizan, loaded with 50 Incendary Submunitions Each, together they would wreak havox with the cities civilian Populace.

Across Oman and Yemen, eight hundred non nuclear IRBMs fired, each deploying a total of 4 One Tonne High Explosive MIRVs targetted at Riyadh and at Air Bases across Saudi Arabia. Soon the territories of Spizania would expand once more

Bahrayni Response

While at present we are neutral in this conflict, if Carthage asks the Roman Confederacy for help, we will help, and call upon our allies to do the same. Military patrols are being doubled. Eurasian General Staff order all the reserves divisions to be at maximum readiness, The General Staff organize them into 10-division army group’s station in Turkey, Tajikistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan (Eurasian part), the General Staff knew there was a chance that RC might react to the invasion, so therefore all their major garrison near the RC nations were order to be on the watch and look out for any major RC movement.

In Eurasian Tajikistan and Afghanistan , the Missile Silos open up and fire 400 Non Nuclear ICBMs; their target was Multan, Lahore and Islamabad, they load with high yield warheads that were design to do as much damage to cities, they were loaded with thermite which can burn up to 4500 F degrees.

In the Mediterranean Sea

The Second Sub Fleet, which was made of 20 Shark SSBN and 30 Virginia-class SSN, surfaced and fired 20 Tomahawk Cruises Missiles each, so accumulation 500 Tomahawk Cruises Missiles were fired, their target was Alexandria, After firing the missiles, the Subs all drive into the sea and carry out their next part of their mission, which was to rage total war against all TLS shipping in and around the Mediterranean Sea.


The Second Bomber group compose of 200 B-1B Lancers, 200 B-2s, and, 100 B-9A Sphinx with 380 F-16 escorts began the first major bombing raid of the war. Their target was Zahedan, TLS Iran. Their orders were to fire bomb city to nothing, they began dropping their payloads of thermite and Napalm on the city. They set the city of Zahedan blaze by fire bombing it to nothing was their main goal.

The Southern Portugese and French Coasts

OS-Reichsführer Heifer had organized the first assault wave on Carthage in North Africa. He had assembled the 9th Luftwaffe Korps: 8 000 BF-16s (OOC: Layarteb's F-41), 3 000 BF-15s (OOC: Layarteb's F-37), 2 000 Do-110 Heavy Bombers (OOC: Layarteb's B-7 Bomber), and 4 000 Do-113 Stealth Bombers (OOC: Layarteb's B-9 Stealth Bomber). Their targets were primarily those of the XII Carthaginian Army Corps. Their objectives were to destroy and kill as many artillery pieces, tanks, soldiers, coastal defense positions, and airfields as possible.

Given the close proximity of Portugal and Morocco, the Luftwaffe would be able to, hopefully, surprise the XII Babylonian Army Corps, as well as any Babylonian Aircraft on radar.

The 11th Luftwaffe Fleet - based in Marseilles, France - consisting of 1 300 Do-113 Stealth Bombers, 2 400 BF-16s, and 800 Do-110 Heavy Bombers. Their target was to destroy as much of the Babylonian Navy based in the Mediterranean Sea as possible. Supporting them would be the 4th 5th, 7th, 0th, 10th, and 13th Reichsmarine Fleets, based out of Western Portugal. The fleets' objective was to attempt to gain complete and total control of the Gibraltar Straight, bombard all coastal defenses of Morocco, and then attack the Babylonian Fleets.

Supporting all of the Luftwaffe and Reichsmarine Fleets and Korps deployed was the 5th Luftwaffe Fleet, based out of Paris. It consisted of the same planes as the 11th Luftwaffe Fleet did, except the primary role of the 5th was to provide any and all support they could for the German Luftwaffe and Reichsmarine.

Carthaginian Counter-Attack

Iran:

After 300 CAF-1 fighters cleared the area between Bandar Abbas and Sistan va Baluchistan, the Carthaginian IX Army advanced on the city. After shelling the city for 4 hours with regular weapons and napalm, Carthaginian forces stormed into the city, engaging the local defenders.

Half of the Carthaginian Indian Fleet also moved into position to block-off the Bab-el-Mandeb, while the other half went to block off the Persian Gulf.

Mediterranean:

After the initial attacks by Germanian fleets, Carthaginian forces were in disaray. Over 20% of the Mediterranean fleet had been knocked out of comission, and the majority of the coastal defences in Morocco had been destroyed. The city of Cueta, opposite Gibraltar, was a shell of its former self.

Not wanting to be out-done, however, the Carthaginian forces quickly responded. 500 ICBMs laden thermite with were launched from various positions in the Northern Sahara to hit the cities of Madrid, Porto, Barcelona, and Lisbon (125 missiles for each city). Another 200 missiles were launched at the Eurasian city of Istanbul, on the important Dardenelles straight.

The Carthaginian Mediterranean Fleet moved to engage the Germanian fleet attempting to seize control of the Strait of Gibraltar, while the I Storm-Trooper Corp was airlifted to attempt an air-assault on Southern Spain, in the Murcia province (the location was chosen due to the city of Cartagena, which used to be "New Carthage"). The fleet of transport planes was accompanied by 800 CAF-1 Thunders, leaving only 300 to defend the skies of North Africa.

The Carthaginian leadership also sent messages to all parties involved, stating that while there were no "rules" to war, Carthage asked the invading parties to not used Chemical, Biological, or Nuclear weapons. If they did, Carthage would respond likewise, leading to MAD.

OOC: TLS...what city your talking about and how did you get pass my Iranian Front Army Group which on frontier between Sistan va Baluchistan?...I am confuse..

To start with I wouldn't be sending any F-16 to escort the B-1 or B-2 bombers. The fighter radar signature is much larger than that of either of the two craft they are escorting. It just may become a turkey shoot.

The TLS missile attack on Istanbul was serve, but it would have been worse, yet thanks to SAM battalions and AA guns a number of the missiles were shot down, roughly 45 percent were shot down thanks to defense system in place by Layarteb. (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=474249) The death total was around 100,000 dead and 200,000 wounded.

The 1st Persian Gulf Fleet Group under the command of Admiral Mahommed Khosrev, sail out of their homeport in Bushehr, and headed to engage the TLS fleet in the Persian Gulf( see my order of battle for fleet details.) It was going to take two days at full speed for fleet confront the TLS fleet.


At the Jazireh-Ye Qeshim Island ( off the coast of Iran) an major defense complex with at least two reserve division protecting the Islands at all times , it was a key base for the Eurasian Fleet. The High Seas Command send the orders to the missile officers to fire cruise missiles at the TLS fleet. With these orders, the Tomahawk Cruise missiles were fired at the TLS Fleet that was guarding the gates of Persian Gulf, nearly 600 in total were fired at the fleet main ships.


As the TLS forces tried to break thought Eurasian Lines at Bander-e Abbas, yet the garrison was barely holding on. 400 F-22s were assigned to clear the skies of TLS fighters, they fire their missiles and enter dog fights with TLS air corps in the area, plus 300 A-10s were assign to began attack runs on TLS amour and artillery units to knock them out. They drop napalm on the Inf.units to set them a blaze and kill as TLS soldiers as they can do.

Field Marshal Ahmad Shah bin Ismail order the 4th, 5th, 7th Army Corp and 8th Marine Corp were order to encircle and crush TLS IX Army Corp. They began their attacks on the corp. by having all their 2400 G8 G5: 155mm towed gun Howitzer, 300 The PzH 2000 155mm self propelled howitzer, and 600 TOS-1 Buratino 220mm Multiple Rocket Launcher fire at TLS positions in the city or outside the city, the Field Marshal order his units to pull out of the city and allow the TLS forces to walk into a trap. After shelling the TLS forces for nearly seven hours non-stop, the Field Marshal order all his armour, mech inf units with Ka-52 HOKUM B / Alligator Attack Helicopter air support to move in the fight the TLS forces and show no mercy to them at all.


At the same time of the Eurasian Counter attack, the Field Marshal order his remaining corps to attack TLS Sistan va Baluchistan, 6th Paratroop Crop.,7th Paratroop Crop. ,8th Paratroop Crop. ,9th Paratroop Crop. ,10th Paratroop Corp were all para drop all over Sistan va Balchistan,they were order to blow up bridges and other key objects in the area, to prevent the TLS forces from moving freely in the region.

The 6Th, 11th Army Corps and the 7th , and 9th Marine Corp march on to Zahedan,they enacted scorch earth policy, and burn everything that claim across their path. Nearly 200 F-16s were assign to support them by shooting down TLS aircraft and shooting down any ground air attack planes that TLS forces may deploy to attack the ground units. 100 A-10s and 80 AC-130U Spooky were assign to pound the living daylights out of TLS ground support bases and any TLS unit that they may come across during their attack runs. The Eurasian Counter attack has began..

Official Response From The Roman Government

The Roman Empire hereby condemns this conflict as unnecessary and dangerous. We see this as purely a ideological struggle, one where neither nation will win anything but pride and will see both sustain irreperable physical and psychological damage for what is essentially a senseless war. We are calling on all parties to put down their arms and settle the dispute peacefully, as the parties have done before. This war has far too great a cost for it to continue.

Carthaginian Government Declares Great Patriotic War

After the attacks on Carthaginian forces over the last few days, and on Carthage itself, the Carthaginian government has decided to switch the country into Total-War mode. Premier Jigme Singye Wangchuck made this announcement to the people of Carthage,

"Fellow brothers and sisters of the Revolution, the time has come to fight back against the Capitalist oppressors! These fat, greedy, despicable 'people', if they even deserve that title, wish to take our lands, and install the Princes back in power! Meanwhile the Airforce would grab another share of the Glory, a full group of 216 SuB-1C-A bombers took off and flew to about eight hundred kilometres from the Bab El Mendeb, below the enemy fleets radar horizon, the bomb bays opened and each aircraft launched 72 JASSM-ERARM. In Niger and Chad the 5th-10th Armies, stationed in various parts of the country, some not in Niger or Chad itself but down on the coast, in Benin and Togo, began to move the bulk of their forces north-ward. The Border Defense Forces manning the border had already been re-inforced. Now the 50 Corps of the 5th-10th Armies were moving in behind them.

The Armies were spread mostly south of the border, at towns usually around 20 Miles out, as a precaution mostly. If anything short of a full blown invasion occured the Border Defense Forces would be able to handle the situation. In Iranian Front


200 F-22s continue to clear the skies of TLS fighters, they fire their missiles and enter dog fights with TLS air corps in the area, plus 300 A-10s were now busy using their Vulcan cannons and shooting up TLS troop formations.. They drop more napalm on the TLS forces and made sure that they got burned.

Field Marshal Ahmad Shah bin Ismail order the 4th, 5th, 7th Army Corp and 8th Marine Corp slowly encircled the IX Army Corp and began to fight the TLS Army Corp, the three army corps relentless shelled the IX Corp formations, then after shelling them..they attack the weaken lines and storm it, the Eurasian forces uses their BMP-4s as support and T-90s to clear area of TLS forces. Ka-52 HOKUM B / Alligator Attack Helicopter air support to move and began to shot up the TLS forces without mercy.

6th Paratroop Crop.,7th Paratroop Crop. ,8th Paratroop Crop. ,9th Paratroop Crop. ,10th Paratroop Corp were all para drop all over Sistan va Balchistan, they counties their mission of hit and run attacks on TLS supply lines and supply deports in Sistan va Baluchistan.

The 6th, 11th Army Corps and the 7th, and 9th Marine Corp reached Zahedan, the army corps got their artillery into range of the city, the 1600 G5: 155mm towed gun Howitzer, 200 The PzH 2000 155mm self propelled howitzer, 400 TOS-1 Buratino 220mm Multiple Rocket Launcher all fire their shells, and rockets for non stop shelling for 10 hours, then after shelling the city, the 7th and 9th Marine Corps began their assault into the city with the support of 6th and 11th Army Corps, plus 100 A-10s were assign to help to crush the TLS forces in the area. 200 Typhoon EF-2000 Eurofighter were assign to cover and support the Eurasian Forces in their attack on the city of Zahedan.

I don’t think you realize the depth of financial support we have committed to this government Wells. It is in our best interests to see that they succeed in this venture. Our investments in Ottoman Khaif warrant a response from The Republic. I plan to release a statement favoring support for Ottoman Khaif by closing the Straits of Gibraltar to TLS and all her allies. I further intend to involve our Air Force in utter destruction of Carthage infrastructure.”

OOC- I would of probably fight alongside TLS if my nation was at its former strength and weren't wounded from war. Of course right now, I kind of have the eye of NG and Hirg watching me, which never blinks.

The Confederacy finds the recent hostilities in Carthage frighten, yet typical. It leaves many of us Pantheans to ponder if the guns aimed toward Russian just simply turned around onto another nation. Are some world leaders playing “spin the dagger”? Is this apart of "War world tour 2006"?

For fear of our national security. Premier Wangchuck sat in front of the screen in his prviate quarters. On said screen, he saw the entire war unfold. The Carthaginian army that had attempted to take Bandar Abbas had been crushed, and the city of Zahedan would fall to Eurasian forces within 6 hours. The city of Quetta, once a bustling city of 1 million, had been fire-bombed, leaving over 100,000 civilians dead. Meanwhile, in the Indian Ocean, the Carthaginian fleet at the mouth of the Persian Gulf was being attacked by the larger Allied fleet attacking it, as was the fleet at Bab el Mendeb. By the end of the day, the proud and mighty Carthaginian Indian Navy, stretching back to the days of the first colonization of India, would be crushed by the incoming Allied fleets. At this moment, Jigme regretted spending so much on his people. "How foolish I was," he said to himself. "I believed that a government was actually supposed to care for it's people. Now I understand why the Princes kept us under lock and key; with us living in such meager conditions, they could afford to build up the military..."

A few minutes later, the Premier walked out of his quarters and into the war room. It was bustling with strategists looking over the maps and contemplating what to do. He saw that the fleet at the Bab el Mendeb had been hit by around 15000 missiles via air, had lost over 30% of its fleet, and its ability to respond had been crippled. The fleet opted to move deeper into the Red Sea, until the Bab el Mendeb was just within range of their Tomahawk Cruise Missiles. On either side of the Red Sea, Carthaginian fortifications went into prepared mode, preparing to launch missiles at any enemy fleet attempting to enter the Red Sea.

The Premier then decided to take action. He walked over the Missile Command desk, and began issuing orders. The enemies of Carthage and Socialism would soon be enjoying a quick weather change on the scale of 4000 degrees warmer.

The fifth fleet, recently recalled from exercises of Australia departed the new naval base in socotra and moved towards engagement range for the enemy fleet in the Bab El Mendeb.
Meanwhile the Airforce would grab another share of the Glory, a full group of 216 SuB-1C-A bombers took off and flew to about eight hundred kilometres from the Bab El Mendeb, below the enemy fleets radar horizon, the bomb bays opened and each aircraft launched 72 JASSM-ERARM. Simply a JASSM-ER with an ARM seeker fitted, they would fly till the enemy fleet popped over the horizon before activating the ARM package and delivering their warheads onto any active marine radar system (AA, Navigation, Fire Control, CIWS, Air Traffic the works), a secondary short ranged RADAR package would allow them to hit a RADAR system that was deactivated in an attempt to save it.

In the Atlantic near the coast of Portugal, the Court class meduim carrier and Union class fleet battlecarrier changed course, followed by the two mighty Charter class battleships and the rest of the escort vessels. Three cruisers, ten destroyers, twelve frigates, two submarines and a multitude of support vessels changed course along with the capital ships.

In the command center of the flagship, the Union class battlecarrier, the Admiral in charge of the battlegroup looked over the tactical layout that the Cottish satellites had collected. Due to the situation, not a second passed without at least three Cottish satellites being over Carthaginian areas in the Mediterranian. This had the potential of becoming a messy business, the Admiral thought as he looked over the display one last time before looking up. The person who was in charge of the command center when the Admiral wasn't present. The kommandørkaptein stood at one of the large "tables" where the information was displayed on LCD-screens which acted as the plate of the "table". From what the Admiral could see, he was reviewing the archs and ranges of the missiles in the battlegroup. The command center was a very restricted area deep within the bowels of the mighty battlecarrier, guarded by armed Marines with orders to shoot to kill anyone who tried to enter without authorization. Here, every piece of information that the battlegroup needed or might need was displayed and analyzed, being available for the battlegroup commander if or when he needed it.

Throughout the battlegroup, sailors ran to their action stations, many having been shoved out of their bunks by the petty officers and junior officers with the complementary shouting and barking. As the sailors pulled on their uniforms and protective gear (fireresistant hoods, gloves, etc) and manned their stations, Marines ran to their armories and were issued their weapons (AG11A1 Assault Rifles, M74A1 Combat Shotguns, MP7A1 UMP Submachine Guns and P33A1 Sidearms) and combat gear such as tactical vests, helmets, flak jackets, etc.

Three minutes after the order had been issued, all weapons systems had been activated and placed in standby-mode, being only the flip of a switch from going active. The powerful inverted synthetic aperture radars of the vessels scanned the horizon, discovering anything there was to see. The inverted synthetic aperture radar was a pretty nice thing for the Cots to have, since it had the capability of wrapping around anything in the area, thus rendering stealth useless. It could also detect small objects such as missiles and, if they were large enough, incoming shells if they were close enough. This was going to be very useful for the Cots since they were entering a very hot combat zone. It was less than six hours until the first obstacle: Gibraltar.

Four hours out, the ships moved into a very tight formation with the frigates forming the outer picket line, the destroyers and cruisers the next line and the battleships, carriers and support vessels the inner picket line. Fighters were flying constant CAPs over the area, having orders to take out anything which threatened the safety of the Cottish Carrier Battle Group.

OOC: This RP is coming along nicely, kudos to everyone involved. I'm not going to post an ORBAT or anything as I am not involved in this war, but if you wish to see what size 50 Corps is then consult my Forsaken Outlaw boards, its not complete though, an update will be coming soon. I also have 2 Airborne Divisions in Niger and Chad, a Heavy Armoured Corps, three Air Cavalry formations, numerous Air Defense Units, and 4 Army Air Wing's. In Greece I have 2 Fleets, the 4th and the 8th (not the 8th Fleet listed on the Forsakenoutlaw boards, an update will show you its new size), as well as a Marine Division. I also have 3 Air Expedionary Forces active in Chad, Nigeria and Greece.
And TLS, careful where you fire those missiles, any that come near Crete will be shot down.

The losses to TLS missile attacks range from high to low, nearly 250,000 civilians were killed in the attack overall. There was moderate damage military locations in Southern Iraq, roughly 25,000 soldiers were kill and 250 Tanks were destroyed, plus a number of other vehicles.

The General Staff began own counter missile attacks and air raids, 200 F-35 joint Strike Fighters were assigned to attack reported Scuds launcher sites, and to take out in TLS Arabia. Plus 200 F-15 Eagle and 100 F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet" were assign to shot down TLS aircraft over the skies of Arabia and gain air superior of the skies.

Now the missile attacks, 600 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles from many missile sites in Syria , their targets were TLS military positions in all over Arabia. Also 800 Non-Nuclear ICBM (High yield warheads) were fire at Neo-Babylon, and Cairo, TLS Egypt, so 400 to Neo-Babylon and 400 to Cario.

Sistan va Baluchistan was under the jackboot of Eurasian Iranian Front Army , since the fall of Zahedan,, the region major city. Field Marshal General Ahmad Shah bin Ismail move all his major arm forces in the region to clear it of all remaining TLS forces.

During the night, air raids were carried out by 200 F-117A Nighthawk, they attacked TLS missile sites and other arm force bases to weaken the TLS hold of the region. 100 B-2 Bombers were assign to these night raids; they bomb key roads and bridges to prevent TLS forces from moving more forces into the area. Plus 200 F-16 were assign to shot down TLS aircraft over the skies of Baluchistan and gain air superior of the skies.

Arabia Front


The General Staff finally give the green light for the Arabia Front to begin its own campaign against the TLS forces in Arabia. Field Marshal Saad bin Yusef didn’t want to take any chances since he knew that Bahrayni will join the war on TLS side, it was only a matter of time. Therefore he order the 4th Arabian Front to Protect Iraq at all cost.With that, he had to order the 5th Marine Corp. to stay behind since it took heavy losses from missile attack and needed time to reorganize themselves. With that, 1-5th Paratroop Corps were para dropped in Northern TLS Arabia. To secure a number of key towns and roads for Eurasian Forces. 2nd, 3rd, and 9th Army Corp were already marching on Badanah a key town in the north. The 10th, 12th Army Corp and1st and 2nd Marine Corps were marching on Ad-Duwayd. The 4th, 6th Marine Corp and 6th and 8th Black Legion Army Corp were marching on Rafha. The 9th Black Legion Army and 5th Marine Corp were held in reserve for now. 400 A-10s and 50 AC-130U Spooky were assign to help the ground forces in crushing the TLS forces in the area, they shell and drop napalm on TLS lines in the area.

Plus 600 Typhoon EF-2000 Eurofighter were assign to handle any TLS aircraft in the area.

The Persian Gulf Fleet Group was now in range to attack TLS Fleet, Admiral Mahommed Khosrev order 300 F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet" to take to air and secure the skies for the fleet and take out any TLS air groups in the area. Then he order his missile cruises to began firing at TLS fleet location, their targets were the main surface ships of the fleet. They fired over 1200 Sunburn Anti-Ship Missiles at the TLS fleet, and now the results will be soon reported.

There were no losses because there is hardly anyone there to kill. As i said already. And i wasnt aware of any Huahins setting foot on my territory, and do you plan on attacking me on your own? And ofcourse, not all of my military is on Baker island

It was time to escalate.
The Fifth Fleet kept advancing, moving into the Bab El Mendeb, ready to receive the worst the wounded TLS Fleet could give them.
They armed there WASM, They were a variant of the Wallabe ICCM that traded range for speed and an armour penetrating warhead, there range was only about forty percent of the normal weapon but that was still easily sufficient for the task in hand.
Fourteen Hundred were fired blazing towards the TLS Fleet, soon the Red Sea would be littered with the wrecked hulks of enemy ships.
Eight Thousand Regular ICCMs were fired at The Lightning Star Military Posistions across Jizan Province in preparation for a ground assault, if they drew in reinforcements, the forces could always land at thier alternate locations, "all war is deception" maintained Sun Tzu, and it was about to be proved right in yet another battle.

Situation Room – Red

The screens were active with enemy troop movements. All Hell had broken loose around Gibraltar. North Germania was moving towards “The Rock” with a fleet. Carthage was also bearing down on the heavily defended outpost of The Republic. It was time to act. Just when Defense Minister Wells was planning on engaging active targets in the Med. a flickering glimmer lit up the North African map in front of his eyes.

Defense Minister Wells: “Oh my god. TLS may have gone nuclear, ICBM’s launches have been detected. Quick hand me those damn SDI codes!”

The officers scrambled to break open the key codes to the Aristotle System. As they punched in the numeric sequence, a lone signal was bounced off a disguised weather monitoring NEXRAD site to an inconspicuous low orbit satellite. When the beam reached the behemoth, panels unfolded, a quick burst of compressed air turned the angle towards the inbound threats. Almost mimicking a dance move, the bottom panel retracted to expose the advanced G-Beam Laser. This device had been secretly tested several years ago over the North Sea with nominal success. Today would prove the effectiveness of the system.

Throughout England Code Delta was flashed across the emergency broadcast system. All over Hawdawg England citizens took cover under whatever they had available from the unseen threat before them. Key university staff at Cambridge and Oxford where shuttled to the secure underground nuclear complex beneath the teaching centers. Other important leaders, and essential military personnel scrambled to make it to there hardened bunkers before the doors sealed.

The operations center began to track the ICBM’s inbound for several locations. The super computer in the DoD churned out possible intercepts and targets throughout Europe. Most concerning was a group hitting the metropolitan areas of England.

As the weapons officer in charge of Aristotle called out the readiness of the system. He requested permission to fire. When permission was granted the pulsating laser shots began to engage the inbound ICBM’s at there pre-separation stage to ensure maximum effectiveness. Beam after beam was carefully aimed and fired at as many targets as possible but the inevitable happened, some twelve ICBM’s made it through the net, bearing down on a hasty prepared London.

Code Delta had the ABM crew on edge. These tests had been done before almost to the point of exhaustion. What had them alarmed was the all clear tones had not been received. As they sat monitoring there weapons systems, the inbound warning siren went off. All over the radar operators screen multiple targets were bearing down on the city. Almost as if the station was on automatic pilot, the full battery came to bear on the inbound ordinance. Twenty-four MIM-171A missiles streaked skyward into the fray, each actively seeking a target in a deadly game of chicken. As the launchers emptied, the crew scrambled to rearm the system. It would take this crew almost an hour to reload the system and be ready for an additional attack.

After the sirens went off, the people of the historic town scrambled for cover. Some defiant citizens boldly walked the streets. In the distance the streaks of the ABM missiles streaking towards the sky could be seen. Numerous Pirahna Sites protected the vital areas of London, but not all of the bustling city was under such an umbrella of defense. When the impacts of this wave of missiles hit Londoners could feel the raw power of the impacts. Almost as quick as the attack began it was over, but the devastation was real. Throughout the town, multiple fires burned as hundreds of homes in the outer reaches of the city burned. Countless lives were lost along with untold amounts of personal property. Most saddening was the destruction of the symbol of town, Big Ben. He sat on the bank of the Thames River broken into two pieces. The London Bridge also suffered a direct hit with one tower completely destroyed. Two school complexes were directly hit with the thermite and some 1100 school children died a brutal death in the early morning haze of London. The true effects of this attack would take days to sort out, but the resolve and determination of the people was definitely hardened from this event.

Some military personnel cheered when they mistakenly thought the SDI system had saved London. When the reports began to come in from the defensive Pirahna sites, the mood quickly changed in the operations center. The Aristotle System had prevented some ICBM’s from hitting targets but the ground-based defenses weren’t numerous enough around London to absorb all the multiple warheads upon reentry. DM Wells quickly shifted resources, and began to move additional ground-based ABM systems to Southern England. Hopefully the reallocation of resources would minimize another attack if it took place.

Defense Minister Wells then shifted his attention to Gibraltar. The reminants of the Carthagean Fleet were actively moving to engage Gibraltar. This simply could not happen.

DM Wells: “Scramble two squadrons of B-7C’s, I want them in the air in a matter of minutes. I want things blowing up in Carthage before the sun sets men.”

Orders were given and 88 B-7C Incubus Bombers slowly lifted into the sky over Southern England. Flanked by an escort of 96 F-63K Tengriy Air Dominance Fighters, these planes were hell-bent on inflicting massive casualties in North Africa. The world had not seen this Top Secret weapon’s platform in action and her unveiling would be a destructive entrance into the world of war. With a weapons payload of some 200,000 pounds and a radar signature of .0009 sq. ft. her entrance into this conflict would produce a shock not seen in years in Carthage. Each plane was laden with all ranges of ordinance Mk 82’s, Mk 84’s, BLU-108B’s, and WCMD-87CEM (thermite canister’s).

DM Wells: “Dispatch FAG Caleb into the Mediterranean Sea to engage the enemy fleet. Have the 11th Littoral Group set up a picket in front of FAG Caleb. We will unleash our new subs into the mix and see how they like them. Scramble the Fighter Wing on Gibraltar, get them in the air and have them engage those enemy aircraft heading towards NG. It’s either a bomber fleet or airborne invasion group judging by the radar signal its giving off. Make it happen! I want Close Air Support to rip any AA apart on the coast of Morocco, we have 48 A-89C Mokol’s at Gibraltar get them airborne to begin to rake the coastline. Target Cueta first.”

Some 96 F-78K Straken Sokol’s ascended into the sky streaking towards the big blip on the radar screen. Making good time, they should be upon the force within the half-hour. Each plane had a compliment of AIM-9X, VEE-RAID, IRIS-T, and AIM-120D missiles. Behind there launch the 48 A-89C’s of the close air support squadron began to take flight in combat pairs. Each plane was heavily laden with weapons, all fifteen hardpoints on each airframe was filled with Mk 82’s, AGM-88E AAGRM’s flanked by a few self defense AIM-9X or IRIS-T missiles. Each A-89C also sported a heavy anti-armor gatlin cannon. These planes would soon unleash havoc on AA defenses along the Moroccan coast.

Slowly the 11th Littoral Group slid stealth-like into the Med. Sea. The Tennessee Class SSN’s made up the bulk of the force, but the newly purchased CSM variants made up the backbone of the unit. They carried the “keel-breakers” torpedoes that would send any aircraft carrier to the sea floor. Soon they would find out how effective the new units were in a true combat situation.

Official Communique

The Empire throws its support behind our October Alliance allies and our allies in Ottoman Khaif and Doomingsland. We offer our limited services to them in the way of production materials and aide but we shall not become directly involved in this conflict to protect our citizens from the possibility of WMD launched against our country.

The Emperor

After the detection of ICBMs inbound towards Cottish October Alliance allies, all Cottish strategic forces went to BERSTAT-1, being only the turn of a key from launching against Carthage. The hundreds of LGM-209 Ewos ICBMs in the Cottish silos were loaded with ten 500 megaton nuclear warheads each, holding within them the potential of destroying the world several times over. When it became clear that the Carthaginians hadn't fired WMDs, the strategic forces decreased to BERSTAT-2, the third highest alert in the Cottish readyness scheme. An emergency cabinet meeting was called immediately after the alert was reduced and the members returned from the evacuation they had forcefully undertaken. After a short twenty minute debate, it was decided with eighteen to three votes to place all Cottish conventional forces to BERSTAT-3 and to maintain a BERSTAT-2 for the strategic forces.

BERSTAT-3 meant that all leaves were cancelled, patrols were stepped up, reservists were mobilized, the soldiers and Marines loaded their weapons with live ammunition and all ships available put to sea. SAM- and ADA-battalions went active and ABM sites were prepared. By now, the situation was so that if anything even seemed like they would advance against Cotland, the Cots would conduct a preemptive strike. Cruise missiles and aircraft were ready to litterarily own anyone messing with Cotland, should that become necessary.

The Carthaginian ICBM launches had quickly been detected by satelite-based detection systems, and action was quickly taken. The Fist of God Orbital Defense Network quickly swung into action against the enemy warheads, the defensive satelites quickly unleashing a massive barrage of guided kinetic energy projectiles at the inbound contacts.

There was literally five projectiles for every individual warhead, thanks to the sheer compactness and cost effeciency of the Brilliant Pebbles-style system. However, this system, like every other ABM system, was not infallable. While the majority of enemy warheads were initialy shot down, roughly seventy-five warheads managed to breach both Fist of God and land-based theatre air defense missiles.

The results of the strike were immediately noticable. Because of the sheer size of the warheads, the Carthaginians were able to pack them with tons of incindieries. Each individual warhead caused a massive fire, resulting in several firestorms which ravaged across the cities, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians and destroying billions' worth of property.

Imperial High Command, Province of Rusium

The Province of Rusium consisted of all inland Russian provinces occupied by the Empire. A new city had been built to act as the capital of the province, and, indeed, all of the Empire's holdings in the Old World. This city, Urbum Doomanum Nova, was indeed well fortified, the buildings constructed mostly of steel-reinforced concrete, and the majority of living quarters located below the actual building facades.

Within the heart of this fortress-city was the Empire's Old World High Command, where all military operations were controlled and coordinated. World of the missile attack by the Carthaginians had just been recieved, and anger was in great abundance in that dark little hole in the ground.

Proconsul Spurius Secundus, governor of the provice and commander in chief of Imperial forces in the Old World, was not the least bit pleased.

"I suppose we should have expected such a thing," he muttered under his breath as footage of the carnage was projected on the giant monitor at the center of the command center. "I want an immediate retaliatory strike on all launch sites, and a reciprocal strike on Neo-Babylon." he commanded.

"We have bombers already inbound to Neo-Babylon with an incindiery payload as part of the attack." one of his aids replied.

"Excellent. I want that city reduced to ashes. Completely. I don't want a single building left standing by the end of the day."

"Understood, Proconsul."

Imperial VI Armada, Mediterranian Sea

The fleet was a little over two hundred miles off of the coast of Tunisia and well within striking range of Neo-Babylon. The city was in range of the fleet's big guns: twenty and twenty-five inch electro-thermal chemical cannons of the fleet's capital ships. In addition to the incoming flight of ACI-9D strategic bombers, the fleet's complement of ACI-3B Acredula medium bombers was also in the process of being launched along with an escort of ACI-73E Aquila air superiority fighters.

That wasn't the worst part for the Carthaginians. Contained within the fleet were six Vespa-class amphibious vessels, making for a total of three Marine Legions, all prepared to land in the city.

To do this, of course, would most likely be suicide for the men going ashore, but it was all a part of the grand scheme of things. Their sacrifice was part of a far greater plan.

Upon reaching the fleet, the force of one hundred-twenty ACI-9D strategic bombers was greeted by two hundred ACI-3B medium bombers, and an escort force of one hundred-fifty ACI-73Es. All of these aircraft were extremely stealthy, and thanks to the initial strikes against the Carthaginian RADAR sites and satelite network, would hopefully go mostly undetected until they arrived over the city.

The bombers moved swiftly across the night sky, the fires of the burning city of Neo-Babylon guiding them towards their target. The medium bombers hugged the sea, staying nice and low, making use of their low RADAR cross section to allow for an easy penetration of enemy airspace, while the heavy bombers cruised at an altitude of 75,000 feet towards their target.

The fighters stayed in between the formations, prepared to unload a massive barrage of air to air missiles on any enemy aircraft still intact within the sector.

As the bombers began to arrive around the cities, the Acredulae began to climb to a safer altitude to avoid colliding with any buildings, and began to unload their payload of napalm, targetting enemy buildings, while the heavy bombers simultaniously released their payload, an estimated 75,000lb worth of napalm each, meaning that nearly one million pounds would be dropped total. The bombs were all strategically dropped to allow for the most casualties to be created and to destroy the maximum amount of enemy structures and hardware.

They were also dropped to create the maximum amount of firestorms to allow the payloads to reach their maximum potential of destruction. If the High Command's estimate proved correct, the majority of the city would be incinerated by the end of the night.

This strike was not the only one carried out in retaliation of the enemy's attack.

Four Doomanum-class Pocket Dreadnaughts equipped with nine twenty-five inch naval ETC cannons each had recieved orders to strike the PLA's command center in Neo-Babylon, and strike they did. Each of the massive guns had been loaded with a GPS-guided, rocket-assisted shell. Trained skyward, fire belched from the massive guns, spitting out their massive shells, which cut through the air towards their distant target.

The guns would continue to fire for several hours sporadically, but there would be way more than enough shells put out to totally level anything on the surface. Anything below that would be dealt with soon enough.

Meanwhile, the six Vestra-class amphibious carriers along with a cruiser, destroyer, and frigate escort group began to move away from the main armada, preparing to unload their complement of marines to put the first Imperial troops on the ground.

Spain

The Imperial XIII Army had been moved prior into staging areas in Spain previously and were preparing to disembark from those areas and cross the Straights of Gibraltar into Carthaginian Africa. This would be the Empire's main push in the Africa Campaign.

Carthaginian Message to Allied Nations attacking Carthage

"By now, you have all seen the far-reaching aim of Carthage. Hundreds of our missiles have landed on your soil, taking their toll on your populations. This is but a taste of our strength. Imagine, if you will, if we had laden those missiles with Nuclear Warheads? Your largest cities would be wiped off the map. Granted, so would ours in your retaliation, but they would be destroyed in the defence of our homeland, our people, and our sacred honor. Your cities? They would be destroyed because of your greed, your hatred, and your spite.

"In the future, when they talk about the 'Great War' in which many of the worlds cities go up in flame, they won't talk about the hero's on both sides (even though your side is misguided, heros there shall still be, as there are all in all wars), they won't talk about the sacrifice of the people for their glorious homelands. Instead, they will talk about how Eurasia, Doomingsland, North Germania, and their ilk went on a power-hungry rampage in an attempt to gain land from a peaceful nation that hadn't threatened your nations for years, if ever, and in attempting to take that land, the great cities of Berlin, Stockholm, Vladivostok, Istanbul, and Muscat were obliterated in the fire of a thousand suns.

"It is not too late for peace. Carthage is willing to return to the status quo ante with no reparations at all. Seeing how we have lost 3 million people already, this is a great gesture made by Carthage. Our capital is in ruins, but our armies and people stand ready none-the-less. If you accept our terms, no harm shall come to you, and we are only asking once. But if you choose not to accept these terms, remember, we asked nicely, and in your greed and blood-lust you declined, and thus paid the consequences."

"Launch the 9th and 12th Reichsmarine Fleets from Bosnia and Croatia to engage all Carthaginian Naval assets in the Mediterranean. Support them with the 7th Luftwaffe Korps. That is all, gentlemen."

OOC: I had hoped to stay out of this but we are bound by certain convenants that we cannot ignore.

The Emperor stood in his office, looking at the situation report concerning the massive ongoing war against Carthage. The forces of North Germania, Doomingsland, Hawdawg, Ottoman Khaif, and others were all engaged in a serious and major battle in various points of the world, the Mediterranean, North Africa, Pakistan, India, and so on and so fourth. The Empire, thus far, remained neutral in the conflict but when Berlin, Belgrade, Vienna, and so on were attacked by incendiary ICBMs. "I never understood the reason for conventional ICBMs." He remarked to his Joint Chiefs. "An ICBM launch, by nature, is percieved to be nuclear. Using conventional ones could cause a nuclear exchange even when it is unintended. Nonetheless, what can we do?" The Reichskanzler had personally requested the assistance of the Empire and it was a request that could not be denied.

"Well sir. The navy is prepared and ready but we cannot be there for at least three days." The Admiral of the Navy spoke, passing forward a doisser of ships available. "As you can see we are surging them from Iceland and Ireland. We can put at least four AARGs, two CVBGs, and three CVEGs into the area within ten days. The first to arrive will be a CVBG and CVEG, which are only three days out. We can; however, send at least six patrolling submarines from the Atlantic to Gibraltar to attack."

"What class?"

"Sir. We have three Hunters, one Scythe Flight II, and two Seawolf Flight IIIs. They are fully loaded with cruise missiles sir."

"Where is the nearest New York?"

"Currently near Greenland. It won't be able to arrive for five days, minimum."

"Okay. Well. I guess that leaves us at that. We'll send the SSNs immediately but keep them out of the Med for now. It's a turkey shoot there and I don't want to get caught in the crossfire. Keep them silent and steady, we know that Carthage controls all of North Africa so I don't want to get caught in range of his ASW aircraft. Send up fighter patrols from the Canaries, Madeira Islands, and Azores. The primary targets are long-range bombers, ASW aircraft, refueling tankers, AWACS, and anti-ship aircraft. I'll contac the Reichskanzler and try to get him to assist in this concentration.

"Secondly. Send the New York immediately and have her make best speed but do not get compromised. That goes for the SSNs too. I want maximum stealthiness achieved. Now. We need to have an immediately aerial strike ready."

"Sir. With that. We are preparing three flights worth of bombers and escorts. They will launch and come down from the north sir, attacking from over Spain and France, where the Reich will have fighter escorts prepared and ready. Our flights will consist of Incubus, Magnum, and Sphinx bombers all armed with Imsdal, Dreamcatcher, and Voodoo missiles. Flights Alpha and Charlie will concentrate on shipping in the Med. Carthage has a lot of vessels there that need to be neutralized. Flight Bravo will concentrate on airfields and defensive missile batteries around Morocco. They will be escorted by EA-5F Vigilantes, F-25B Firefoxes, and F-39A Tengriys. All aircraft will fly high-altitude ingress profiles at subsonic speeds, maximizing their stealth capabilities. They won't even be in range of Carthiginian surface to air systems when they fire their missiles and the Reich will clear fighters in the way. EA-5s will remain passive unless necessary. They can use their AARGM missiles to strike ship radars from as far out as a hundred miles but we don't plan on getting that close sir."

"What ranges are we launching from?"

"Well sir, it is coordinated so that all missiles arrive within seconds of each other. Dreamcatchers have the longest ranges and will be fired from roughly six hundred to fourteen hundred miles. Imsdals will be fired around four hundred to seven hundred. Voodoos will be fired from between two hundred and fifty and four hundred. All launches will be high-altitude. Once payloads are expended, our bombers will turn for home making best speed. Refueling will take place over Ireland."

"Very well. What is the launch time for the aircraft?"

"Sir. We'll be ready within three hours."

Three hours came and went and all 576 aircraft were in the air, heading towards their waypoints and launch points. They kept ample spacing to avoid creating one large radar target and made sure that they weren't going to be caught off guard either. Active sensors were off except LPI radars, which wouldn't be detected at the extreme ranges that they were engaging Carthage from, let alone even if they were closer. Aircraft formed up over the North Atlantic and began towards their rendezvous points over the North Atlantic and northern Europe. As the bombers came onto their launch points, they would all fire at various times, to allow their missiles to strike around the same times, meaning that it would cause air defense batteries the most amount of pain and suffering.

Just minutes before the first missiles were scheduled to hit, the Emperor went live on national television. "Ladies and Gentlemen of the Empire. I come to you tonight with a request. Our allies in Europe, the Fourth Reich, has come under punishing attack by the nation of Carthage. Cities have been razed and tens of thousands lie dead. These are civilians, just like you. The fierce war that wages to our east, in the Mediterranean and North Africa, India and Pakistan, is a war that could destabilize our current way of life. If our allies are defeated it would only mean one thing for us.

"The defeat of our allies means that we are alone. Carthage will turn their sights towards us and try to annihilate our peace and prosperity that we are enjoying so greatly. Our lands in the Canaries and Madeira Islands are the most vulnerable and it is up to us to protect them from Carthiginian oppression.

"So tonight I come to you with a request. Support me and our Empire in our decision to help our allies, to assist the Reich in defeating the Carthiginian war machine. Within minutes our first missiles will arrive on their targets, naval ships and missile batteries. Our boys launching these missiles will be out of harms way and out of range of the enemy. Nonetheless, there is still risk and danger to all involved.

"May they have the greatest success and we will see them back on the runways. Thank you and good night."

The bombers launched their missiles in succession and in order, firing from friendly territory over France and Spain, using Germanian fighters for initial cover. The Med was a massive shooting gallery with missiles and torpedoes flying everywhere. The SSNs would arrive for forty-eight hours, minimum, and the first naval ships wouldn't arrive for at least three days. They would take up blocking positions between Morocco and the Canaries and Madeira Islands, the most valuable Layartebian possessions in the eastern Atlantic. From there, they could launch air strikes against Morocco and North Africa.

Neuvo Rican High Command, Bulgaria...

The three army groups placed in Bulgaria were on High alert. Massive fighting in the near east and now over the skies of the mediterranean threatened to overspill. In the unlikely event of that happening, all ENR forces in the region were ready to defend. Bulgaria was surrounded by neighbors that the Neuvo Rican empire had no quarrel with.

450,000 Troops on Bulgarian soil now waited - if only to defend from an attack that was never going to happen. The Neuvo Rican military command was looking to put greater emphasis on the acquistion of south american land, so the garrison here in Bulgaria would not be there for much longer...

OOC: I hate how all you guys have god-damn invincible missile shields. If we had invincible missile shields in real life, don't you think we'd use them? Nothing is infallable, especially when you have 250 ICBMS streaming towards your capital city. Hell, even Neo-Babylon doesn't have an invincible missile shield (granted, the regular missile shield wasn't very effective since the first attack was a surprise attack and took out the defences before they could be activated), and Neo-Babylon is (well, was) a thriving megalopolis of 74 million, capital of a nation built on having superior technology than other nations. Also, for a guy (the Reichskanzler guy) who has ordered pretty horrible acts, and supports nations which used WMDs(chemical weaps) on Neo-Babylon for no apparent reason, he went pretty over the top. Didn't he ever hear of 'an eye for an eye'? He supported the mass-murderers who killed 6 million of my people, I kill 1 million of his people. If anything, I still hold the moral high-ground, since I just retaliated with the same weapons which had been used against me.

Also, I'm not leaving E2, since I've been here longer than about 95% of everyone on it (Maybe even you), so if anything, I have to stay since I've been here so long. I've been here since E2 wasn't even revitalized, it was just normal E2. I'm just saying, this RP and that RP both have their strong points; this one has it's RPing strong point, that one has the impossible-to-god-mod strongpoint.

Also, I'm going to assume that I can RP as the Polish Rebels, since 1) No one else wants to RP as the guys who have about a 99.999997% chance of being defeated, 2) I've given them a lot of funding, and 3) I like Polish sausage. Well, that last one doesn't really count, but I wanted to put up a third reason...

The situation room deep within the Government Building, a new modern twenty-story building in downtown Oslos Government Plaza was filled with ministers, generals, admirals and, leading the meeting, the Prime Minister. The King was present as well, although through a video link from the aircraft he was in on his way home from a visit to Svalbard. Plans were being presented, debated, rejected, represented and redebated. Every possible aspect was being explored, and the intelligence analysts worked overtime trying to compile usable data for the people in the situation room.

There were no beating that line of arguments, something which was confirmed when the King gave his concent to the reasoning. The Realm had been forced to go to war. The appropriate orders were issued to all forces in the Area of Operations, and especially to the Carrier Battle Group near Gibraltar.

The orders were issued quickly down the chain of command, with the orders to start preparing for military action arriving at the forces on the banks of the Suez within an hour. M8A2 Targa 155mm and M21A1 Valkyrie 203mm self-propelled howitzers, M270A2 and M142A2 multiple launch rocket systems and several gun cruisers and battleships near the coast started targetting Carthaginian positions which could pose a serious threat to a potential invasion, but held their fire for the moment. As far as the Carthaginians (and everyone else, for that matter) were concerned, the Realm was still neutral.

FB-177A Barsuk fighterbombers were being loaded with GPS-guided JDAM bombs and prepared for sorties while EF-177A Coldun fighters were loaded with AGM-88F AARGM Block II anti-radiation missiles and prepared for doing their duty of suppressing enemy air defenses, or SEAD for short. F-22B Raptors. F-37C Razors and F-63K Tengriys were loaded with air to air munitions in the form of the AMRAAMs, BVRAAMs, IRIS-Ts and the powerful Dødsengel advanced extreme-range air to air missile (AERAAM). For the time being, these aircraft kept themselves within Cottish territory, protecting their sovereignty. As far as anyone not currently in the forces in Sinai were concerned, the Realm continued their declared mobilizations for neutrality watch. How more wrong could they have been?

Additional forces were being mobilized on the ground, with the forces currently on the western bank of the Suez now consisting of four armored brigades, twelve mechanized infantry brigades, five light infantry brigades, two airmobile brigades and an urban combat brigade, most of them from the Territorial Army but currently mobilized for Federal duty, and several Marine Expeditionary Brigades, quickly assembled and highly independent fighting units consisting of two to three infantry regiments, one to three tank battalions and a few specialized battalions such as reconnisance, anti-tank, etc. Most of the Marine tank battalions were equipped with older M5A3 ‘Løve’ main battle tanks, vehicles which were still more than capable of dealing with almost any armored opponent, but also some newer M39A1 Mekhev II next-generation battle tanks from the Armed Republic of Soviet Bloc. In all seven Marine Expeditionary Brigades had been mobilized and prepared for action. In reserve, the commander of the Sinai area had several light infantry brigades and a finite number of armored and mechanized infantry brigades. In addition came the airborne forces.

The Carrier Battle Group near Gibraltar also recieved their new orders. They were to engage any enemy target of opportunity from H-hour, which was when the battlegroup passed the Straits of Gibraltar, the outer grid of the Mediterranian Area of Operations. The two Charter class battleships had six powerful 508mm electro-thermal cannons each, as well as twenty powerful 130mm secondary cannons for dual purpose. When they would pass through the strait in two hours, the Charter class battleships would fire the first shots of the Cottish engagement in this conflict, codenamed “Operasjon: Tvungen Seier” [Operation: Forced Victory]. About the same time the battleships at the Gibraltar opened fire, the artillery on the border with Carthage and the naval artillery off the coast of said border would also start opening fire. A few SSM Brigades would also start firing long-range cruise missiles of the Imsdal-type against Carthaginian positions, starting a seventy-two hour bombardement of Carthaginian Egypt along with the mighty air power the Cots had in Sinai and Israel. The ground forces wouldn’t enter Carthage until after those seventy-two hours at the earliest.

The Cots would deliberately avoid targetting civilian infrastructure or positions, aiming only to weaken the Carthaginian military. This was partially due to the Cottish feeling that they had been forced into this conflict and thus they didn’t want to create any lasting bad blood between Carthage and Cotland by killing civilians. The Cots would, as best they could, only engage military targets. There would be no carpet-bombing of cities like the early stages of the Kalmykian Campaign had contained.

[ Two hours later ]

The large battlegroup passed through the Strait of Gibraltar silently and quickly, moving in a very close formation. As they passed clear of the narrows and could once again reassume the propper formation, the main gun turrets of the two battleships turned towards the south. A few surviving military targets within range had been identified and confirmed to be purely military by satellites and UAVs, and thus clear for the Cots to engage. Each gunbarrel was elevated to the proper angle and loaded with a high-explosive shell before the order came. At an instant, the twelve 508mm gunbarrels on the two battleships opened fire, sending deadly projectiles against the positions. The battleships reloaded and continued firing while the Union class battlecarrier started deploying A-5D Vigilante bombers loaded with GPS-guided JDAM bombs, escorted by EA-5F Vigilante electronic warfare aircraft and F-63N Tengriy carrier-borne air dominance fighters laden with air to ground munitions. The Cots depended on the allies having destroyed what existed of air defense sites, but still had four EA-5Fs loaded with AGM-88F AARGM Block Iis for SEAD duty. The powerful jammers of the aircrafts were also searching the area, locking onto any Carthaginian RADAR or LADAR and jamming it to the best of the bomber-deteriative’s ability. In all, eighteen A-5D Vigiilantes (each carrying thirty 250kg JDAM bombs and four IRIS-Ts), four EA-5F Vigilantes (each with four AGM-88Fs and four IRIS-Ts) and sixteen F-63N Tengriys (each with four IRIS-Ts, four AMRAAMs, eight BVRAAMs and four Dødsengels) flew high and fast against the Carthaginian territory.

At the same time, in Sinai, more than four hundred artillery pieces opened up against Carthaginian military positions while the MLRS’ fired submunitions against airfields and bases within range. The Imsdal-B cruise missiles flew up and targetted themselves against Carthaginian naval and air bases, spraying thermite against the military targets and doing their best to render them and the ships / aircraft operating from them useless. The missiles came down at a steep angle at Mach 7, making them pretty much impossible to defeat. After having dispersed the submunitions, the missile itself crashed into the target, making a very big hole thanks to the kinetic energy the metal projectile made when crashing into a static target at speeds in excess of Mach 6.9. The SEAD fighters also got to work, targetting Carthaginian SAM sites and destroying them. They were protected by the fighters, which were now moving into position to take out the enemy air force as best it could. Cottish SAM sites, mostly MIM-211 ‘Salt’ long-range sites targetted Carthaginian aircraft and fired many missiles against them. In short, the Realm of Cotland was at war with Carthage.

The Realm of Cotland hereby declares its intent to follow the vow we made when we became members of this alliance: to protect our allies if they were attacked at home. The Carthaginian ICBM-attack on Hawdawg and the Fourth Reich are the reason why the Realm now sees fit to engage Carthage. We hold no bad blood with Carthage, and will as such play a small role in this campaign. We will not target any Carthagianian civilian targets, purely military ones. The Realm of Cotland hereby declares that a state of war exists between Cotland and Carthage due to the obligations our nation has to our alliance members. This would not have happened had your government not ordered the ICBM-strike against the allies of the Realm. We demand a surrender of all Carthaginian military assets and that the people responsible for the strike be delivered to Hawdawg and/or the Fourth Reich to answer for their actions. Should this not occur, we shall be forced to take further military actions against the Carthaginian military and leadership.

Please note that the Realm holds absolutely no grudges against the Carthaginian people and will do its utmost to refrain from attacking the civilian populace. We ask that Carthage shows the same courtesy to the Realm.

The Dual Monarchy of Sparta Dominion was preparing for war. It was going to go the aid of The Lightning Star and attack Doomingsland.

The Spartans had learned much since the disastrous war against Kreynoria. They had improved their equipment and tactics. This time, they were going to harness their greatest strength: the helots.

For a long time, the helots had been opressed slaves. But after the Kreynorian war, they were becoming more of lower class citizens rather than slaves. But if there was one thing they desired above all else, it was freedom and equality. They would do virtually anything to gain it. The Spartans planned to use this.

30 million helots were pulled from their work and brought to the rebuilt capital of New Sparta. There they were addressed by the kings. They would be fighting Doomingsland. If they conquered its territory, they would keep it as their own land. They would have self-government. They would have freedom.

The regular Spartan army began training the helots for war. Each helot received one week of training. This training wasn't much. They learned to maintain ranks and fight as a unit, to follow orders, to handle weapons, and would get some target practice and physical exercise.

Once their week of training was complete, they would be assigned to a 10,000 strong unit. The chain of command was simple, there were three ranks: private, captain, and general. The privates followed the captains' orders, the general commanded the unit.

Nor was much attention paid to their equipment: each helot received one AK-47 with four clips of ammo, one Beretta M9 pistol with three clips of ammo, two hand grenades, a knife, a flare, a radio, a flashlight, a bulletproof vest, three days' rations and water, and a first aid kit. That was it. Once they were trained and equipped, they were sent near the Doomingsland border to await the order to attack.

Off the Coast of Morocco
The flight of B-7C Incubus bombers separated into four distinct attack groups of 22 bombers some 40km off the coast. Each attack group with its compliment of 24 F-63K’s freshly refueled from the air tankers, would bear down on military targets around four principle targets: Tangier, Cueta, Te’touan, and Chechaouena. Each Bomber Group climbed to 75,000 ft. to begin the bombing runs on the pre-selected military targets in and around these Moroccan cities. The fighter escorts flew close by carefully monitoring the Radar, looking for targets of opportunity in the Moroccan Sky, fully prepared to suppress any AA or fighter CAP that might present itself in the early evening sky.

Minutes South of the Murcia Province

The flight of 96 F-78K Straken Sokol’s eased off the throttles just outside the Murcia Province Airspace. The sky was alive with enemy fighters and transport aircraft. The Hawdawg pilots had flown straight into an airborne drop-zone. While the F-78K’s couldn’t do anything about the airborne troops already “in transit” to the ground, they could wreak havoc on the transports and fighter cover.

Flight Leader: “Oh my! We have flown into a hornet’s nest. Look alive men, we have ton’s of bogey’s choose from. Stay with your wingman at all times! This soup is going to get thick!”

As the F-78K’s engaged the enemy aircraft one thing was for certain the odds didn’t appear to be in their favor. Even with multiple AIM-9X, IRIS-T, and AIM-120D’s they didn’t have enough ordinance to bring down a force of this size. The dogfight that ensued over Murcia Province raged on……………………

11th Littoral Group
75nm East of Gibraltar

The 24 Tennessee Class Submarines slowly slid along under the blue-green frothy Sea at a crawling pace of 5 knots, running on the AIPS system. This first line group had fanned out in a picket roughly 10,000 meters apart moving directly at the incoming Carthagenian Fleet. At a distance of some 40 km from the approaching fleet each of the 24 Tennessee’s let loose a fan of six 21” Mk.155 21” torpedoes. Each Mk.155 cruised at 55 knots towards the approaching fleet. With a detection range of 6km the wide fan shot of 144 “fish” would claim several casualties when evasive maneuvers were called for. Trailing slightly behind the Tennessee’s SSN’s were 5 deadly Hirata Class SSGN’s each sporting a revolutionary VLS system and the venerable 21” Mk.155. Each Hirata had the capability to fire 56 Imsdal’s Cruise Missiles or a modified RIM-162 from the unique jettison launcher. The jettison launcher propelled the Imsdal or the RIM-162 above the surface much like a modern Polaris missile before the rocket motor fired. This allowed the Hirata to engage both ground and sea targets of opportunity while remaining submerged in the shallows. The Hirata’s had been reconfigured on this mission to provide AA support for the Littoral Group.

Bringing up the rear of the picket was an additional 5 Hirata’s and 4 Orca Class SSGN’s. The Orca carried the 28” behemoth “keel breaker” torpedo, capable of actively engaging and sinking most 100,000ton ships with 1-3 hits, all while fired from a range of some 32-70km. With the capacity to fire up to 6 at a time, the Orca’s would hunt the larger vessels of the fleet.

As the Attack Group drew closer to the incoming Carthagenian Fleet, the Vulcan Class Arsenal ships were the first to let loose a volley. Over 200 BGM-203 Imsdal’s left there launchers and headed down range on the enemy fleet. A mixture of hard penetrating warheads, Depleted Uranium shot, and thermite carrying missiles bore down on the fleet. Each of the 6 October Class Destroyers fired a total of 24 BGM-211 Voodoo anti-ship missiles at the Carthagenians. All available fighters were in the air over the Fast Attack Group covering the group from air assault. A lone E-2 Hawkeye roamed about calling down ordinance and providing the much needed eye in the sky for the commanders in the field.

Air over Cueta

The flight of 48 A-89C’s had been in the air for about 15 minutes when they began to seek out targets of opportunity along the Moroccan coastline. Numerous hard targets had been identified by intel. and were slated for destruction. As the slow but agile A-89C’s began to work on the ground forces along the coast, the landing Cottish Marines would soon arrive to begin the ground assault.

Hirgizstan City, Cape Verde

In the Great National Hall, the tallest building on earth and the only one with its own atmosphere, just over half a million people were gathered in their seats and in the corridors, not to mention the millions, probably billions, of people around the country watching the Hall through televisions in their homes or elsewhere.

People had been waiting for days with baited breath as a war raged on the northern African frontiers. Nearly every COH ally had become involved in a matter of days. Petitions and letters by the thousands had arrived every day in the Fuhrer's Office, pleading for him to declare war. Success had followed success in Senegal and the people were flushed with expectation.

As the Fuhrer ascended the steps from under the podium the audience gathered in the great hall shot up out of their seats and saluted as one. The Fuhrer acknowledged them and stood, stridently, on the podium in the middle of the hall, the people all around.

His voice was projected through the hall by a multi-million dollar speaker system and the people listened in earnest expectation.

"My people, Hirgizstanians, Patriots...today we go to war!" The crowd erupted in cheers and clapping, echoing throughout the great building. It took nearly five minutes for the cheering and applause to stop.
"We have waited and judged the situation, like a wolf pack that stalks their prey. And now we strike. For too long a communist nation has plagued Africa, for too long they have held back their people in the mire, and this will not continue. We will free those people from their shackles.
Our gallant allies aswell, must be mentioned, for they have suffered great trauma in their endeavours and we must not let such things go unpunished. Today, I have declared that a state of war exists between the Commonwealth and Carthage." At that point the crowd broke into a frenzy that wend unabated for nearly half an hour as the Fuhrer stood produly gazing over the mass of people in the Great Hall.

Northern Province, Chad- Libyan Front

The Border Defense Forces, arrayed along the 600+ mile border with Libya began, around mid-morning, to shell the nearby border towns and settlements, using their M109A6 Paladin and M1A5 Fuhrer-Abrams units. The 2 1/2 Army's (25 Corps) arrayed just south of the BDF positions also began shelling the border towns in earnest. However, hundreds of MLRS units moved up close to the border and began firing at the city known as Ma'Tan as Sarah, around 100km away. This was accompanied by a volley of 500 Cruise Missiles from farther south.
F-104X and F-16J's began flying CAP mission close to the border, to deter any Carthaginian attacks.

The battle had begun in earnest.



North Western Province, Niger- Algerian Front

Much the same was happenin in Niger, as was happening in Chad. Artillery strikes were striking military fortifications up and down the border with Algeria, and MLRS and a 500 Cruise Missile strike was concetrated on the border town of In Guezam, the closest Algerian city to the border.

Farther south more COH forces were being deployed and sent north, both in Niger and in Chad.


Greece, Mediterranean Sea- Mediterranean Front

As the sun beat down on the coastal cities of Hirgizstanian Greece the 3rd and 7th Fleet's began to slowly pull away from the ports of Thessaloniki and Alexandrouplolis, where they had been docked for some time. From Kavala the 1st Marine Division also pulled out with its ships in tow, to meet up with the two Fleet's near Limnos Only some of the escort ships had ventured out in the past few days, to take stock of the area. But now the entire two Fleet's were moving out to support both TOA, OK and Doomingland forces arrayed in the Med.

As they moved out into the ancient Aegean the two fleet's sighted each other's foremost ships and began to arrange in battle formations on either side of the Island of Limnos. It would take the guts of a day to pass the many islands of the Aegean and the fleet's would probably be in sight of the shores of Northern Crete by sundown. But at Limnos they two Fleet's stopped, to fire their first volley.

Both Fleet's combined were able to must a volley using 90% of their Cruise Missile capabilities. In just over an hour 18,700 missiles were fired. The vapour trails shot up into the sky time and time again, leaving a lingering light fog that stayed for hours, hanging lazily over the shores of Limnos and on the light blue waters of the Aegean. Such a volley had yet to be fired during the war, and this was only one such volley, tomorrow was another day!

Japanese Officials had arrived over night via plane to speak with Commanders in charge with the CarthoIndo-JapoMyo border. Throughout the course of the entire event happening with-in Carthage and it's waters, the Japanese Government decided not to take any risks. They were to discuss such matters in hopes to militarise the border with the Carthaginians and not pick up any arousement from their Government. The Japanese were going to remain somewhat solemn with such events, in hopes to prevent the war from drudging over into their Waters and Territory.

But something had to be done about the status of territorial waters with-in Southeast Asia, in the Phillo-Japo portions of the open sea. Perhaps the Japanese should finally shut down it's International Status, and put it under complete control of Sino-Japo forces and allow access to only Pacifinesia.

Land Fronts

Pakistani Front

. Field Marshal General Ahmad Shah bin Ismail finally give the order for his Front to march into Greater India aka Pakistani regions. With the air support 200 F-15 Eagle and 100 F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet” to maintain air superior and 200 A-10s to attack ground units in the area.

First 6th-10th Paratroop Corps were para drop into Baluchistan and were assign to blow up and attack TLS arm forces supply depots and com stations. The 4th, 5th, and 6th Army Corps headed to Quetta, they burn everything in their path. They were attacking from Eurasian Afghanistan. It only took them two days to reach the city, which they began to shell the city for 6 hours non-stop, then they storm the city…with heavy artillery support.

The 11th Army Corp, 7th Marine Corp, 8th Marine Corp, 9th Marine Corp and 10th Marine Corp were assign to march on to Karachi, they march from Zahedan. They were burning everything that lay in their path to the city, they were still five days away at maximum speed.


Arabia Front

Field Marshal Saad bin Yusef realize it was or never to storm Arabia and take the prize of Arabia. Soon the 1st-5th Paratroop Corps were para dropped near Ha’il and Shaqra, they were order to take the cities and secure the roads for the Army corps as they march into Arabia.

The 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th Army Corps were assign to take the region of Al-Hljaz, their prime targets to capture were Medina and Mecca. They burn everything in their path. It was going to take them at least five days to reach the two cities. 200 A-10s and 20 AC-130U Spooky were assign to attack the ground defenses of the Al-Hljaz.

The 12th Army Corp, 6th Black Legion Army , 8th Black Legion Army , and 9th Black Legion Army were assign to take Riyadh, they also burn everything in their path. 150 A-10s and 30 AC-130U Spooky were assign to soften up the TLS defenses of the city. It was going to take four days for the forces to reach the city.

300 Typhoon EF-2000 Eurofighter were assign to handle any TLS aircraft and make
sure the skies stay friendly.

Mediterranean Front

As for the 1st Marine Corp, 2nd Marine Corp., 3rd Marine Corp.,4th Marine Corp. ,5th Marine Corp. , and 6th Marine Corp. they were reassign to Turkey, and to board the Mediterranean Fleet transport ships. To open up another front against TLS, the fleet was under the command Admiral Suleiman, they set sail out of Izmir Naval Base, it was going to take them nearly six days to reach their target at maximum speed. ( Order of Battle for Mediterranean Fleet is exactly the same as Order of battle for the Persian Gulf Fleet.)

Because of the high alert status of Imperial forces, Spartan mobilization along the border did not go unnoticed. If anything, it stirred up the hive even more than the Carthaginian missile attacks did. Thirty million men was not a number that the High Command took lightly, even if they were all simply poorly trained, poorly equipped disposable conscripts. This massing of forces along the border was seen as nothing less than a prelude to an invasion, and Proconsul Secundus did not like it one bit.

A telegram was immediately dispatched to the Spartan government:

We have shown no hostile intent towards yourselves or your people. Your mobilization along the border is positively unwarranted. We demand that said forces immediately be withdrawn. We are giving you a three hour deadline to begin pulling troops out. If this deadline is not met, than a state of war shall exist between the Imperium Doomanum and Sparta. Do not take this lightly, for the sake of your people and that of yourselves.

With the initial demands to the Spartan government sent, Imperial troops within Rusium began to mobilize. Imperial Guard units were activated and shuttled to defensive positions along the Spartan border in preparation for what was certain to be a bloody conflict. Behind the initial lines of defense set up by the more poorly equipped (but fanatically motivated, none the less) Guardsmen were eight armored and mechanized legions, positioned as reserves to the line that was certain to be broken after enough pressure by enemy forces.

Patrols by Corvus attack helicopters along the border were stepped up, and the Imperial Airforce increased its own presense in the sector, making sure that there would be no less than eighty attack aircraft patroling the border along the time, with the rest prepared to scramble at a moment's notice. Air superiority fighters and AWACS aircraft were already on highest alert, pulling 'round the clock sorties, simply waiting for the moment the Spartans would be dumb enough to pull the trigger.

Strategic forces were also placed on the highest alert, intermediate range ballistic missiles equipped with chemical payloads similar to those used on Neo-Babylon were ordered to commence fueling.

Worst of all for the Spartans, the 5th Strategic Bomber Force was ordered to launch. They would loiter until one of three things happened: The deadline was met and Spartan forces began to withdraw from the border, the deadine passed and the Spartans failed to commence withdrawal, or if the Spartans launched their attack early.

Carthaginian Defence:

All over Carthage, the people have been whipped into a frenzy, for this was just the kind of event that the Revolution had been preparing for. Since citizens could read and learn, the "Time of Troubles" was rammed into their head (although, this had been a practice since the Empire). Every citizen knew every bloody detail of those times; the allies of Carthage turned on it, and tore it to pieces. The most memorable part of the invasion was when an army of Parthians, coming from the same region as the Eurasians, stormed into Carthaginian India, just like the Eurasians, and began to mercilessly slaughter everyone who resisted. Tens of millions were slaughtered, and the Parthians carried out a plan of systematic genocide against the natives, as well as nuking many key Carthaginian cities. Although it happened long ago, every Carthaginian government made sure to keep the memory fresh in every generations minds, and news of October Alliance and allies war crimes (especially by Eurasia and the Germanians) spread quickly throughout the nation.

Secondly, every citizen was bombarded with Propaganda since birth. They were taught about how glorious the Carthaginian State was (seeing how it was the oldest continually existing state, stretching all the way back to 700 B.C.), and how if Carthage fell all its people would suffer. In essence, the Carthaginian people were brainwashed (especially the poor masses).

Thirdly, many Carthaginians who held no love for the revolution were devout Carthago-Sunni Muslims, who followed the word of the Caliph blindly. This, coupled with news of Eurasian attrocities and news of the fire-bombing of Carthaginian cities, drove many to join the Mujahideen.

Pakistani Front:

The 7 Army Corps and the 2 Shock Trooper Corps stationed in Pakistan began to move towards the invading Eurasian Army. The Air Force sent out 500 CAF-1 Thunders to intercept enemy airplanes in the region. With news of the carnage that Eurasian forces were inflicting on the civilian population, many of the civilians began to take up arms against the invaders. Poorly-trained but motivated Militias sprung up all over the countryside and attempted to stop the invaders. Although they were mostly wiped out, they did manage to slow the procession of Eurasian forces towards Karachi.

Carthaginians also begin to initiate suicide-bombing attacks on Eurasian forces. Carthage-supporters in the former-Carthaginian provinces of Tajikstan and Afghanistan begin to imitate the suicide-bomb attacks, and soon they are being carried out in all occupied territories and former-Carthaginian provinces.

Carthaginian Naval Forces in and around Gibraltar are nearly wiped out, the remaining forces (16 Destroyers, 4 Cruisers, 1 battleship) make a mad dash through the straits and dock at the port of Casablanca.

On Sicily, the entire island is covered in flames. On satellite images, Sicily is covered by a giant black cloud. Smoke covers the entire island, suffocating many. The major cities are all incinerated, leaving millions dead. The island of Sicily looks like what the Apocalypse is supposedly going to be. In Italy, millions are also killed in the attacks on the major cities, although those in countryside are relatively safe (unlike their Sicilian counterparts).

North Africa:

In Morocco, the Carthaginian land defences are nearly entirely wiped out, as well as 95% of all the vehicles and 50% of the soldiers. Never-the-less, the Carthaginian soldiers stand steadfast in the face of the invading Germanian hordes. The few remaining airplanes make suicide runs to drop all their bombs on the invaders and to drop mines. None of the planes returned from their missions.

All over North Africa, Carthaginian military bases were pounded by Alliance airplanes and missiles. Over 80% of the aircraft stationed in the region were destroyed, and 40% of all military equipment. Algiers, Neo-Babylon, and Tripolo were bombed to ruins by Hirgisztani forces, and forces began to swarm across the southern border. The Algerian XI Corps and the Libyan XV Corps moved as fast as they could to intercept the invaders, but they were severly damaged by the airstrikes.

In Egypt, the XIII Corp rushed to the border to engage the invading Cottish soldiers. Meanwhile, the XIV Army Corps and the V Shock-Trooper Corps, both based in Jerusalem, swept down to engage Cottish forces from the rear. The 50 CAF-1 Thunders began to attack Cottish positions while their aircraft were busy over Egpyt.

Arabia Front:

The city of Riyadh, long since abandoned after the fire-bomb attacks, is abandoned as the VII Shock Trooper Corps retreats to Neo-Makkah to assist the VI Shock-Trooper corps build its defences around the Holy City. Over 1,000,000 devout Muslims from around the world come to help defend Islams holiest city in its war against the invading hordes. A ring of SAM sites is created around the city, as is a large system of trenches and artillery-emplacements. The Mujahideen are put in the second and third line of trenches, while a mix of shock-troopers and Mujahideen are put in the first and the rest of the Shock Troopers are put in the 4th line of trenches (the one closest to the city). A minefield is created 20m away from the first line.

Red Sea:

After the Cots joined the war on the enemies side, it was all over. Although the plan to trap the enemy fleet would have worked brilliantly, the cannons and missile silos intended to help in the move were annihilated and Cottish planes and ships trapped in the Carthaginian ships. Although they fought valiantly, the Carthaginian Indian Navy was wiped out soon after its Mediterranean counterpart suffered the same fate.

Med. Sea

As the Carthage fleet knifed through FAG Caleb, guns were brought to bear on all the enemy vessels. Carnage ensued. At nearly point-blank ranges, it was hard to avoid friendly-fire casualties. When the few remaining vessels survived the head-on attack, it was clear they were making a dash for the straits. The attack was called off, to ensure no vessel was sunk in the navigational channel. Slowly FAG Caleb turned and gave chase with her remaining ships of the line. As the FAG moved West back through the Straits, the fires in the night sky danced eerily all along the Moroccan Coast. Sporadic fire, mostly from small arms greeted FAG Caleb as it made the narrows and began to trail the wounded Carthage fleet. The E-2 Hawkeye made the call and informed the Attack Group the Fleet had made port in Casablanca. This was all the Group needed to hear. Once the FAG had closed to 400nm, the October Class Destroyers unleashed the remaining Voodoo antiship missiles from there berths. Both Vulkan Class Arsenal ships unloaded another 200 BGM-203 Imsdals downrange on the Naval Complex at Casablanca. The Anakara Guided Missile Cruiser joined the fray and unleashed an astounding 250 Imsdals downrange. Ordinance rained down on the Port of Casablanca.

Skies over Murcia Province

With the help of the NG Air Force the flight of F-78K’s had cleared the skies of the enemy aircraft. True the Airborne had made a successful jump, but they were on their own. The F-78K’s not lost in the air battle over Murcia returned to Gibraltar to rearm and begin attacks on Moroccan Forces.

Over Ceuta

The Flight of A-89C’s had worked hard against ground targets most of the day. As the sunset on the coastline of Morocco, the glowing embers of the military complexes in and around Ceuta, Te’touan, and Chechaouena lit up the night sky. Shoulder-fired weapons still remained a problem, and took several aircraft down, but any organized AA or SAM capabilities were almost nonexistent. It wasn't too early in this campaign to start discussing total Air Supremacy for the attacking forces.

Bombing Runs over Morocco

All B-7C Incubus Bombers had made successful strikes against the predetermined military targets of interest each group was assigned. Loads of WCMD’s, Mk.82, Mk.84 bombs were dispersed on target throughout the region. Upon return and rearming JDAM’s and MOAB’s were selected for the next run to minimize civilian casualties. Targeting selections had Rabat, Casablanca, and Al Jadida slated for the next run. Of particular interest was the Naval Facility at Casablanca, it housed the remaining Carthage Fleet that survived the breakout at Gibraltar. A combined one-two punch by FAG Caleb and a flight of 22 B-7C's would soon make the remaining Carthage navy a non-factor in this war.

Morroco

With the securing of a beachhead in Morroco by Germanic forces, the Imperial XIII Army began rapid deployment across Straights of Gibraltar into what was formerly Carthaginian-occupied Morocco. The force, thanks to the superb logistics arrangements in place, would be able to be totally across within twelve or so hours, and would have begun its initial deployment to the front even before then.

The push through the Carthaginian homeland would be spearheaded by Doomingslanders, that was becoming more and more clear.

Neo-Babylon

The six Vespa-class amphibious carriers had finally moved into position and began unloading their complement of hovercraft along with a force of air mobile Imperial Marines via Banshee VTOLs. They would be attempting to establish a beachhead within Carthage's capital under heavy naval artillery and close air support.

Meanwhile, the force of aircraft that had just struck the city had run out of ammunition and headed back to their carriers and bases to prepare for yet another large-scale raid.

Now that the first stage of the war was nearing completion, the Marine invasion force destined to seize Sicily for the Empire prepared to leave the ports of their German hosts and launch the invasion. The force consisted of fifty-thousand or so Marines, more than enough to take the island. The reason for such a large force for such a small target was simple: once they were done with Sicily, they would move onto the mainland to assist German troops in securing Southern Italy.

Thus far, the Empire had not seen a single failure in the Fourth Punic War, as it was being called on the part of the Doomingslanders. Hopefully it would stay that way…

As the Doomingslanders attempted to create a beach-head, the Carthaginian forces moved into positions. Since the once-grand city of Neo-Babylon was now nothing but ruins, the defenders had the advantage. The 3 Army Corps in the city and the 1 Shock Trooper Corp (the other was in Zarzis) began to fortify their positions, as well as put up hundreds of mobile SAM sites, in order to prevent Doomingsland aircraft from gaining too much superiority.

The 200 F-15 Eagle and 100 F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet” began to engage the TLS aircraft over the skies of Pakistan. Field Marshal Ahmad Shan Bin Ismail order 400 F-35 joint Strike Fighter to move in and the join the air battle and turn the battle in favor of the Eurasian Arm Forces.

Field Marshal Ahmad Shah bin Ismail order massive bomber and cruise missile attack on all TLS army and shock trooper corps in Pakistan. Nearly 2,800 cruise missiles loaded Themite warheads were fired at TLS corps. Plus another 800 IRBMs were fired at TLS army corps in Pakistan, they were loaded with Themite warheads also. Now the bombing runs…Roughly 100 B-1B Lancer,600-B-52,300 B-2 and 200 B-9A Sphinx bombers were assign to bomb the living daylights out of the TLS Pakistani Army Corps and Shock Trooper Corps, they dropped massive bomb loads of Napalm and Themite on the troop formations. Then 400 A-10s and 100 AC-130U Spooky were assign to finish off any remaining units in the area. They use their Vulcan cannons and drop more napalm on the TLS units. After the A-10 and AC-130U Spooky attacks runs, another 400 IRBMs were fired this time loaded with high yielded warheads.

The 6th-10th Paratroop Corp linked up with the 4th, 5th, and 6th Army Corps near Quetta. The Army corps open up their artillery fire at the TLS corps that trying to stop them from marching any deeper into Pakistan. Yet the air force did give them a good beating, before they could attack the Eurasian land forces. The artillery fired about 2400 G5: 155mm towed gun Howitzer, 300 The PzH 2000 155mm self propelled howitzer, 600 TOS-1 Buratino 220mm Multiple Rocket Launcher were fired at TLS forces.

The 11th Army Corp, 7th Marine Corp, 8th Marine Corp, 9th Marine Corp and 10th Marine Corp repeated the same attack on the TLS forces facing them on their march to Karachi.

Also now the 3rd Iranian/ Afghanistan Front(2nd Black Legion Army Corp.,7th Black Legion Army Corp.,10th Black Legion Army Corp., 1-30 Reserve Divisions) move in to support the 2nd Iranian Front Army Group. The 2nd and 7th Black Legion Army Corp was send to support the battle near Quetta. The other units were held in reserve.

Eurasian Garrisons in Afghanistan and Tajikistan brutally crush the pro TLS support in those regions; they quickly behead the supports and put their heads on pikes to serve as warning to whoever dare to rebel against the government.

Arabian Front

Field Marshal Saad bin Yusef order the 1st-5th Paratroop Corps hold their ground in Northern Arabia and keep the supply lines open. The 12th Army Corp, 6th Black Legion Army , 8th Black Legion Army , and 9th Black Legion Army took Riyadh and surrounding areas with out much of a fight, most of central Arabia was under their control, they quickly began garrisoning the region.

The 2nd, 3rd, 9th, and 10th Army Corps stopped their advance just outside of Medina and Mecca. They began massive artillery bombament of the TLS lines, but made sure that they didn’t hit the holy shines. They use napalm to make sure that TLS soldiers were burned alive in the their lines. Then 200 A-10s and 20 AC-130U Spooky attacked the lines and dropped more Napalm on the TLS lines…making sure the soldiers saw hell fire…

The 12th Army Corp, 6th Black Legion Army , 8th Black Legion Army , and 9th Black Legion Army were assign to take Riyadh, they also burn everything in their path. 150 A-10s and 30 AC-130U Spooky were assign to soften up the TLS defenses of the city. It was going to take four days for the forces to reach the city. Plus the 2nd and 3rd Army Corps were send in to give more support to Siege forces in their pending attack on TLS lines.

300 Typhoon EF-2000 Eurofighter were assign to handle any TLS aircraft and make
sure the skies stay friendly.


Mediterranean Sea

The Med Fleet Group was now a day away from their target…soon another front was going to open up against TLS.

Former Carthaginian Territories

The unimaginable had happened; Carthage had been defeated. For some soldiers, it was unbearable. Carthage was the greatest nation in the world! Carthage was indestructable! Carthage was guided by the hand of God! Now, they were handing over their weapons to former forces, without any battles on Carthaginian soil. Many, shocked by the annihilation of Sicily and the obliteration of the VI Corps in Pakistan, were content to surrender their arms and go to their fate. If Carthage was so weak, they thought, why not join in the victors? Others, however, weren't. Many who heard the same stories instead felt great fear of what was to come. Many in Arabia began to move en masse into Bahrayni territory, seeking asylum. Many in India attempted to go to Varsola or Bahrayn as well. They were followed by numerous civilians as well. Many in Africa fled across the sea to Rome, where they believed tey could be saved.

Others were not content with either choice, and instead went off into the hills to begin fighting the invaders. These were the few, the die-hard loyalists, willing to die violently for their beliefs. They were also followed by their die-hard civilian counterparts. They took as many weapons as they could, and began to train.

The soldiers started pouring over the border, racing to the banks of the Nile. Most of the Carthaginian defenses had been smashed to bits by either air power, ground artillery, cruise missiles or naval artillery. The Cots had demonstrated the necessity of overwhealming firepower. As the soldiers moved westwards towards the Nile, Carthaginian civilians looked at the Cottish forces moving past them. Most of them had been citizens under Cotland up to a few years prior and knew that they would be treated nicely and fairly under Cottish rule, and that the Cots cared about its populace. That, combined with the total lack of Cottish weaponry hitting civilian areas in Egypt and Israel had helped the popular opinion not hate the Cots. At least not as much as they hated the Germanians, Hawdawgians, Doomingslandi and Eurasians who had attacked civilian targets with assorted weaponry. They looked as the tanks and IFVs moved quickly past and the light infantry came and started setting up shop. A few isolated pockets of resistance existed, but they were dealt with as they appeared.

This nation also wishes to extend its thanks for ending this conflict swiftly and without pre-tense. This shows a fine example of diplomacy for the people.

Chad-Libya Border, Northern Africa

As the sun was casting its last rays of light over the dusty plains of the fortified border, tanks, APC's, Artillery and troops of the 6th and 7th Army's began their trek across the combat lines. The forces would spread in a three pronged line of advance, one group up the middle, the other groups out wide on the flanks, close to the Egyptian and Algerian borders respectively.

Red Cross vehicles followed behind the military vehicles with Army National Guard Units, from Aozou, as escorts. The first areas reached were the border towns which had been shelled and hit by Cruise Missile strikes. The odd pocket of resistance had to be dealt with in these places, for obvious reasons, but once the talk of free aid got around people became less hostile.

By the time the sun had almost dissappeared, the scrubby desert hills turning an orangy red in the dim light, forward element's of the 7th Army had reached the sprawling city of Al-Jawf, its Minaret's visible in the twighlight, the call to Maghrib (Prayer at Sunset) was echoing across the city, the Muezzin chanting almost hypnotically:

The forward units of the 7th Army stopped their light tanks and vehicles on a rise in the huge highway going into the city. Traffic was sparse, people didn't want to travel near the south yet, and people were at Evening Prayers, so the soldiers set up a roadblock across the multi-laned highway and quietly turned back anyone wanting to move about, it was deemed not yet safe to do so.

Most of them had been citizens under Cotland up to a few years prior and knew that they would be treated nicely and fairly under Cottish rule, and that the Cots cared about its populace.

With the war over, the Arm Forces Junta ended and Civilian government was restored in Eurasia, Premier Nasir Al-Subaai declare massive rebuilding efforts for the newly added regions of the Federation. Peace has returned to the Federation, also arm funding was increased to help the Federation defend to its new lands from attack.

OOC: This was probably one of the most unfair, one-sided wars ever. I really didn't want to get involved because it was overkill when it began. I was hoping that the RC would get involved on behalf of TLS but I'm very disappointed that they didn't, it's weak, very weak. I do apologize to TLS for getting involved and only making it worse because my involvement wasn't necessary but I was required to honor this in accordance with TOA bylaws.

Casablanca, Morocco

Fires still burned at the major military complexes around the city. Most of the civilian populous had been spared, when the second wave of B-7C's dropped JDAM weapons on targets in and around the city. The city still had suffered immensely from the air assault.

Plans were on the table prior to the cease-fire agreement to move the 7th MEF from Guinea Bissau into Casablanca. Lucky for the Marines in the 7th they avoided facing the dug-in Carthage Army on the Beaches of Casablanca. Roughly 12 hours after the cease-fire the Fleet dropped anchor just outside the Port Facilities in Casablanca. Combat Engineers with the 7th had determined it was best to offload all necessary equipment at sea to avoid the badly damaged docks. As the bays of the Raptor Class LHD's, Anaconda Class LPD's, San Antonio Class LPD's, and Samurai Class LHA's flooded, Marines disembarked into AAV7A1's and began the slow boat ride to the shore. Other LAV's scurried Light Trucks, Armor, and supplies to the shore. Quickly a Base of Operations was established at the Warehouse Warf.

In conjunction with the arrival of the 7th MEF, the 232nd Airborne Infantry Division based in Liverpool was scrambled for an emergency insert. They were tasked with establishing control in Tangier. The port facility at Tangier had only received slight damage and would be a key location to insert much needed relief supplies into Morocco. As the jump was made a relatively uneventful day unfolded for the 232nd, as they managed to secure both the remains of the Carthage Outpost North of the City and the key locations in and around the Southern Commercial Docks. The commander on site was relieved to see the huge container cranes still standing at the Port. This would allow for an efficient method of unloading supplies for the civilian population.

Throughout the Occupied Territories

All things went smoothly during the first few days of occupation. Only sporadic fighting occurred with a few desperate holdouts, causing limited casualties. Much more important was the desperate need for humanitarian aide within country. Hawdawg chapters of the International Red Cross assembled literally tons of supplies and began the slow process of assisting the natives of the land. Navy Sea Bee crews arrived on scene within the first week and repaired the severely damaged electrical grid in most major cities within a month. Vital water treatment plants were repaired and land phone lines were reestablished to link remote regions with the towns throughout Morocco. The sheer size of the rebuilding project taken on in this tattered country involved many organizations besides the Military. Hawdawg's largest company C Rations R Us kicked in to provide thousands of MRE's for the natives so they wouldn't go without food. Air-drops were performed by the C Rations in remote regions to ensure the rural population didn't fall through the cracks. Several other Corporations stepped up and provided employees paid leave to assist with home reconstruction for Moroccan's. Habitat for Humanity provided the necessary know-how for these corporate contributors and over 100 homes per day were constructed in Casablanca, Ceuta, Rabat, and Al Jadida the first month. With education being a tenet of Hawdawg society, volunteer teachers took time off to help rebuild the education system within in Morocco. Just three months after the war ended, 80% of the children 5-18 were attending some form of school within their communities.

Neo-Babylon now faces a lengthy period of reconstruction, and all newly claimed provinces must now face total disarmament (at some point, however, we intend to establish a Carthaginian Auxilia force to allow better self-defense capabilities). The Empire intends to provide most of the funding for this project. However, in order to allow ease of governance, we shall look into granting semi-autonomy for the city of Neo-Babylon at some point in the future. When we say semi-autonomy, we mean that you keep most local laws, but an Imperial garrison shall remain along with a Procurator to oversee your own government.

We have not come to destroy your way of life. We wish to make that clear now.

OOC: So quick to judge. Let it be known there are more than IC posts that win or prevent wars, and I already did my part months before this happened. Two lessons should be learned from this:

1) Don't expect aid if you are inactive wo/good reason or offer nothing to the alliance or E2.

2) Appeasement does nothing but make the aggressor more greedy.

I grow tired of everyone passing judgements as if they understood the entire situation by this RP alone, and that is all I have to say in my defense.

Upon receiving very little in reward for weeks of hard and costly fighting, the Reichskanzler ordered that two of the four German Armies stationed in Morocco were to stay put and the other two were to be transferred East into Algeria to secure the territory. Accordingly, the 2nd and 9th Armies moved into the aforementioned country. Acting before Doomingsland had the opportunity to move securing forces into the Mediterranean, he made his move.

The 9th Reichsmarine Fleet based out of Bosnia - but already mobilized in the Mediterranean - moved and spread-out along the Eastern Coast of former Carthaginian Italy. The 12th Reichsmarine Fleet - also already put to sea - moved South and blocked the Southern Tip of the region. By order of the Reichskanzler, the 6th Reichsmarine Fleet moved out of dock in Marseilles and formed a barrier on the Western side of the once-Carthaginian Italy.

Based out of Toulon, Nice, and Perpignan, France; Barcelona and Portbou, Spain, the 3rd; 6th; 8th; 9th; and 13th Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper) Korps were ordered to be air-dropped into Italy. The 3rd Fallschirmjäger Korps was to land on and secure Sicily, while the 6th and 9th Korps landed in Calabria. The 8th and 13th Fallschirmjäger Korps would follow-up by landing in Apulia, Italy.

Launched from France while all of this was occuring, the 5th Army Korps was transported by sea to Basilicata, Italy and landed on the largely-destroyed and abandoned Carthaginian beach defenses.

In order to secure Africa even more, the 4th and 6th German Armies were moved by ship across from Spain and into Morocco. The experienced and infamous warriors of the 4th Army moved into Algeria while the 6th Army - though still quite capable - remained in Morocco.

“Well, we’ve been watching this shit for long enough. Contact the Layartebians and get us some access to the Med.” The statement was, effectively, the summation of the entire Armed Republic involvement in this conflict, well, would be, as the Armed Republic wasn’t involved in the conflict in the very least besides a passive assurance to several nations involved that the might of the Armed Republic would back them if they required it. That ominous potentiality, thankfully, never occurred. And now it was to numero dos on the list of the Armed Republic’s concerns: national interests. An Armed Republic ally was getting the short end of the stick, and it was in both nations’ interests to lengthen the stick, considerably. Thus, the seizure of southern Italy was important, not only for the hard work and blood involved but for the interests of both nations. For the Armed Republic, it was the promise of a Mediterranean military base, capable of operating Army, Air Force, and maritime assets for use in the Mediterranean and across the world, something of a rarity for the military of the Armed Republic who only occupied one permanent overseas base which was located in Hawdawgian territory and on the opposite side of the world. For North Germania, we didn’t care what they wanted it for, nor how they got it. Thus, the Armed Republic was quick in its participation.

The recipient of the verbal statement, a senior communications officer, quickly answered, “Aye, will do, sir.” The haphazard salute and following retreat to the ship’s communication center left the Chief of Theater Operations Admiral Mikhail Vinderov alone within his office, facing a pile of dossiers, maps, updates, and a computer monitor with streaming data. He watched the communications officer leave before seating himself at his desk and clearing the way to the keyboard. A few clicks of the mouse revealed a real-time intra-ship command meeting. He lifted a headset from the desk and placed it over his right ear, adjusting the mic and keying in his authorization.

“Good morning gentlemen.”

Several men responded with “Admiral.”

“Alright, I’ve got an upper level meeting in fifteen minutes so this’ll be quick and accompanied by a full data packet over the net. But, we’re going active in the situation now. We’ve offered EN-GEE our assistance and they’ve agreed. We’ll be deploying light airborne assets into southern Italy in support of a Germanian occupation. Ivan, we’ll be deploying them from your ship and they’ll be landing across the northern tier of the region, Abruzzo, Campania, and Molise. Yuriy, when we get in actual theater, your task force will be delivering the entirety of your Marine forces into ports in Campania where they’ll move across the region to reinforce Ivan’s lighter forces. The rest of you will be involved on the aerial support, naval support, and logistics sides of the operation, your relevant information will be in the data packet, which should be…” He clicked the mouse, releasing the information to the half-dozen recipients. “Available to you… Now.” He glanced at his wristwatch, neglecting the on-screen time, and began speaking into the microphone again, “And that is all. I want these operations to commence immediately with the airborne assets. Let’s get this show on the road.” He exchanged any relevant personal speaking and spoke his goodbyes before clicking off the mic and signing off the computer. Collecting his officer’s cap and official dress he went on his way for a helicopter to ferry him to the fleet’s medium carrier where he would board an executive transport bound for the Atlantic Command [ATCOM] fleet for an upper level meeting.



Nonetheless, by now, communications had been sent via encrypted data transmissions to the Layartebian fleet/vessels blocking off the Mediterranean at Gibraltar. However, even before the fleet needed to cross this threshold, the airborne assets of the Navy of the Armed Republic, one of the Armed Republic’s more unique capabilities, had already taken off. The Marines, actually Airborne Cavalrymen who were whisked away to a Marine training academy, were aboard the many light and medium cargo aircraft and MV-87G Coba VTOL gunships/transports which would take off from the fleet carriers [two medium carriers, one light carrier, and one amphibious assault ship capable of launching VTOL aircraft]. The destination of these seven-hundred men, with a few dozen very light infantry fighting vehicles and utility vehicles, would be Campania. There, several self-deployable MV-87Gs, carrying the logistical equipment and logistical crew necessary to maintain them for a period of time, would land and create their own temporary field operations bases, allowing them to land, be refueled, be repaired to an extent, and be re-armed, but only for a short period of time [in this case, a few days while the naval vessels moved within range to resupply]. If needed, cargo aircraft could airdrop in supplies.

The operation would commence with the MV-87 borne soldiers to seize and secure a sizeable airport on the coast capable of landing the light/medium cargo aircraft. When that was accomplished, the accompanying cargo aircraft would land and deposit the initial soldiers and supplies. Then, trips back and forth would bring several hundred more soldiers and equipment to bolster the in-region forces. When that was accomplished, the forces would begin filtering outwards to secure the entirety of the Campania region and more importantly a port or otherwise similar infrastructure to land the more numerous soldiers of the mainstream Marine forces and their heavier elements which would arrive within two days. Then, the seven thousand Marines would move north to secure the other two regions while more reinforcements were moved in behind them.

During the entire time of operations, the forces would be supported by the several dozen aircraft [F-63KN Tengriys, F/A-41G multi-role, F/A-91D multi-role, DP-21U EW, etc.] operating from the Armed Republic naval assets at the entrance to the Mediterranean [and moving in].


Understandably, due to the relative under preparedness for this type of operation at this time [The Armed Republic had no intentions of ever entering the conflict], the forces devoted to the operation were quite small in number but little to no resistance was expected, especially with the capability to call on the North Germanian forces which would be landing to the south. Just in case, however, elements from the Atlantic Command would be moving towards the European continent to provide crucial support if it was needed. Hopefully, the operations would result in the desired effect: A North Germanian-held southern Italy giving the Armed Republic a necessary [and permanent] base in the European region.



OOC- Hopefully I got everything in there that I intended to. But. YES. I am alive. Anyways, this is only a once-in-a-blue-moon post, as this is not the beginning to a more active me at this point. I have the time, right now, but I know I won't tommorow and probably for at least another week or several weeks. Its been way too wet in the fields, and in fact, we still have standing water everywhere, but now its beginning to dry up and we're planting to beat hell now before the next rain. As for my therapy and stuff, I'm done with it. And now I'm getting dirty stares from elderly people when I park in a handicapped space and then proceed to run, yes run, to wherever I'm going. I think they hate me for it, and I had an elderly lady chew me out because her foot hurt and that I shouldn't be abusing my grandma's handicap sticker. I should've pulled up my pant leg and blinded her with gleaming titanium, but I only agreed, smiled, and went on my merry way. (Don't get me wrong, I do need to park in a handicap space at this stage because I really lack the endurance I used to have [it takes four times the energy to use a prosthetic than your normal leg] but I'm building that up again). Hawdawg Base of Operations
Tangier, Morocco

The build-up of North Germanian Forces for an assault on disputed lands with Doomingsland alarmed some of the top brass in the Hawdawg DoD. Many wondered where this escalation would go. Many of the positive things the Hawdawg Humanitarian Missions had accomplished in the recent weeks could all be lost if the war returned to ravaged Morocco. Supplies continued to pour into Morocco through the International Port at Tangier, temporary floating docks where constructed offshore to double the capacity of delivery. Dry goods, food staples, lumber and other building materials were off-loaded to waiting trucks supplied by Studemont Transportation Company of Essex. Dock workers brought in from ports of call all over England worked 24 hours a day to deliver the goods necessary for rebuilding the infastructure in Morocco.

The 232nd worked hard at establishing order within Tangier. The docks and wharf were heavily protected with a constant presence of troops stationed at check points around the entry points within the shipping complex. Heavily armed LOSAT II's and M981 FISTV's stood on alert at these choke points to eliminate any attempt at disrupting off-loading of supplies. MMPWV LV-08 Armored Trucks patroled the streets of the Tangier mainly to show a ramped up presence for the townsfolk. Random checkpoints were established at major intersections to perform weapons checks and to look for possible anti-government activity. As order slowly returned to Tangier, patrols began to move farther out into the countryside. Convoys of relief trucks constantly rolled out to the rural areas to drop supplies for the locals.

The 7th MEF had a much more difficult time dealing with the troubles in Casablanca. The port was taken out of operation when the lone Carthage Battleship was sunk in the mouth of the harbor. The fuel storage facility at the former Carthage Naval Base had been ruptured and fuel openly burned on the water in the Bay. Combat Engineers had tried without success to break up the ship with explosives. Even if the removal of the Battleship had been a success, no firefighting ships were available in Casablanca to combat the burning fuel oil on the water, the fire would simply have to burn itself out. Salvage crews were contracted from Oslo to remove the vessel, but this would take weeks if not months. With the port completely unusable air drops from England would have to suffice until a temporary mulberry dock could be brought in from Liverpool. This would allow supplies to bypass the Bay, but would be strategically close enough to the Warehouse Wharf so these storage buildings could be used as a staging grounds for supply distribution. Vital building supplies would have to be trucked via Tangier to Casablanca along the coastal roads. Both the 7th MEF and the 232nd would provide helicopter escort for these shipments, as they would be traveling through territories still deemed hazardous. Slowly things were coming together, but it would takes many months for this shipping hub to become active again.

The rapid buildup in Morocco to secure Algeria is understandable, we certainly welcome any fellow TOA members troops in the region to help quell any threatening actions towards the new government. We ask the Fuhrer to assist us in maintaining order within this territory and to help ensure our volunteers helping to put Morocco back together are provided a safe place to perform there humanitarianism.

[OOC: It's nice that you have faith in Cottish salvage crews and all, but they aren't really based in Oslo (which is the Cottish capital!), but rather in Stavanger or Bergen. Just thought you'd like to know since you're apparently using Cottish salvage crews...]

Following an order from der Führer, the 3rd Fallschirmjäger Korps in Sicily abandoned the island and moved Northeast into Calabria. Meanwhile, nearly half of the 5th Army Korps - 1.85 Armies - moved South into Calabria to support the 6th and 9th Fallschirmjäger Korps already dug-in there.

The abandonment of Sicily was part of a plan the Reichskanzler had, but was not yet revealing to anyone except Reichsführer Heifer and Dr. Goettel.

Another order was sent from the Reichskanzler: the 2nd and 12th Armies were to be shipped from Morocco to Italy, designated to land in Basilicata and Calabria. The 2nd Army would arrive in Calabria, while the 12th Army would land in Basilicata.

However, the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th Armies remained in Morocco and Algeria. The 6th Army and half of the 4th Army were stationed in Morocco to assist Hawdawg in maintaining order and also rebuilding the territory, while the other half of the 4th Army, the 5th Army, and the 9th Army were stationed in Algeria, recreating order, rebuilding the damaged area, and defending it.

To date, no Ottoman Khaif or Doomingsland soldiers had come under attack from Germanian troops, and vice versa. But only time would tell what would happen tomorrow...

Official Imperial Statement

Imperial-controled Southern Italy and Sicily have been designated as nuclear test sites. All friendly forces have one and one half hours to evacuate the areas. All civilians must vacate the areas immediately. Minimum safe distance from the coast is an estimated one hundred plus miles. You have been warned. No exceptions shall be made. Testing is to remain on schedual.

As the statment was let out, the Marine invasion force that was initialy bound for Sicily changed course and headed towards Italy. Now that the Empire had aligned itself with the Romans, they would be able to disembark at friendly ports and continue down on an overland route.

In addition to these initial forces, a forward deployed force consisting of air mobile Marines mounted in ACI-68E Banshee II transport VTOLs escorted by carrier-based ACI-73E Aquilas with AWACS support proceeded towards Italy itself. If the Germans wanted to fuck around, that was well and good with the Empire.

If the attack on Neo-Babylon hadn't made it clear enough already, it would soon become clear that the Imperial Government simply didn't care how many people it killed to further its own goals.

Meanwhile, the XIII Army, currently in Algeria, on its way to Tunisia, double timed their advance towards the newly claimed province. However, no official statement as to Algeria's condition had yet been made. The force could just as easily reverse direction and advance on the Germans, if they needed. They were fully prepared to do so if the order was given.

Meanwhile, former Carthaginian defensive stations began to activate all throughout the newly occupied territory thanks to the activation codes graciously supplied by the deposed government (who were now very well taken care of, thanks to their cooperation).

Because of the threat of nuclear fallout, the cabinet ordered the Cottish strategic assets to be placed back up on BERSTAT-2. This meant that all strategic intercontinental missiles were checked and prepared, and that there was a serious risk of a release. Cotland had fourty Strategic Missile Wings, with each wing having three squadrons. Each squadron consisted of fifty LGM-209C Ewos ICBMs. Each Ewos had ten MIRVs, loaded with a 500 megaton thermonuclear fission warhead. In all, the Cottish fixed missile sites had a total of six thousand LGM-209Cs with a total of 60,000 500-mT MIRVs for a total of 30,000 gigatons of nuclear weapons. In addition came the B61 Mod 12 and B83 Mod 10 thermonuclear gravity bombs and the UGM-206B Snikmorder SLBMs in the Cottish SSBNs lurking somewhere in the world's oceans. In the Realm was attacked with weapons of mass destruction, the men and women manning these weapons would be the last line of defense for the Realm. They had sworn to open fire, and in recent tests where the crews didn't know it was a drill, more than 95% of the crews had been ready to fire the weapons. It was sufficient to take out a potential enemy.

OOC: This was probably one of the most unfair, one-sided wars ever. I really didn't want to get involved because it was overkill when it began. I was hoping that the RC would get involved on behalf of TLS but I'm very disappointed that they didn't, it's weak, very weak. I do apologize to TLS for getting involved and only making it worse because my involvement wasn't necessary but I was required to honor this in accordance with TOA bylaws.

IC: The Empire of Layarteb shall be delivering an aide package to Nepal in the size of $100 billion.

OOC: I will just say this- I tried to resolve the situation as best I could diplomatically. The RP moved faster than I could act, mostly because it happened during a busy period for me and now that I'm back home in Alliston, Ontario and no longer on residence, I don't have Internet access nearly as much as I used to. Normally, time isn't a problem, but this was the fastest moving RP I've seen in a while, so I was caught flat-footed and I can only blame myself for that. I can't speak for the other alliance members, but I can say that personally this essentially moved faster than I could think. Yes, it may be a bad excuse, but it's the best I can proffer, and I did the best I could.

OOC: Wow, welcome to E2 Doom. We may let you take out inactive players no sweat, but once nukes start flying I draw a line. First, several countries in the region have SDI and other ICBM defenses which will shoot anything down you attempt regardless of target due to your proximity to the Mediteranean. Most of what I've seen you RP has been 'over the top' already but expecting to be allowed to nuke southern Italy is ludicrous. You'll kill millions and ruin perfectly good terrain (both of which will most likely be ignored in a few months) Get real.

The COH is alarmed at the talk of nuclear weapons being used in southern Italy and/or Sicily. Since such an unhinged use of WMD's would make the Meditteranea a nuclear hotspot for years, destroying all wildlife, fish and land, not to mention the spread of deadly radiation to other parts of the world, namely Europe, Greece, the Balkans, Russia and North Africa, the Commonwealth has no choice but to declare that if nuclear weapons are fired on Southern Italy or Sicily, the COH will take it as a declaration of war against us, and we will retaliate.

Such talk of nuclear weapons is entirely irresponsible and the situation over ownership of the areas of Italy has grown out of all proportions. The Commonwealth echoes the sentiments of Cotland, Bjornoya and Rome in condemning these actions. Furthermore we wish, also, to see this situation resolved peacefully and the Commonwealth urges both parties to attend a summit in Rome that would surely provide a satisfactory outcome.

Statement to the World

The Imperial Realm of Japan will not allow Nuclear weapons to be fired with-in the Mediterranean region. We view the use of such weapons as wrong, and that the only thing they will bring is turmoil. Doomingsland has 24 Hours to comply and to step down from such actions, or a state of war will be in existance between Japan and Doomingsland.

Official Imperial Statement

Due to unforseen international opposition to nuclear testing in the area, all nuclear tests schedualed for the Mediterranian theatre have been cancelled. Again, the Imperial Government did not realize that such opposition to the testing of such weapons in our own sovereign territory existed.

OOC:I didn't get a chance to put this down in my last post, but this would be occcuring as German aircraft began to enter Italian airspace after I switched on those automated defenses.

Southern Italy

While the Luftwaffe had definately done a number on the Carthaginian defenses, completely obliterating most shore batteries, there were still one hundred and fifty SA-17 surface-to-air missile sites still active. Now that Imperial forces were secretly in possesion of the activation codes for the network and had made use of them, the incoming paratroopers would find themselves in an unforseen situation.

As German transport aircraft began to come up on RADAR, the SAM sites began to go hot. All of these actions were controlled from a centralized computer mainframe within Italy.

One by one, the missiles rocketed from their launchers, steaking into the skies at the incoming Luftwaffe transport aircraft, laden with paratroopers...

As the missiles were being launched, the High Command sent a communique to Luftwaffe command, informing them that the Carthaginians had some how been able to reactivate their Italian defense network, and that their aircraft were in danger. By the time the communique would arrive, however, it would be too late for the aircraft initialy targetted...

OOC:Look, it wasn't so much that you went in on Italy that got me mad, I can handle that, it's all a part of NS.

What got me mad was that you told me OOCly that I could keep it, then went and did the complete opposite. If you were do do something like that ICly, I can't get mad, it's all a part of the game, but when we're talking OOCly...that's something completely different. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here...

OOC: I only recently got land in Greece and Crete, and I don't want any radiation ruining that or my plans for the Gas Pipelines that will be unveiled soon. While I always enjoy responding to nuclear threats, indeed I see it as a chance to sabre rattle, and I do find it rather entertaining, it becomes slightly more personal when it is going to effect a serious chunk of land. But, I'm glad to see this resolved.

Casablanca, Morocco

Port Facilities

Over a month and a half had passed since the relief supplies began to trickle into Casablanca. Two Cottish Salvage crews based out of Stavanger and Bergen had arrived on scene and had worked feverishly round-the-clock to rid the entrance to the port of the sunken Carthage Battleship. Two of the largest off-shore lifting cranes in the world were brought in to remove the vessel in sections. As the crews worked against the clock, headway was finally made. A dredging barge managed to cut a narrow navigational channel beside the middle superstructure of the battleship after the Cott's had removed the Bow and Number One turret. Small vessels could now navigate into the Port Facility. Although this limited the supply flow into the dock area, the Mulberry Docks brought in from Southern England helped alleviate a perceived shortage of supplies. Truck convoys were arriving daily from Tangier to the North with heavy construction supplies. Branches of Habitat for Humanity scrounged building supplies from everywhere to rapidly construct as many homes as possible for the displaced citizens of Casablanca. Things would take time but all in all reconstruction was heading in the right direction.

Tangier, Morocco

The levels of supplies entering into the Port grew daily. Longshoremen set daily records for unloading containers of equipment, food, etc. These men took pride in the fact they made a difference. Many couldn't stand the thought of a child not having something to eat because they let them down. A gentlemen's agreement was reached among crews that traditional lunch breaks, smoke breaks, etc. would be waved so they could maximize the amount of material they unloaded while on shift. Many crews had to be forced to leave a shift because they just simply wanted to do more. Things began to slowly return to normal as trusted local's were hired to fill much needed governmental positions like postal duties, police, fire, etc. Paid Contractors arrived from England to begin rebuilding large office structures and government buildings. These contractors hired local men and women to work, providing them a stable job and a much needed pay check. The reorganized local government made sure all the basic needs were being met for the population and that work was being done to improve the way of life for all Moroccan's.

The Empire has ordered all shipping outside Gibraltar to stand down to REDCON 4 as well as the remainder of our military.

Because of the high alert status of Imperial forces, Spartan mobilization along the border did not go unnoticed. If anything, it stirred up the hive even more than the Carthaginian missile attacks did. Thirty million men was not a number that the High Command took lightly, even if they were all simply poorly trained, poorly equipped disposable conscripts. This massing of forces along the border was seen as nothing less than a prelude to an invasion, and Proconsul Secundus did not like it one bit.

A telegram was immediately dispatched to the Spartan government:

We have shown no hostile intent towards yourselves or your people. Your mobilization along the border is positively unwarranted. We demand that said forces immediately be withdrawn. We are giving you a three hour deadline to begin pulling troops out. If this deadline is not met, than a state of war shall exist between the Imperium Doomanum and Sparta. Do not take this lightly, for the sake of your people and that of yourselves.


This war is basically over. I just wanted to help against the one-sidedness and distract you long enough to assist The Lightning Star and get a little land out of it.

Telegram to Doomingsland

The Dual Monarchy of Sparta Dominion hereby announces that its troop mobilization will cease, and that the Monarchy has no desire for a conflict with Doomingsland.

Thats pretty lame, no offesne or anything. How can you reverse time? You cant just say that, it isnt fair to countries like TLS. I'm sorry (not like itll make a difference) but i think you should at least RP the quick engagment and pullout of forces.
